Hi Farrah 🌺. Beautiful tour in this Ace garden center it has pretty plants . Farrah japanese maple🍁 must be a surprise gift for you on you birthay next month also my birthday in may . Have a great day 🌺🌻🌺
Such a fun and beautiful nursery! I was drooling with you over the Japanese maples and the standard roses! Some of the Proven Winners prices are much better than in Houston. (Zone 9b like you). They still are my favorites, tho! Thanks for taking us along with you on this exciting shopping trip! 🍁🌹
Thank you, that Japanese maple definitely shocked me. They are grown for our heat. I'm so excited to know that. I knew they were very sensitive to heat, but this just sealed the deal for me 🤗
Hi Farrah Thanks lots of nice plants. I have an Ace hardware they do not have plants. I did get my mulch 3 for $9.99 from Ace which was pretty good and I like the mulch. I know you got a real good deal on yours. The Ace store is real close to me also. I have used up all my bags. I think I am ok for now. I am still in the early stage of gardening and you are very helpful and fun. I have a black and white cat The black and white cats are called tuxedo cats. My cat, Frosty is 7 years old indoors except on a leash with me and goes outside to garden. Frosty is very good to sit outside next to me. Some people are allergic I know.
I had a white and black cat 🕊😇. There are 3 kitties in this garden center. They are all super cute and friendly. Never knew they were called tuxedo cat, how adorable. I need more compost, they need a mulch sale for the compost as well 😂.
The greenhouse I work ate has a couple of greenhouse cats... They also nibble plants they're not supposed to. But I guess they learn because they haven't gotten sick yet lol
I grew herbs in containers this winter- my basil did well, rosemary went crazy, thyme and dill not so good. We planted lemon grass and ginger out of sight of the HOA🤫 and they did fantastic. If you do plant herbs I will be anxious to see what does well in zone 9b.
Some of those Proven Winners plants cost a lot less there than they do online, and there's no hefty shipping charge. That was an exhilarating tour, thank you.
That is correct. The proven winners' container here is also a lot larger than online. So not only savings on shipping but a bigger plant. Another reason why I stalk this garden center in particular. Plus they give you coupons that are $15 and $20 off 🤫🤫
Right. PW online very expensive. I busted my budget just to get a few that I couldn’t find locally here in GA but I won’t do it again. 2 weeks later I found flats of the PW purple petunias on clearance….they looked like they just came off the truck so I grabbed a flat. This is how I’ll shop from now on. No more mail ordering.😊
