Peter i got really glad from watching this video, thank you very very much. It just proves one doesn't need tons of stuff to be able to live happily. I am an aspiring artist, i want to study design because i find it very amusing to create stuff with my mind. I got a bit scared after seeing that designers don't get high checks, i started worring if it would be enough to keep me afloat. But now. after seeing this video, i remember that one doesn't need lots of money to be happy. Thanks for every video you have uploaded and the ones to come, you are a real inspirarion for me.

Mr. Peter, Thank you for the grand tour of your apartment. Sorry about the light that's in your eyes; I'm sure you'll get an alternative option soon. Your pen collection - WOW. The animals you hunted in Africa and stuck their heads on the wall - WOW. The removable horn on the one animal. It's like "hello, Chief, Max here . . . ". - WOW. The Horn sound you imitated - LOL. Your refrigerator inventory - WOW. (but at least you remembered the mustard).

A dresser and a buffet would be great additions . Where do you eat .. at your desk ? The room with the doors might be your dining room. A small table and chairs could come in handy there. Especially if your Grandma visits ! You have a great desk setup . I sure hope that you are not paying a lot in rent ! And I'm sure it feels like home by now.

I love the new place, Peter. Though the Chicago one was more artsy and cool. But the new one is very homey feeling. And I think you are right about those lamps. I seem to remember years ago when those bowl shaped halogen ones were popular, that they had all kinds of fires with them. Kids throwing things in the bowls or something.

I know this is an old video so I'm a bit late. Thanks for posting this though, because for some reason I always imagined your art videos taking place in some weird room in the middle of nowhere, kind of like that room in the end of 2001: Space Odyssey. Also, I have those headphones. They're pretty nice. Also also, is that The Once and Future King on your book shelf? That's a fun book :D I love King Arthur mythology stuff like Le Morte D'Arthur Just more reasons to love this channel!

Seeing this reminds me of how happy I am to have a wife. Women really know how to make a house a home. My place looked similar to this before she made it our home. :^) Thanks for the nostalgia though, cool apartment.

+JohnLothe I can totally get that a woman can make a home, well, a home, and my girlfriend with who I live reminds me of that a lot of times. Though, as a guy, it's really not that hard to do the same anymore. The Ikea catalogs or pinterest or those kinds of magazines or publications are basically decorating for dummies.

You got tons of closet space. Don't get a dresser. Get one of them hanging canvas shelves. Those work well for dorms and small apartments.

I did the same thing before I moved. The figured out that solid oak furniture is a pain in the ass to hoof up a 4 floor walk up. I was all "F that noise-" and left it at my old apartment.

Kitchen = get a sideboard (most have cupboards) Closet = put shoes on the top shelf if your worried they will get wet You = must be really tall because we have those lamps and there is no way I could look at them the way you do lol Me = Jealous you have the Incal! hehe I so want to buy them.
