@Aragon: Do you tested the Spinning Strike AOE against the other 2 ? and the crescrendo vs. savage advance? And why you not running with the two DMG Rings from MDWP. One gives 8 % AT DMG and the other 5% Encounter DMG. Together they give an bonus 2,5% dmg. So overall more dmg. Is this combination not better instant of trying to cap all stats? Greetings and Ty for sharing.
Spinning strike versus Adamantine strike, the spinning just feels too slow and not worth the time avalanche is good for it's utility with that survivability. You'll need to know where best to use it
8% at-will ring will only result in a 0.8% damage gain due to: - you only get up to 20% overall damage from at-wills - and so 8% becomes 0.2 x 0.008 = 1.6% - since you have up to 100% damage buffs already that becomes 0.8% overall 5% stats is about 2.44% damage overall
5% stats is better than the 5% encounter damage, since thats only 40% x 5% = 2% damage buff, which is reduced to 1% from all the other damage buffs you have 5% stats is about 2.44% damage overall
the ring set would gives 2.5% damage buff reduced to 1.25% with 100% other damage buffs So overall the ring set gives 3.05% damage overall (0.8 + 1 + 1.25) Versus 10% stats from 2 rings gives 4.76% overall damage (from 80% accuracy to 90%)
Is it just me? or Barbarians are struggling to do dps when compared to other classes (esp. ranged ones) in dungeons. I always find myself running around the arena to avoid AOE instead of doing damage.
WOOW, very ty for this DOC file, you are just spoiling us to much lol, we are getting used to all this information, all digested and easy to use, ty MONSTER!!!! :D o/
@Aragon, awesome vid! I am new to the game and I have been watching your videos to learn how to play Blademaster. I still am not sure when to play AoE set-up and when ST, though. For example in a dungeon/advanced dungeon that there are bosses but also mobs to clear which set-up would be best to go in with? Also I like your appearence, mind sharing the name of the pieces you use?
You switch at the campfire. Go multi target for mobs and single target for bosses. There is usually a campfire before every boss. At least in the harder dungeons
okey I understood that in Europe we don't have the barbarian update to upgrade the class on a private server, it's only in the USA that you have the update, ridiculous. So we're dying with the rotten old barbarian that hasn't been updated for 2 years...........
Hi, @Aragon. TY for your video. Just one question: Xaryxian defector is the top damage AOE companion on your Companion Document, but in this video and in another one about the best companions for each role you published recently you suggest Minotaur as the best option for DPS multi target. At your companion document Minotaur is at position #35. The AOE DPS listed for defector is almost 40K against little above 16 K for minotaur. And defector is less expensive at AH. Could you explain better the reason why minotaur is the best option. Thank you for your attention!
did you just say ''make the party wait so you can get your rage ahhahahaah! ''bro and why are you standing still, u realise how hard youll get slapped if you do this in game? '' animation canceling'' maybe? Give up my guy '' barb not complcated'' ahhahaha
just like cleric Dps, yes. You need to coordinate with your team to be efficient. And you can always start the fight with full rage if you got some pinatas to hit before going in at the waiting area
Can you redue a wizard build? Cause before last patch fix I was capping my stats all 90%…now my crit sev is down 3% and my accuracy is off by 4%…I tried different foods but still can’t fix the issue
Oh that one, sorry didn't think you were referring to that bonus. Those are not worth. The better damage ones would be the mighty vambraces that can give 5% damage all the time.
Does the slowing effect from the poison thorn combat enchantment trigger the damage bonus from trample the fallen? The wording for trample the fallen after the recent change makes it seem like it only triggers from an encounter or daily that normally has a control effect. It used to be a damage boost to an enemy controlled by any source, even another players.
In my opinion they need to buff our AOE Encounters. Running MDOM and i tracked the dmg. Hidden Daggers and Axestorm dont do dmg. Its terrible. Against a rogue no chance. Mightier Leap do a lot of dmg but it depends on the content. For example in MDOM you cant run it. Dont know which dailys are more effective in AOE its hard to test. Its the same like Crescendo vs. Savage Advance .
Rogues whisperknive's shadowy opportunity feat has to get nerfed. There is no aoe stronger in game. Good rogue deals up to 40% dmg from that feat alone, that is imbalancing cuz there are no similar feats on any class in game. As soon as it is reduced to a normal 5-10% rogues wont do such damage.
Why would you use Crashindo that is a multi hit that has a chance to deflect crit or not on every hit. Savage Advance is a single hit and does x3 the damage as Crashindo even though its 1000 magnitude lower.
Im not a youtuber I just dont like bad advice. Go in the training room put on combat self and look for yourself. Savage Advance will do like 3 times Crashindos dmg.
@@Sincanister Crescendo is a 5 hit combo, summary it deals almost twice as SA. I just ran an ACT test SA 1065890 dmg Cres 1971152 dmg I can imagine someone uses SA over cres just because of the short animation time. But if we speak about dmg what you claiming is nonsense.
Is encounter collar best or u just running what u got? I thought barb was like the only class that runs at will collar, ring, etc instead of encounter, or maybe both type of rings sometimes idk.
5% stats is better than the 5% encounter damage, since thats only 40% x 5% = 2% damage buff, which is reduced to 1% from all the other damage buffs you have 5% stats is about 2.44% damage
@@Aragon- I usually have a problem tripping over nothing in the middle of a crowded street and pretending it was intentional by breaking into a spontaneous dance move . You ?
Build is similar to mine but im missing some accuracy% gets close to 90% but not quite there. All rest proc 90 butbi have to use squash soup for crit sev and crit strike. I dont use wood elf though. Meh
brutal critical gives rage back quicker aswell as during dungeons etc u need faster rage back for higher damage output because u have rage up a lot more often plus overpen dosent equate to 10% damage due to mitigation
guess all ur testing on is dummy’s how about u test in mdwp and get back with me because u can for sure see the difference that’s why the best dps on xbox run brutal crit lol
