That meat masher is awesome for guacamole too! Side note: my great grandmother's favorite color was pink. Wall paint, wall paper, furniture, dishes. She was married to my great grandfather for 75 years. He definitely subscribed to the "happy wife, happy life philosophy."
For watermelon you need to look at the spot where it came off the plant. If the little viney part looks dried and shriveled it was left on the vine longer to sweeten up, if it looks like the vine was still thick and solid when cut, they cut it too soon. I used to grow them and learned when to cut them. They wont sweeten more off the vine, just get mushy which isnt the same thing. Yellow spot just means they didnt rotate it, nothing to do with sweetness. And if you can do it, nothing is sweeter than a home grown watermelon. 😉

Watermelon hack: find watermelons that have the yellow patch. It means it is ripe enough because it’s been sitting long enough. Also knock on them and go with the ones the sound more hollow/ high pitched than the others. Hope this helps!

For the watermelon look for a yellow spot and knock on it. If it’s hollow it’s most likely going to be sweet! If it doesn’t sound hollow just keep knocking. 9 times out of 10 this works for me.
I watched a korean street food video and they were using the pineapple corer, and then made a smoothie and put it back in the hollow pineapple! Ingenious
I really want that trash thing for scraps for our chickens we are getting! Love it! I have or have had alot of the gadgets. I have room for them I just never want to wash them lol and always stick to my knife and cutting board. How nice tho to be able to just scoop everything into that trash can and just take it out!!! I love love love it!!!

About all the pink, I love it! My husband is partially colorblind and tried complaining (lightheartedly) about us having too many pink things. I started to defend it at first then reminded him he can't even SEE all the pink 😆

I remember when you first got your salt and pepper shakers and I kept thinking how silly to have an electric salt and pepper grinder lol… a couple weeks later I ordered a set and I LOVE them. I hated that I needed 2 hands to grind pepper before lol.

Watermelons are hard to pick.. if you get a not sweet one squeeze some fresh lemon juice on it ans its delicious. Or freeze and add to smoothies. 1 banana, spinach, frozen watermelon and lemon juice all you need for these smoothies. Pinapples are good if you can pull out one of the green leafs on the crown easily. 🌞👍
