Thank you for that rundown. We are planning a trip in Oct to hit these trails among others and I was unsure if the stock 33s on the JL Rubicon 2 door would be ok, guess a trip to the tire shop may be in order.

It can be done on 33” tires but you will scrape and bang for sure. There are a lot of bypasses for the harder sections

What intersection was used to enter Fern Glen and Barney Rubble in the video?? Looks like multiple entry points on the map so I cannot figure where to enter and which direction to run the trail...

You can run any of the entrances. I went to the far end and worked back.

I like this format. It's not as over-produced as some of the other videos. It's more raw video from the woods. Some shots from under the Jeep would be cool. A dedicated cameraperson would be even better, but I know it might not be possible in many situations. The section right after 24:00 where you are out of the jeep explaining the trail is great. AOAA is huge and explanations like this are invaluable to those who maybe make it once a year or so. I would love to see more of the park this way, especially the hard obstacles. I prefer the view from outside the jeep in these situations. I agree with the other comment about the volume of the music. I actually needed to keep adjusting my volume so I can hear you talk, but then back it down when the music kicks in. I actually prefer the sounds of the vehicle driving the trail more than having music added, but I can see where some music would make sense when you are using the access roads. Thanks for taking us along for the ride.

I’m planning on going out to do these trails. However I’m skeptical about Barney rubble(don’t want damage). is it possible to go up Barney rubble with 35s and 4 inch lift on my jk rubicon without any major problems?

I was out with a group for the Topless for Tattas event, I was on 33s no lift and did the harder of the 2 BofA trails, Fern Ridge, no damage but a lot of traction board use I'll be hitting Barney Rubble this Saturday with a group and still on 33s stock, I'm not too worried

Note: I have differential skids front and rear as well as a MORE oil pan skid plate and aftermarket rocker guards and they did take a beating

@smellyblock5242 the route up Barney Rubble trail is a little too much for stock Rubicon suspension and 33s without a group to help stack rocks and a good spotter, you may need to use your winch
