The airdrop location is set when u throw it, If it rolls away it doesnt make any difference to the drop location. The reason they got so spaced out and further from the target is the drops have an object collision rule coded in the game to stop airdrops landing stacked. Im told theres a slight randomness to it to simulate wind drift (not fact) unless anyone else can back this up?

weapons include the frag grenades and jackhammer I believe.

You can right click with the airdrop equipped and, if facing a wall, the airdrop will stick to it instead of dropping to the ground. An alternative to using the triangle of twig like you did.

ADDITION TO comment: I find the % chance of it landing exactly where you throw it works better if you stick it to a wall.. more times than not it lands in the base / compound than not ...

It doesn’t matter if the airdrop rolls the airdrop lands around the area of where it first touched

Btw. Autoturrets can shoot through supply drops i believe. You should try it out and make a pt 2

Dont put your scrap in the drop boxes for storage now with the new update... They seem to disappear. Lost over 200 scrap before realizing this.

When your dropbox is full and you still deposit something, it'll go into the other side, the one that you use to transfer stuff into it through a wall. To prevent this from happening, fill it up with items and then put 1 charcoal in it, won't happen anymore then
