Band of the RAF Regiment leading the military contingent in this year’s London Pride Parade.
As previous years the band entertained the vast appreciative crowd with marches and popular songs.

Just curious, how does the drum major of the RAF bands get chosen? I mean, they dont seem to have a corps of drums to choose their drum major from...

This is really interesting politically, here in Germany the Army does not participate at pride parades, and certainly not with a band... When thinking about pride flags being raised on the Bundestag, I guess it would be just consistent to do so! Not even to speak of the good PR it is for young people to join the Armed Forces.

Great! Showing that an effective military is one that tolerates and accepts peoples from every background, sexuality, race, gender, religion or creed. Operational capability comes from being able to act as a single unit, without fear or intimidation or bullying.

Bet if truth is known a lot of our men were not happy having to be there at pride festival Think my dad would have been Disgusted if had been ordered to do this especially knowing. How proud RAF is Feel sorry for our lads being ordered to do this Whoever ordered this needs his brain examined Seeing navy lads act the way they did is disgusting need court Marshall the lot of them

Actually all the troops at the back volunteer to do this, and truthfully the band would enjoy this gig as this is one of the most appreciative crowds they get throughout the year, and they get to play fun music!

@@militaryevents107 maybe wrong our military are not men Turning into big wooses now What did all our men die for 4 of my uncles died in WW2 For our military to turn out like this No wonder we're being over run by illegals and islamic threat to take over our country when our military have turned out like this By God our ancestors would be turning over in their graves God help our country I'm glad I' probably won't be around to see it as a lot of my age group Seeing what is happening to our country

@@tinajones4644 They died to keep this country free, so events like this can happen and so you are able to share the opinions you hold. Thankfully we don't live in a place like North Korea or similar countries where freedom of expression or choice is not allowed.

@@johanboor Sorry, the RAF was the only military band taking part and I only really had time to follow them and as there was another event I was going to later in the afternoon I did not have that much time, the video for the other event should be up later tonight.
