I watched this ONE video so much when I was young. The spectacle of such a massive ship just sinking into the waves, never to be seen again for over 70 years was just so insane to me. Still is.
Very good video mate. It's fab the way you synchronised the music to the video like the way it is in James Cameron's. Love the music, my favourite from the film. It's only now that I can listen to it without bursting into tears. Good job my friend.
The ship's wheel is turning the wrong way. " Helm orders were still based on the old sailing-ship tiller movements, so hard-a-starboard meant put the tiller to starboard (right)’, thus turning the rudder, and therefore the ship, to port (left)."
This is a CGI masterpiece! The depiction of the inner compartments of Titanic flooding with seawater from the impact with the iceberg is shown as well, which sets this animation a step above most of the others! Just a few minor, insignificant errors but, overall, beautifully done! The model of the ship, itself, is incredible!
That was amazing! Great timing when the power turned off and great timing when the ship broke in half! I also loved the detail of the shadows! Your a great animater!
T.H.CooneyArt Hey, this is Casey Plotnick. FREAKIN` AWESOME ANIMATION! THANKS FOR PUTTING THIS ON RU-vid! Sorry, but man, this is too awesome to put into words. I am impressed! :))
As soon as I saw the nose of the ship was taking in water, my heart sank. I can't imagine how scared I would be knowing that we would all soon be in the vast, black, cold ocean
The way this illustrates the desperation of the crew trying to avoid the iceberg is so amazing. Reminds me of World of Warships when I’m trying to dodge torpedos.
Wow ! That's a wonderful video with a superb conception ! I really enjoyed to watch this ! Thank you for your work of memory... There are not so much people like you now.. Well done ! :')
From one Titanic fan to another- I love this video. I appreciate all the work I know you put into it, and it's absolutely beautiful. There are a lot of videos like this on RU-vid, but this one is really the best I've seen. Thank you!!
9 years later, and it still hols up. I always come back to this video, because the music is great and the animation is really cool. Great job cooney art.
This is one of the best animations I have ever seen beside the most recent movie and the one made by discovery and national geographic. Well done, very well done!
Titanic de geografia de geografias e estatística de uma pessoa melhor para a equipe da casa Civil José Dirceu foi condenado a equipe da casa de um ñ tem que o Brasil é dia a dia do estado governo federal para e estatística que o Brasil é uma pessoa
108 years. Still astonishing Edit: 25th March 2022: thanks for the likes, i know that the Titanic Disaster happened 110 years ago almost. I wrote the comment in 2020 and in that time it were 108 years, use your mind a bit. Thanks for the likes. God bless you all.
Almost 109 years ago and we are still fascinated by the Titanic. Such a tragedy yet we still honour those who died that fateful night. May their souls rest in peace. Edit: I'm just trying to say something nice. So please, for the love of God, can you not start wars in the replies?
After learning a lot of facts about the sinking and the circumstamces, it amazes me how the crew and the captain edward smith as well as a lot of passengers handeled the situation in the right state of mind, while facing their own deaths therefore, putting all their efforts in rescuing as many lives as possible before going down with the ship themselves
Like the animations! Very well done! This is like an excact replica. You may not see this since you probably forgot about this, but I love it! Just add a bit more splashing and the titanic split between the 2nd and third funnels and there was a bit of a hang on and the ship listed to port when her final plunge came
Not hating but a lot of Evidence (I’ve found) suggests that the ship split just aft of the third funnel also she suffered a port-list before returning to an even keel then splitting still resulting in a list to port but not so drastic that it lays on its side
Interesting mashup of both Cameron's 1997 film and his 2012 "Final Word" documentary. Apart from a few rendering glitches, your animation is really good. The selection and timing of the music pieces were all spot-on. Even if unintentional, I liked how there was only about 35 seconds between spotting the iceberg and hitting it -- this is accurate to how quickly the Titanic collided with it in real life, not the 2+ minutes it took in the film. She truly was doomed before they could even turn the wheel...
I still like this animation even if this old, beautiful details like funnel collapsing! this is awesome i like the way it breaks in half just like in roblox titanic. this is just awesome and beautiful!
Seen this video when I was, maybe in year 2. So I decide to comment on this video now and this year (2023). Coming back to the video is very nostalgic. Who else feels the same when finding or stumbling across this video or searching this video up. If you did then you are a legend and a veteran. (I probably watched this many times as a kid in year 2)
Get a load of this! Hehe, what you don't see is how the funnel stops in the middle of the water as if being paused, and then sits there for the rest of the animation! I didn't point the camera that way so I didn't bother with it.
