I ordered this stencil the moment I saw P & M show it on their stream. I just knew it would be a great tool in the journaling arsenal. Watching your video has shown me myriad ways to use this!!! Absolutely BRILLIANT, Ceri!!!
Thank you so much Ceri for thinking of those of us who don’t own gelli plates. I really appreciate you for these ideas to use your arty labels!❤Great ideas!
Hi Ceri. Great demo. I use the blanks of punchouts to do similar things, but of course, they don't hold up to repeated uses. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞
Love that you showed how you clip with the bottom of the cutter showing. I was having issues cutting the corners from the blind side. Your new stencil is wonderful.
That is a brilliant stencil! I appreciate how you thought it through with the straight line cuts and the fact that the circles will fit a specific diameter punch. I love making ephemera -- too much fun! Every one of your videos gives me a new idea, an AHA jump to something new. Thanks!
Thank you, Ceri. I have watched most of your videos and love all of them! I may missed your comment but your wonderful label stencil could be put on a full-size sticky sheet and then you would have a sticky label! Thanks again.
Here’s a tip for using a punch with a tiny piece of paper. Cut a strip from a sticky note and stick to the end of the little piece you want to cut and it makes a handle to hold on to as you position it in the stamp. The remove after punching. Nice stencils.💜🐞
Hi Ceri, lots of ideas for your new stencil design. In the other video, when you brayered paint onto your gel plate then put the stencil down and picked up the paint through the stencil’s open spaces, I wondered if there was enough paint left once you’d lifted off the stencil to pick up the remaining paint with a pale layer of paint. Then you could trim out the labels leaving a bit of the first colour around the edge to have coloured borders on the labels. I waited for this video to see if you did it before I mentioned it. I’m a fairly new subscriber and am watching your past videos… learning lots of techniques, and reminders of ones I’d forgotten and not used for a long time. Thank you so much for your inspirational content. ❤
I've been using stencils for awhile now for several different uses, including spritzing coffee dye over them. Great minds think alike. However, I did not think of using single label stencil for what you suggested, even just to cut words out of magazines. Brilliant! Thanks Ceri. I'm still finding out where I can buy PM Artist Studio designs here in Australia. I'll find them, or I'll become an import supplier myself. 😉
Unfortunately the only place is to purchase them from P.M. themselves, the company isn’t yet large enough to distribute to retailers…….in the future yes.
What are your thoughts about designing dies to go with some of your awesome stencil/masks and/or stamp designs? I'm finding that using scissors is getting a little more difficult lately, but I'm not ready to give up my crafting yet.
