We asked the same thing. In this case, for the type of battery that had to fit in the style of body- wouldn’t allow the same as the clipper port. I notice many companies are like this. It’s definitely considered as more tools come out
Why do I keep seeing the fx3 trimmers with different run times? A bunch of websites have them with 4hr runtime on the box but on other websites it’s 3 hrs?? Is there a difference or is updated model or what??
I recently saw the X2’s on the station next to me, they were left behind by a barber that used to be in the shop. I checked them out and liked how the clipper is similar to a detachable clipper in comparison, I think I am going to grab these as a birthday gift for myself in September.
I have the fx3 Trimmer...I have a issue with the stationary gold blade....it seem to be a little rough at the teeth....it seems like this is the prototype blade especially because there's no logo on it.....and if you go on babyliss website the replacement blade the logo printed on it
Just curious about the foil razor, if it's the new version why are they cheaper thsn the older model? Also what shop are you in because from the sane state.
This is great I love the new design, I've still got 3x x2 clippers and my only downfall with them is once the have been broken in the gaurds tend to slip and not fit right have they or will they replace or fix this
@@Staygold31 thank you for your reply! Will stay anticipated, love how you do the reviews, very detailed! Here's the barbershop ig that I'm training at, hope you can take a look at them 😃 @holygrailbarbershop
Blessings Sophie I’m in barber college and I know exactly what direction I want to go I would love to work for Babyliss how do you and how do you become a influencer
Most of the time they continue. Everyone has different needs. You'd be surprised why people choose certain tools even knowing the newer ones have better updates.
Very informative video. Love the attention to detail. I am always learning something new from you. BaByliss is hitting a homerun with this line-up.... just wondering are the FX skeleton blades and the FX3 blades interchangeable?
Thanks i appreciate that! And great question… I just put both blades side by side and they do have the same shape but the x3 trimmer blade is a little bigger so I’m taking that they are not going to be interchangeable
These clippers Would be perfect for european Barbers , plus these types of Clippers and blades like panasonic and fx3 cuts more precise and faster bulk cutting
One thing I'd like to point out about the fx3 fading clipper is the indent where the bottom of a guard will snap into place when you put it on the clipper. The reason I point that out is because that clipper is similar to the JRL 1040/1090. Their universal guards have a hook attachment & would also be able to fit onto that clipper as well. Just a lil gem for those who use the JRL 1040/1090 clippers. I can't wait till these machines drop 🔥🔥🔥
Well damn!!! That was a A+ explanation of the X3 lineup... Attention to detail and the fact that you are showing the entire product and also how to and what to use... Great job Sofie... Salute!!!
Now being a month passed, how do these do with fades? Btw it's the Expo today so hopefully you put up another review or an update to this. But informative video! Excited to use these when I get my hands on em.
So I got my fx3 clipper in kit a fan of the guards. My x2 guards actually fit not sure why yours didn’t but mine did!! I’m happy they do, I got use to these
Ooow nice.. im just starting to learn barbering craft .. i dont even Have a cordless clipper but i think i will wait for that one :3 the sound is amazing.. silent and slick..
Sofie I honestly love this engineering the runtime on the set is what I’ve been looking for I love this complete set and I don’t know if I can be interested in anything else I’m serious I’m stuck with this three
I hope these aren’t like the fx from before. They start out nice and quiet and then they get loud and loud, doesn’t matter if you oil the blades or not.
Mines are still super quiet had them for over a year oiling the blade is cool but u got to oil the blade slide to that's where the noise comes from and from time to time put some lithium grease on the cam follower where the rotor attaches to the blade
Absolutely! My collection is insane so I take care of all my tools as best as I can. But even the best care doesn’t work out to well in the long run. Got over 2 grand in babyliss tools. You a barber too?
@@TOSAReptiles not officially a barber but I been cutting hair for a long time I just never got a license man i have 300 plus bucks of babyliss tools I thought that was crazy lol I do want the babyliss clipper how do u like them
Hello, Who would I reach out to in order to get a set so I may do a unboxing along with a review to put up for my followers? Iv always promoted the babyliss fx and settles for nothing less since their release. So I am very excited about this product.
They are both 2 different types of clippers. If you want something that's easier to learn with I would say the gold fx. The blade is a little more forgiving than the FX3 blade
That was a really great review! I think the guards and the new clippers are going to work really well. They seem like they are really flat, and will go straight to the head. A lot of people struggle with fades, because their blades are not flat to the head. But it seems like these blades will force you to do that. Looking forward to getting it, and using it!💈💈
yes exactly! thats what I really loved when I first used the previous model the x2. The guards were a little easier to detail with. Blades are massively sharp and pick up hair easily. when you get it, you'll know what I mean!
Thank you for this video. I just purchased these and have a few questions. When moving the blade open and close, do you have to press that button down. Also in the direction booklet, I thought said you can only add the gaurds on while the blade is all the way open is that correct? Lastly when it comes to charging, can you charge them as needed or do you have to let them run all the way down. Could you leave them on the charger over night as well? These feel awesome and seem very nice. Love all the features! It's going to be an adjustment getting used to the clicks. I'm used to a lever.
Reminds me of the Ferrari Volare. Was never in love with conair/babyliss or conair/forfex because they all would inevitably break. But I'll be lying if I said I didn't love my Ferrari combo 😬🥰🥰🥰
Great vid...well done and very informative! I tried purchasing a pair of the trimmers but couldn't find them...are they available for purchase now?...if so please send a link 🙏🏾
Great video and I'm hoping to get the set, I work at SportClips and they supply us with Wahl guards to use 1 per client then sanitize. Wondering if the fx3 can use the Wahl guards also? I noticed the different shape to it
Heyyy yooo...just watched this and you did a fire job and know your stuff super psyched to keep being updated by you...also you are an inspiring person to hear talk because you are invested 135% to that craft and this life....so blessed to see this and tomorrow I meet my Connect for the new fx3 products and will be killing the game all day so Namaste 🙏 and Namaslay all day....peace and Love beloved thank you so much hope to thank you at a barber show one day 🖖💚😤🙏♾👊🤟🤴🏼🤝
I love how babyliss Has brought the barber game mainstream. The trimmers is in my opinion the best one on the market other than that I’m really not a fan of anything else.
Which clipper are u talking about ? The x2 or the metal collection fx ones? The one i did a review about in this video has the extra thumb lock lever so it doesn’t slip
I just got mine I feel like the gold blade on the edger is too rough not a smooth blade if that makes sense if you touch it it's really sharp for no reason
