I'm 42 years 'young' 😜...since high school I've always been more of a powder foundation gal!! Since watching RU-vid, I've tried to wear liquid foundation...and just can't get into it! Soo thanks you for posting a powder foundation routine!! I had IT Cos illuminating, but it broke...soo I'll have to try this one! Glad it's in a pressed compact also! Thank shelbie! I have super dry/sensitive skin and I Love this...I use my moisturizer then my complexion rescue and finally top it off with this and it looks flawless! I've also used it on top of other foundations and I always love how it looks!

YES THEY GOT RID OF THE BISMYTH OXYCHLORIDE!!!!!! i have been unable to wear bare minerals for more than a day or two at a time bc i am super allergic to that ingredient, even in the Ready foundation....i ran over to the ulta website to check the ingredients and I almost cried lol

I have combo skin really bad but the best thing to try is the complexion rescue and then bare pro on top! It gives you a full complexion it's amazing. I then set it with the warming powder due to how oily my skin gets and I was surprised how well it works!!!!!!!!

I just looked it up on Ulta's website and it does NOT contain BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE. I don't think you mentioned that in your video and you usually do. Now that my 20s are over, my skin has become sensitive to that ingredient. Thanks for the review!

Even though I am a woman of a certain age, I do have combination skin. Some liquid foundations, do not provide the smooth finish and feel too heavy or too light. Can't wait to try this. Your makeup color selections always looks lovely! I have also purchased some of your lipstick choices! You are a beautiful young woman with a wealth of knowledge that I appreciate. I was waiting foreverrr for them to reformulate their pressed powder since the original Ready foundation was the worst, but I am beyond disappointed that they decided to include talc in their product :(

LOVE this Bare Pro powder. SO much better than the Ready compact. The Ready made me SO greasy every time I wore it and also felt "thick" and heavy. It was a strange powder that almost felt like it was almost a thick liquid that had dried into a powder, was kind of sticky, cakey and it didn't go on well. The Bare Pro goes on so nicely, covers well, feels good on the skin and I really like the finish SO much better. It really looks pretty on!

The Ready powder foundation was so weird on me. It never blended in. It was like it sat on the top of my skin and made my skin oily which it normally isn't. My fave powder foundation is the Benefit Hello Flawless. I haven't found a liquid foundation that I like so I use this powder everyday but the color is a tad off. Hopefully the BarePro works out better for me and it is cheaper!

Hallelujah!! THAT looks really nice! MANY of us BEGGED to change the awful "NOT" READY for consumer use foundation. I used Bare Minerals since the later 1990's and then we had the original foundation with, I think it, 5 ingredients and the "mineral Veil was pure cornstarch that was milled very fine. There was nothing like it and it looked so natural and pretty! Unfortunately the Original didn't work on my skin any more, so I tried the READY and sadly remembered how good the Original used to be on me. It never felt heavy, smeared, caked, made pores look like craters or crinkled & bunched up in any little crease or line like that AWFUL READY did! And I have oily skin! I switched to the Matte and that worked well so I used it. The READY felt like heavy, thick, weighted powder, how that was possible I have no idea! I have had to switch to liquids and while they looked really pretty (like the finish on this new powder!), I had so much trouble with them sliding off, getting oily and perspiring them off no matter how much I primered, powdered, set it with Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray and blotted! I bought some tinted BB mineral Veil on ebay that I thought would work and promptly accidently misplaced it so I haven't even gotten to try it yet! I had never heard of it and knew nothing about it but it looked nice and better than the READY powder. Thanks for sharing this "find"! It really looks beautiful on and I love how easy and nicely it goes on! Strange, I LOVE the READY SHADOWS! but not the heavy, sticky foundation. I can't wait to try this one. If it works as great as it looks like it does my foundation problems are solved! WOOHOO! Thank you for your videos!

I HATED Ready. Passionately. Fire of a thousand suns intensity. That much. My skin is combination and it made my skin look like I'd mixed chalk dust with Vaseline and ground it into my pores, even with primer. So glad it's gone.

It's also available now on QVC. You can get it with the brush too.

Yes. am sooooooooooo excited! Finally they reformulated. The ready was soooo powdery for me. It always looked cakey. I will be getting my hands on this.

I've never tried powder foundations and I’m really looking into bareminerals for my first powder foundation but cannot decide on whether to go with the original or this. I like the color range but too matte for my winter skin... I have very dry skin. Maybe I'll try it again in the summer. Love the coverage and staying power tho. Still prefer the original formula

I wanted to like this, but the first ingredient is TALC! They should know better. Bare Minerals used to only use crushed real minerals. Talc is not one.

Yay I'm so excited about this!!! I did not like the ready foundation at all, I felt it was a bit patchy. Powder foundation is HG for me since I live in melt your face weather lol! Your makeup looks beautiful!

I love this product. I've been a BM user for more than 12years. I cannot wear the original because of the bismuth, therefore, I mixe two mattes. Problem was it could be drying on my combo skin in the winter. This I use in the winter with no problem. I also no longer have to mix.

I hate to hear people say they are disappointed about the talc.. Just know that this foundation is formulated with 90% vitamins and minerals.. Talc is considered a mineral, and used in THIS bare foundation for the coverage and wear. We still have 5 other foundations for you to use and love.. This foundation really does live up to the ingredients and claims. It feels like nothing on your face, wears beautifully, and is a MILLION times better than ready.. Give it a shot ladies and gentleman! You will not be disappointed

The original foundation breaks me out but I love the coverage/finish. I read on Ulta that this one isn't supposed to break you out! If anyone has a similar experience, does the barepro break you out??

I for one LOVED the Ready Foundation. The 330 Golden Tan was the most perfect color for me of any foundation I have ever used. While the BarePro looks great on you, it has talc in it, which makes me itchy. I can't believe that a company that claims to have good-for-you ingredients in their makeup is now using talc...very very disappointed :(

I know this is an older video but I'm a powder foundation girl and yesterday at sephora the girl showed me this product. I know you are pretty knowledge when it comes to powder foundation and I was wondering if you have ever tried Estee Lauder's double wear powder foundation. Im curious to know how it compares to bare minerals or Mac's powder foundation. I've used it for years and I like it but I'm wondering if I should try something different just for the sake of it. I'm surprised that not a lot of youtubers talk about it because Estee Lauder Is still a preferred brand for many when it comes to base products.

BareMinerals was the first non-drug store brand of makeup I ever bought. Still restock on the original. Off topic - but have you tried Maybelline's better skin foundation? I've been wanting to try it.

Great review!!! You covered all the areas that needed to be covered. I'm a bareMinerals girl and wear Golden Medium in the Original and Matte loose foundations and R330 in Ready foundation, Golden Medium was way too light. Also found bareSerum Bare Buff 10 slightly light and the shades above that not golden enough. Would you say I'm a Golden Nude 13 or Sandalwood 15 in the new version? Would really appreciate your help. Can't wait till this launches!!!!!

I like the ready, better than original. Original creases on me and looks a bit dry after a couple of hours. I have combo/oily skin. Ready doesn't crease at all and looks like skin. Wondering if barepro would work..
