Good to know! Thanks! I noticed that when it’s a little wet it struggles to light unlike the mini bic which will light if it’s a little wet. I’m going to carry the clipper and the mini to have comparison then I’ll do a review.
I want to try the Fuel-in, thanks for explaining that. The CS40 seems like a solid pack from OV. I just ordered and received their Skyline Fastpack, and dig it so far for trail runs. You could always put the seat pad under the Y strap they're only a couple ounces. I like watching ALL the videos 😁
I’m really liking the flip fuel. I’ve done some test loads with the CS40. So far so good. I’m hoping to get it out on the Black Forest trail in the next couple months. I have a small z seat that I plan to throw in the front pocket.
Nice. I need to pick up one of those tools to puncture the gas canisters. I've been using those transfer valves for a while. I buy the big 1 lb canisters and fill up a smaller one. I don't even bother cooling or heating the canister beforehand. A few rounds of releasing the air is enough to fill it up.
I haven’t used the “crunch it” yet but I’m close to emptying a couple canisters. I’ll probably make a follow up of both later once i have more time using them.
Doesn’t the fuel evaporate in about a week? I seem to remember my father having to refill his frequently when he smoked. You’re just squirting the Ronson lighter fluid into cotton batting as I remember. I think a Bic would be less hassle
@@techguy9023 the classic zippos with fuel might be more inconvenient.. I get what you are saying but for some the nostalgia is with the little bit of work to make sure it is fueled before a trip. We used them all the time when hunting, fishing etc growing up and they really didn’t pose a big inconvenience in my memory at least.
