I love them too, love the way they make you feel like your on your toes at all times. I ruined my enjoyment of these after using the adidas prime x strung. After running in those the Supercomp trainers just feel excessively heavy 😢
Thanks guys for the review. I went a 1/2 size up in the Pacer...got them at a New Balance Outlet for $45...would not have bought them otherwise. Would really like to try the SC Elite V3.
I think the trainer concept was to give you a shoe that would be easy on the legs day after day in order to allow you to get a few extra miles per week. In addition the heavy weight is supposed to allow you to then transition to the lighter shoe for race day and feel even lighter. Like training with a heavy bike or bat then racing with the lightest weight one. At least that was my impression of what they were trying to accomplish with it. 🤷🏻♂️
Think the Streakfly stands up well against the Pacer and I still can't get over the price of the Trainer! Having Vaporfly, Metaspeed Sky, Endorphin Pro 3 and Alphafly then I don't think I need another carbon plated racer like the SC Elite V3 which is shame as I do like New Balance shoes but too many brands seem to have got there first! Another great video from one of the best duos on RU-vid though!
Only because Nike don't do a "series". I prefer the Invincible to the Endorphin Shift, I've not tried the Pro 3 but I can't see it being much better than the Alphafly (or Vaporfly if you prefer that to the Alphafly). Although I guess they don't do a speed training shoe to counter the Speed 3 (Tempo Next%? Streakfly is more like a flat...?).
@@rossfripp4503maybe so, except for the top tier race shoes the other shoes are arguably not as good for the price. I can can’t speak for the Vaporfly/Alphafly yet but the EP3 is pretty great
I generally like soft, bouncy shoes (Nike Invincible, Alphafly V1 etc) so I bought the SC Trainer on a whim. I absolutely hate it. It's big, feels clunky and really feels its weight. I genuinely believe the ZoomX Invincible is a far, far better shoe (for me at least.
I feel the same as you. I loved the Alphafly v1. The Alphafly v2 not even close in terms of bouncy comfort. But then came in the adidas prime x strung. Love the cushion so much. My favorite top tier race shoe. I wish the Alphafly upper could be married with the prime x cushion/midsole.
Oh dear as a rotation , guys the adidas range hands down are far superior in every way from sen8, to the mighty mammoth and lighter and poppier prime X to the fast versatile adizero adios pro 3 🔥🔥
Do other people let their laces flop around like that? Because that would drive me mental! 😂 Back on point, I"m not seeing a reason to upgrade from rc elite v2 which are class!
