Great showcase! Lot's of great information in here. The blue hue you see as you apply is signature of micro-emulsions, particularly more prevalent in products that contain acrylic which is how GHOST cures dry to the touch.
Nicely done comparison of these tire sealants. I thought they looked very similar. I hope you do a follow up in six to eight weeks so we can see the durability of each tire sealant.
Thank you for sharing. D3 renew ( I believe) is acrylic based as well. Lasts up to 1 year. For 1/2 the cost. You don’t need 1/2 bottle per tire like Ghost. Cost per use is very inexpensive. You have Blak, satin or Gloz. Depending on how shiny/ wet look you are looking for as a tire sealant/ protectant
I use Carpro Darkside on my detailing van because it does last about 2 months. My van does live outside. However, every single application method I have tried I still have sling/fling afterwards. It is pretty easy to remove from paint... But it puts me off using it on clients vehicles.
Great video! Appreciate the comparison. I've tried several tire coatings/dressings and have ended up sticking with TW Hybrid Solutions Acrylic Tire Coating over Darkside. I like the satin look of ADS Ghost so I'm definitely grabbing one to feel out. By the way, what type of bottle tips are the ones you use on those bottles?
Thanks for watching, the other brush is the obsessed garage tires shine brush. I don't have links for that one but you can find it on Detail Factory's site directly. To be honest it's not my favorite applicator for tire shine though.
Hey DJ, if you use the product as intended by the manufacturer and use the spray head which atomizes the liquid I'm guessing 1oz max for all 4 tires. I'm thinking 1-2 sprays on an applicator per tire depending on your tire size. At the end of the day this should last quite some time especially given the durability.
@@FineDetailingAZ thank you! Just seen someone comment who hasn’t even used the product talking about how much you use so wanted your viewers to know the actual facts. Thanks for the reply.
@djmayo8147 not a problem. I responded in that thread too mentioning I didn't use that much product either. Hopefully that helps that person and give they product a shot!
Thanks for watching! I didn't have to apply very much at all. I'd say 2 sprays from the spray head should cover each wheel. Since carpro is so thick I only had to apply it once but overall I don't think I applied more then carpro. Hope that helps!
Hi JeanLuc, I wouldn't recommend any of these for floor mats. Typically you don't want anything that could be slippery. I recommend Koch Chemie Gummifix. It adds a nice finish without it being slippery. bit.ly/4datrYD
@@Danny_Geeseems about right I only had to apply dark side once to the applicator and ghost I did need to apply twice. That said I used a dropper for ghost not their supplied spray head so results might have been different.
