You CAN get Dark Magic Pixies! there is an Armor turning alls companion dmg into dark magic. all hydras and pixies turn dark red and deal dark magic dmg
Yeah I hear ya on ideas, double knot and pixies kind of need a rebalancing, fl4k 2.0 is so strong on my own self farm stuff that it doesn’t matter which armor mod I use, I enjoy the soaked ones actually not swap and everything still melts (even without extra double knot). Been a lot of fun to swap and play around with stuff. Would love some spore warden builds that is strong from interactions without perfect/optimal gear. I feel it’s a strong class but lacks specifically on raid bosses (the maker) because no richo hits but with wrath of nature it should be able to do amazing things but most builds need near perfect optimal gear to take them down. A pixie build and non pixie build would be amazing if feasible.
I was grave/spell for the longest time, but recently I switched to grave/zerker. It can either be a crazy powerful cryo companion build or a stupidly strong dark magic build. Just a few item and AS swaps an it does it all.
That’s funny I did the opposite. I started off grave/zerker and changed to spell for over all consistency. I still capstone grave though, and if I could ever get a decent buffmeister with 2 charges I’ll lay off ambI-hex lol

For another build you might do, it would be a variant of FLAK 2.0 that relies on triple ice spikes with repeating cast and multiple charges ambihexed to proc executioner's blade instead of guns. Picking up a class mod with double knot allows you to put dark magic on the ice spikes if you want by holding a dark magic gun, but a live wire is better damage wise since it affects melee. I'm working on this now but am still farming gear. With what you have for gear you may be able to optimize it quickly.
I decided to not take the one point into spell cooldown and put mage armor but still left on glass cannon. I fell like that’s way better since u get the higher spell damage and still heal the shield and only lose the 4% cd
So how would you set up your character to focus boosting companion/pixie damage only? At 1:26 in the video you said you can set it up so to focus on boosting the damage pixies/companions but in the video you only really mentioned how to set up for spell damage or balanced damage between spells and pixies. I was hoping to get results similar or Mayhaps better than what you showed off on your stabbomancer/spellshot build.
You could try making abridged guides on a build that maximizes certain guns that have unique playstyles. I could see how that'd be fun to mess with that bouncing-rounds poison pistol.
Great video. You earned another sub! I really want to see a dark magic spell damage grave born build. So tired of pixies. I used this as a template on a brand spanking new 40, traded out companion damage stuff with spell damage and he's melting shit on chaos 35. And I'm not the best person when it comes to builds, so i know with proper specs it'll absolutely decimate. He's a blast so far. Thanks again! P s.- PLEASE make a grave born spell damage build. On PlayStation we can only assign 158 hero points but on your builds you have 181 hero points is that a mod, also I assume they make your builds quite a bit stronger then I can possibly make mine, just wondered if anyone else noticed this
At 2:49. So the class mod that converts all your companion damage to dark magic damage turns your pixies into dark magic pixies regardless of the element from what I have seen. The pixies turn from white to red, the bullets are red and the damage numbers I see the pixies procing are all red dark magic damage numbers. Am I missing something?
I’m not even entirely sure how or why but I was able to get my spell critical chance to 213%. Obviously extremely excessive but I at least found some humor in it.
@@alexknights3864 yea I’m pretty sure it’s a bug when you have Buffmeister equipped on your left-hand spell slot. That’s what I’m assuming anyway. Having it equipped in that slot does lower DPS slightly since you can’t shoot while casting your main damage spell but worth it when you don’t have to invest a single point in crit chance and you’ll still have 171%
@@DKSTANG I think so yea. It’s far more versatile and far less glass-cannon feeling. My build is a few points different in the skill tree for a little extra survivability
I really want a claw ringer stabo build focused on status damage and infinite dipping with contagion and triggering damage from storm smite kind of like a autobomber contagion I dunno seems fun
can you do the melee build using the live wire with 1 bullet in the chamber moxsy put a video out on it I'd enjoy seeing your perspective on that getting it really optimized looks like a good contender to out do pixies
and if you could optimize sry but moxsys newest build using speed and elements reminds me of bl3 ricochet witch recursion/ Amara driver builds from bl3 that could be really fun and even faster then pixies also could contend with pixies hope this helps would love to see your versions of theses two builds melee live wire / driver Amara speed builds thanks yours so awesome enjoying your builds and content

Hello, thank you for the build. Just wondering how much the nerf to Warped Paradigm has affected the build (50% -> 35% damage). Also if Smart Armor is working 100% of the time now. Cheers
These builds never work for me for some reason.. Same exact skill setup, got damage buffs on all gear and a impaling ice spike at 1.7k damage and still it takes 20 ice spikes to kill a skeleton at chaos level 27
Awesome video! So I more or less followed this build and while I haven't found as high level the gear its a similar build. But my question is this.. I followed this and did a chaos 30 run and was one shotting everything and took down knightmare with like 5 spikes. I went back to do my chaos 34 trial because wastard has been impossible. I went from one shotting standard enemies to just decent damage and wastard was a stalemate. The only thing I changed was I added a buffmeister in my secondary slot instead of another spell. I changed back and still just decent damage. So I went back to chaos 30 to grind for better gear and I'm no longer outputting the damage I was before at all. Any ideas?
Hi, mayb a dumb question but you have 4 weapons, but mostly use 1 or maybe 2. Do you still get the stat bonusses etc from the weapons you don't hold in your hand at the moment of casting/doing damage? Thanks!
I have a dark magic “gun spawns wings and shoots enemies” on a fear not and I get even better damage output than the pixies. They base off the same bonuses correct?
Just fyi that spreadsheet is either incorrect or just incomplete. Says on spell cast increase frost damage can only be rolled on melee weapons and I just rolled it on a gun. So hopefully there is an updated one I can find.
If I'm farming for gear in Chaos Chamber, should I farm on my highest Chaos Level (currently 28) or just level 20 (volatile drops) until I get to 35 for Primordial.
When farming the Spellshot/Stabbomancer (Trickster) class mod, is it best to spec into your previous build with that combo for increased likelyhood of getting Trickster class mods, or is it completely random? I was farming Kastor and got several Spellshot/Grave Warden mods, which was what I had spec-ed into, but did not want the class mods for.
I would like to ask that, I started with 3rd time with spell boy but where I get even legendaries to drop, I was using the ones I got from other playtroughs, on level 22 was first drop, this is worse that Bl2, cannot farm in lower levels, right, I do not have that class item
Anyone know the dedicated drop for farming buffmiesters? Because I seen it was zomboss but farmed her for like two hours with each run taking about 40 seconds and didn’t have a single one drop

damn its so sad this game had so much potential at first but damn. so many bugs and just horrible modifiers make it not even fun. damn really just wanted another fun borderlands game to play
What is up with the Delugeon? Did it only drop the first day from a higher level chums maybe? Over the past 2 days I killed that shark well over 300 times and looted about 150 legendaries, almost half of those were that Lethal Catch ring and tidebreaker spell...
Why did you say dark magic pixies aren’t in the game? I’ve had two dark magic whatnot pixies and a x2 dark magic fearnnot pixie. Idk why ur saying false stuff like that lol.
Y’all are mad dumb, there’s literally other builds on youtube were people are using them, I even have footage of me getting a dark magic whatnot pixie to drop the other night. They’re definitely real, but yet you guys are gonna keep listing to a guy who got called out for using modded spells lololol.
