New Balance Fresh Foam 1080 v12 comfortable running trainers

I've only started jogging/running again in the past couple of years (since college a long time ago). I'm 40 now so I try to use some of the most comfortable running trainers on the market to protect my joints as I'm not a young man anymore! I picked these 1080s up in the sale a couple of months back along with some Nike Vomero 16s after reading lots of reviews. Both are VERY comfortable but the New balance just about swing it (after 1 run in each) for me due to the more comfortable upper. Thanks for watching my video! :)
P.S - Sorry the footage was a bit shaky etc. For some reason I thought it would be a reasonable idea to use my 12 year old HD camcorder without stabilization. I was wrong :)

Thanks for the review on the Nike. I too bought my 1080v12 a month ago and find the outsole wearing out 50% after 50 miles. How are yours performing? Long time Asics fan here and each pair whichever model, lasted over 300 miles with minimal outsole wear though insole wasn't compressing enough as when new so I sell them off to nurses who don't need to run when that happens. I'm quite disappointed with the low durability of the NB. Should have waited a few days and bought Nimbus 25 😪

Thanks for your comment. I've only worn them a couple of times since I made the video as I was also trying out another new pair (Asics Novablast 2) which I found to be terrific. Unfortunately my back has been playing me up a little bit lately so i haven't been doing much running, so I couldn't possibly comment on how much they have worn down, because basically I havn't worn them much. I trust that your comments are correct though as I think I read some some reviews before buying the New balance that suggested that the longevity was probably not as good as other trainers. Respect to you for passing on your trainers to nurses though when the time comes. Thanks again, Adam :)
