As a Canadian I am stunned to discover Edinburgh has a man-made ski hill 😳😳😳 … 😁💕😁 … as the video went on, I started to get my eyes tuned to the green glass. Such a fun day. Always enjoy being out on the beach with you both 💕🇨🇦
I guess you have a lot of snow in Canada !! The Pentlands do get a bit of snow during winter but I think the snow slope mught have some artificial snow added ( not sure! ) ... The big chunks of green for so difficult to spot, they truly looked like pebbles :)
That was a lovely day at the beach and you both gathered such an array of beautiful treasures.I love the chunky sea glass but those little bottles of treasures are an absolute delight. Wishing you a good week.
I absolutely love the piece of music playing when Nicole was filling the bottle with coal dust. I was transported! Those chunks of green glass are stunning!
What a fun day! And a yummy star find! ⭐️ Just love all the emerald shades too. Great day Nicole & Craig. I can’t wait for next video so I rewatch older videos so I watch one everyday! Such fun. Love you guys and your videos. ♥️
Ohhhh - those chunks of green glass! 😲😲 🥰 A beach in a bottle is a wonderful idea. 😁 It's not beach combing weather yet in Ontario, Canada, but soon... 😍😍 I loved how the two of you kept getting distracted by finds; it made me laugh. 😉 I shall now go over to your Etsy shop to see what's new. See you next Friday. Take care until then. 😊😘🤗💖👍
Thanks so much Noralee :) Oh is it still cold in Ontario? It's finally getting a bit warmer here, really looking forward to now wearing a thick coat! The huge chunks were so difficult to spot, they truly looked like rocks! The little beach in a bottles are all listed on Etsy now :) x
Beautiful pieces of glass and variety of shells. I think that will look lovely in the bottles. Love to hear your voices, you both have lilting accents. A pleasure to listen to. Blessings
Hi Nicole and Craig, I never knew that Edinburgh had ski slopes. Learned something new today! The bottles with sea glass and shells are gorgeous. 😍 It's not difficult to guess which colour the whisky bottles had. 😅 I wish you both a wonderful weekend! Big hug and lots of love, xoxo ❤️, Ilona
Thanks so much Ilona! It's an artifical ski slope to be fair ;) The greens are so bright, they shine in the sun like little gems ! Have a lovely weekend and take care, Nicole & Craig xo
So many treasures on the beach today! The stopper was gorgeous!! And I love the beach in a bottle! The emerald pieces were so lovely, and plentiful. I would have wanted to stay at that beach all day 💚💚💚! Thanks for the reference to Kansas, my home state. I fear that the quote is the only thing people know about our wonderful state. Take care, and thanks again for a wonderful trip to the beach! 🙏💚
Thanks so much Ruth! Such a surprise find that stopper :) Just had a wee look at Kansas and it is beautiful and so green - the sunflower state sounds rather amazing !!! Have a lovely week x
@@scottishmudlarking Awww! Thanks for checking into Kansas a bit! 🌻🌻🌻We always look forward to September, when the wild sunflowers line our country roads. But for me, the most beautiful sight is the golden fields of wheat, rippling in our Kansas winds, ready to harvest! 💛
Blooming, brilliant guys, you always entertain, I wish people would get to know you more! You never fail to entertain, and we enjoy your history about the place, I can't wait for the next episode 😀 it's sure to be a banger xxx
Yes! I loved that! But you know what...also, as well, you could fill a bottle with those little blue and white stone wear little bits. They were ALL over I mean every inch as Craig got low with camera. One was perfect shape like a guitar pic. Oh the fun I could have! You are blessed!!!
Love to watch you guys wandering around and finding amazing treasures ❤ Also love the music in the background; it’s really calm and just perfect. I’m also on the beach, but in the Netherlands; always looking for some treasures also. 🎉 Enjoy your day, lots of love!😊
Thanks so much! So kind of you to say - the music is composed and performed by Craig, so it's really lovely to hear you are enjoying it :) Best of luck on your treasure hunt in the Netherlands!
Well, it wasn't easy, but I tried to keep up with all the "wees". I counted 45. I really thought there would be more after I caught 3 in a single sentence. 😂😂 I always look forward to your videos.
yes, call it the green or emerald project - never known Nicole to show sheer excitement over a bottle stopper. Your t pot tip one was great (also commented on)
If only we could find a talking scarecrow... Hmmm! No, bad idea, and I'm not sure I'd find a turnip the size of my noggin! lol Oh! Bottle stoppers - we found a fair few the other day and I played around with my collective nouns to see what seemed to fit! :D I'm sure we've found bottle stoppers like that at the beach before... It may have been the excitement of a new beach - not far from another, but this one really did pave the path in emerald green! :D Many, many thanks for your comments, best wishes, Nicole & Craig xo
All shores,be they river, stream,or ocean, they gift us a song. The moving water song. We make a humble, heartfelt, sincere effort to answer that song,in kind. We,sadly, being dirtwalkers, sing back ‘slush, glop, tromp.” But it’s okay! That sound of sand, soil, mud beneath our feet, those minerals act as translators to the water,it hears us,as we hear it,perhaps more so. Definitely more so,as we ignore watervoice all to often, which is constantly asking for help😞
Lovely sentiments Charles! We love listening to the sound of the waves, the sea gulls and pebbles getting dragged along the shores...and of course help the Sea by collecting plastics x
* That beach also had the size stones for Shadow Box Pictures.. I would have been filling sandwich bags full of Clothing-like or other people related stones. LOL..Filling the bottle was nice, but your art is so fun, I would have loved to see that as well.. ~ You didn't pick up any Ceramic pieces either.. Sadly, When you pick up a Big Chunk of Green, You seem to Leave the Small green or frosted clear glass behind. That is a Loss when you could grab 3 instead of one..
Those shadow boxes with clothing lines sound lovely Leslye! We actually didn't see any pottery at this beach, just one piece... but I am sure there are pottery pieces there! And lots of emeralds for other hunters to find x
We have found some sea potatoes at the beach where we collected the coal - but they are extremely fragile, unlike other species of sea urchins! They feature in an older video - if you search for Pettycur it should come up :)
I've only just found your channel and I'm enjoying it immensely! Do you have an Etsy account for your "Beach in a Bottle"? I would Love to have one from Scotland. I'm from Florida, USA and our beaches here on my coast are mainly shells and sand. Rare to find the smooth stones or any sea glass.❤
Hi Cindy! A warm welcome to our channel - we are so happy to hear you are enjoying our videos! Thanks so much for asking - our Etsy shop is scottishmudlarking.Etsy.com 😃 Enjoy ! Nicole & Craig
