It´s really interesting what you explain about your fins. I would love to test one - once.... After years and years (actually now over more than 40 years of windsurfing) i collected and have >50 fins and still always try to tune my stuff. The fin is for me one of the most critical parts on windsurfing (but often less cared about). After all the testing i have chosen only a few, sometimes even really ugly and for sure old fins (short and thicker profil) to work the best for certain conditions. And i tried really crazy combinations. I always (even in rental equipment) use my own fins. And yes, there is a big difference with a really expensive slalom fin. So for me - first change your fin before changing board oder sailsize. I´m really looking forward to your next video....
Wow, that is very interesting to hear that you can ride a 33cm fin on a medium board and that sail size. May I ask you how much you weigh, please? I am mainly asking because I have a Futura 71 (109l) and I am struggling with the 38 cm stock fin (Drake) because I feel it's way too big for me (I am only 65 kg). So I am also trying to test smaller ones once the season starts... Also, which fin brand(s) did you use?
My fins, Wojtek Brzozowski POL-10 Fins. I weigh 95kg. You use way to long fin for your board and your weight. Also Drake is not the best choice. Fin is extremely important, if you will not spend at least 400 Euro on a fin you will not know it.
Moze czarujesz te finy i to Ci wychodzi. Chetnie kupie od Ciebie fina jak juz bedzie ta finalna konstrukcja a nie co chwila nowe wersje`:-) Pozdrawiam
What is the target group of your fins? Classic size for the 73 Isonic would be like 37 cm fin for 7.0-7.8. Never heard of a pro who used a 33 on this combo. What is the advantage of the supershort fin and what are the downsides of such small fins? Are they hard to control and not for the everydaysurfer? Are they for very light guys? Please enlighten me:o)
You have a lot of negative assumptions :) There is no target group. This fins are for me and my comfort and speed. I make some fins from time to time for my friends around the world but that's it. It is not a factory, I do those fins with my own hands using 36 years of experience as a pro windsurfer and 22 years of experience as a fin developer. It it extremely limited edition, not for everyone. If you want to know the physics behind my fins, watch my other videos.
@@wojtekbrzozowski relax buddy:0) No negative assumption at all. I was just curious due to the size I wouldn't expect. Therefore I asked. Thought maybe it's more for proriders, light riders, underpower conditions,...or anything like that. Didn't meant to attack your fin 🤙🏽
