Younger generations wear NB classic sneakers too, because dad shoe has been trending during last few years. Also, people now see that quality of NB is superior over Nike. I think NB 'made in USA/UK' sneakers will remain as classics.
I just about only wear 991; I have 6-7 pairs of them (and a 920), and I think that they are the best type I have ever used. I am 59, so I might be in the Dad-segment, but I still prefer the more colorful versions. I just bought a pair of the Underglazed yesterday, and later found out that I bought another pair of Underglazed a couple of months ago, so now I have two almost new identical pairs. But that's OK; I will get around to wear them both down...
The genius design secret is partly the corksole so the shoe breaks not only sideways but it also sink down and finally it fits bigger and perfect I geuss. I am one of few that newer have issues wearing mine from the start. Of cource they tight when they are new but never are they hurting or so. With that said 😊 last year i bought the RD sawmills with has some type of lining #2926 and soften suede leather. And I love them.
I've been wearing NB since '88. The price point on the 990 series has always been high. Cant beat NB quality though. I still have a pair of 576 Made In UK from the late 90s that haven't peeled or fallen apart.
Hi, I knew you are an expert in NB991. I want to ask whether NB991 is no more made in UK. I bought a 991 from NB authorised website. However I'm wandering is it fake. Cuz the shoe box doesn't show"Made in UK since 1982" and no visit Flimby map inside the shoe box. The one I got is there's large NB logo shown on the front of the shoe box only. Also, the words show on the shoe tongue is not crystal clear as it used to be. How to differentiate a fake shoe?
