I've bought quite a few Cada Molds and had them imported to Australia, quite an expensive venture, they always seem to stick or crumble. I've tried so many recipes that I'm about to give up. Any suggestions?
We find that our mix has to be a lot wetter to use the Cada molds than when we use our pneumatic press. We also use a combination of water and isopropyl alcohol as our binder.
@@rlpittard Unfortunately yes. Look at local "traditional" chemical suppliers around you. You may be able to find it. It may not be any cheaper, but you might be able to pick it up and same on shipping. You can also try Ravago Chemicals. I believe they have free shipping.
I’ve ordered numerous molds from Cada. They said on their site November 28th when I placed the order it was 4 week processing. It’s been almost 6 weeks order is still unfulfilled. I’ve sent emails to them and it’s been almost a week I haven’t heard anything back from customer service. I’ve been so excited about getting them but I’m really dissatisfied with the customer service.
Sorry you have been having issues with them. I think they are just overwhelmed with orders when they run sales. Hopefully you will hear back from them soon.
