I think you are right those Midway Golden Tee are gonna sell out. It's a good entry cab for the average consumer, I would be surprise if they ever discount them. Not everything is for the hardcore collector. Smart move by Arcade1Up.
This is my opinion and it is just my opinion. I went for the ALP 4K Attack from mars and I ordered it with the SSF package pre installed total was 2199.00 with shipping. Took just under two weeks to get it. Surprised that it arrived with no damaged at all. I figured it all out and after a person buys the entry level machine and adds all the add on back on you are actually paying more and not getting the game packs that you would have got if you bought it out right. Trust me you will want the OTG in the long run. And you will want to run VPX Standalone. Now about the Zen Game lag, it personally does not bother me, but I'm not a Pin Ball champion and I just play for fun, so that is a deal breaker for the REAL Pin Ball players. I hardly notice it except when I go from a Magic Pixel table to playing a Zen table and i have to adjust my timing and then I'm good again. Any way you go you are looking at 1800.00 and then adding more down the road or 2199.00 now. You could always hold out and see what Christmas sale they may or may not have also. I would think you might save around 200.00 at the most
Haha the cliffhanger. I picked up A1up mars attacks and it’s gotten the most play around here. Did the firmware update and there is no more lag, white water plays great now. Enjoying the Williams tables it comes with and is part of the reason I went with this one. The tables look just fine even at 720p and once you get playing you don’t really notice any graphical downgrade. I also tossed in a heatsink which sticks on the outside of the pcb box, double sided tape included just to be on the safe side. Fits just perfect. I’ve had it for maybe a couple months now or so and got it for around $340 with a discount applied. Wayfair is very good for getting A1ups. Any imperfection on the cabinet and you can get a 20% refund back within 30 days of purchase. No questions asked. Add a 10% off coupon code when you purchase it and you wind up paying first gen prices. Dragons lair still holds the crown for best looking cabinet for me. I will not part with that one. I’ve sold 6 out of the 10 I own. No regrets and am happy with the remainding 4. Class of 81 sitting in the box still. Can build it now I’ve cleared up some of the clutter. I do have one atgames legends ultimate mini cabinet I really enjoy with coinopsx over 7,000 games installed. Takes a bit to boot up of course, so to me Arcade1up is my preferred machine.

@@PDX7 I have heatsink on the back of my dragons lair pcb box and AFM pinball. It will draw the heat away from the board and these are adhesive so you can just stick to the metal outer box of the pcb. This would be the one you would want to fit the dimensions of the pcb box. Grabbed them off Amazon and cannot hurt. I read about others doing it on certain arcade 1ups that would get quite hot. Dragons lair is one of them. @@PDX7 No problem man. It’s cheap, easy, removable, and seems to conduct heat off the box. Saw a guy do it with his ridge racer and MvC2 cab and claimed to have made a difference. I had to place it at a slight angle on the back of the pinball cab, so it wouldn’t block the holes on the outer box housing of the pcb, but seems to be working. At around $4 a heatsink I think it’s worth it. Dragons lair and pinball seemed to be getting real hot before and I’ve seen a few issues with the scoreboard display on dragons lair going out due to overheating.
You bring up some very good points with the Kohl's Cash. It's a nice incentive but doesn't actually save any money and is worthless unless spent. And honestly you're not missing much other than some additional discounts by not jumping in on the ALP4K now. Although there are some pretty nice extra discounts available.
I thought about Kohls cash on my way to work broke down every scenario and I’d still be spending the same amount if I bought an ALP and a 1up. I really think starter is the best option for me personally keeping it lower and adding as I go.
Remember the A1up Attack from Mars overheated. Does it still do that? You would have to put a fan on the PCB. Save up for the Atgames 4k with pre installed sound kit. You will be happy you waited and saved up for it.
They just mean 7 inch scale which is 1:10 scale. The Darkseid figure will be larger than 7inches, but the same scale. So if Batman, who’s supposed to be 6’2” is 7 inches (or slightly more because of the bat ears), then Darkseid should be closer to 8 inches.
Good to see the coffee machine, I got my gf one of those types with both options, I personally use Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista and pull long shots. AFM with the topper, its def way bigger and more substantial than any sazbos topper and the otg/usb direct is the one to get right now, the ssf will be on sale later on again. The lag fix with beta testers is coming soon and once that drops to everyone I expect sales to really jump after that. The next NOD for those that want SSF is worth a wait, glad Atgames gives people lots of options. I think Star Trek is best looking topper, then AFM and Addams Family.180 Tables so far.

@@PDX7 I think the discounts are slightly reduced for the options. I think AFM is the best over all machine offered at the point, it just looks sexy in red and accurate, dont get me wrong I love my addams family but the topper on afm is off the hook!

The intec mod with my switch let's me play all the games on an arcade 1up.... Zen tables, pinball M,fx3.... And zaccaria.... I'm not paying 1800 for a laggy machine with one game
1800 is way too high even with kohls cash or having ssf installed. Only way I think right now until a better sale is 1199 without topper. The games that come aren’t anything to talk about it’s all about the packs. AtGames should discount lower knowing their money is in pinball packs.
Great video! Nice to see Golden Tee Deluxe in store! It's on my list of pickups (unless the XL comes down at Costco). That post office was my post office way back in 2005 when I lived in Norhardt Apts there :) If Kohls gets the Peanuts 4K in, Ive got some hard thinking to do.

And 19KFox had a great comparison discussion between the ALP and the A1up last night, trying to figure out what elements are worth how much? Nope and any way I can factor this we’re still spending the exact same amount even if we buy a 1up instead of 1784 it’s closer to 2086. I don’t see the advantage at Kohls just getting it faster.
Isn’t most of the skin covered by the cabinets to the left and right? In my opinion, it’s all about the games. And more options are better than fewer. With pinball, in particular, the same layout can get pretty boring after a while.
I have the Addams Family 4K w/ topper and while playing Garfield, Godzilla, or any other game I don’t have time to look at the topper. Game play is too intense. The is cool when you’re looking at the machine from across the room.
Dah! Cliffhanger how could you man? lol I really don't think you are going to pull the trigger on the pinball table at this time and you are going to wait. Well anyway I woke up Sunday afternoon to no water working in the house. Called the water company and they told me a neighbor called them saying there was water running down the street around 9:30 Sunday morning! So they found out the water leak was coming from my yard! I had a water main burst and had to dig to it, then get PVC primer and glue. I'm about to go outside and turn the water back on as I let it cure for 3 hours or so. It says 2 hours for maximum above 60 degrees. So being it's 90's at night here I should be good. Car's been running great and getting better as I drive it! Just passed smog this past Saturday and ordered my new tags! I'm good until December of 2025!
Man I’m really sorry about the water what a scare! I’m glad it’s back and running it’s been brutal by you. Great news about the car!! Worry free for the rest of the year :) I’m not sure what to do yet, this is such a tough decision for me.
