Got these last month. As a consistent runner I can say that they are comfortable, but do require a break in period if you go true to size. Like he said the forefoot area is snug specifically where the bottom of the tongue meats the upper. However after a few runs I did start to feel less pressure. They are definitely great for casual wear too so no hate Sean!

These are obviously meant to be a bridge allowing us to travel with a high performance sneaker that we can take out for runs while also doubling up as a casual sneaker with jeans. I love it! Hope I can hunt down a pair!

😄Haha, don't worry Sean. I too have this and the previous grey/red Stone Island FuelCell RC and I only wear them casually. I don't run. In fact, I'm going to buy the new Nike AlphyFly Next% 2 in Total Orange purely for casual wear because I like the colour orange. No haters please 😂

But is it comfortable for walking? You don't feel like they bouncing too much if for walking?

For me they feel soft, squishy and quite comfortable when walking. That’s just casually walking too. I haven’t worn for long periods though. Maybe 1-2 hours at a time.

The quality finishes and quality control on this New Balance is something Nike should look at and learn from NB. If Nike can't deliver quality then they should stop increasing the prices

As a person who wants to run, but hates crazy colorful marathon shoes, it’s perfect for me. I’m more of a earth tone guy, and I’m getting performance as well.

how does it feel to wear the carbon plate for walking casually ? I have a carbon plate in my running shoe - saucony endorphin pro - but i don't know if it would feel great to just walk in

The plate doesn’t really bug me but this shoe is just way too unstable for casual wearing i find

Getting ready to join the military and I was looking at the SC elite v3 but I hate the colorways. This is more my style, the 574 is one of my all time favorites, I love the Japan colorways and I get the performance of a marathon runner. It’s perfect imo. I don’t really like the loud runner colorways, so this is what’s coming with me to boot camp.

That is an AWESOME T-Shirt!!!!! But back to the sneakers: I have been more and more intrigued by the RC Elite model since the Stone Island collab, but loathe to pay the resell for them. This non-collab plus the Japan colourway is def doing it for me.
