Among the amazing thing of this video is at the very start of it ! The unique sound of good old dial up internet modem 💔 thanks Steve for making your video such amazing from the start till the end ✌🏻
BetaFPV's new FPV radio is amazing! LiteRadio 3 Pro works nicely even with that small display, though a little bigger display was going to be more welcomed! This upgrade makes the Radio line even better as, now, even modules can be attached to these FPV controllers for better experience! 15 hours battery life with a 2,000 mAh battery is just surprisingly good! It is surely going to be another great seller Controller in the FPV hobby as it is really good for a price range of
Do you know that I watch your videos to learn more about drones and English? Thank you for to concern about the quality of sound and pronunciation. Besides, the videos are enjoyable-good job and salute from Brazil.
I'm getting the Geprc Cinelog 25 or the Flywoo CineRace 20. Both in digital! 1) Which is the best ? 2) What is the best mid range goggle and controller? I know DJI. And I do like the shape of this controller being reviewed
Great radio, but beware the buttons are subpar. My arm/disarm binds and causes havoc. I had to shave button down. Should of went with tried and true toggle switch
I'm very upset. I just bought the Lite radio 3. it took two weeks for it to come in. I've only used a week and this product comes out. I would have just bought this if I had known that it was coming out. don't get me wrong I love the lite radio 3 so far, but some of the features this radio has I would also prefer. I sure wish betafpv would have given me a heads up or something or at least have given me an option to wait for this.
Me too but a little different.. I bought two jumper pro radios one for hard using and the other as a backup .. I guess this recent beta fpv radio is going to be one the top of my list in the near future ..
Good short introduction to this new controller Steve. Nice evolution but would need to come down a bit in price if it wants to compete favorably to the Radiomaster Zorro... Always good to have choices though !
How many years of college do you need to understand what all the initials mean and how to just understand this complicated toy? Is there a glossary that defines all the abbreviations? Really looks complicated.
Once you get into the RC hobby, every day then becomes a learning experience. Eventually your brain will become full of info and you can connect the dots and figure things out.
Do you, by any chance, have a model file for this radio you can share with me? Can’t get flying with my quad on this new radio. (Literadio 3 pro). Just something basic with arming switch, turtle mode, angle mode. lol thanks in advance!
I cant find the tools menu, can you please share, thank you. I am trying to bind the happymodles 2.4 slim elrs module and cant find the lua script in the menu, cheers
I really like the upgrades and seriously interested but does the 4 come out in 2 weeks. I have at least 4 radios that should have never been made or I should have waited🧐🤣
I had my first controller as the flysky i6x. Can this lite radio 3 pro become my first ELRS controller as i dont want to buy another elrs thin since its new, difficult and changing ?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I was looking through the browser and found this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jGjd3XTl7L4.html so thanks anyway :)
Can this be use on fixed wing aircraft? By the way base on all your drone review videos ,i brought a DJi Mini 2. Thanks for the important infor for all drones review.
Hop you are enjoying the Mini 2. Yes you can use this for RC planes, but just be aware that the number of switches may be limited & that the trim controls require an extra switch to be set. Basic planes would work fine.
Iflight and Betafpv both get an F when it comes to speakers. A ton of us depend on callouts for voltage, flight mode confirmations, and other telemetry. Speakers are small and cheap so no excuse.
Does anyone know if it's possible to flash a v1 to the internal ELRS of this controller? Axis Thor only boots v2 FYI. Thanks Captain, great video as usual.
I've read nothing but bad reviews on betafpv products lately. They keep releasing products that aren't ready for prime time. Quality control also seems to be a major issue. For just $40.00 more you can get a Zorro and I've never seen or experienced an issue with RadioMaster.
BETAFPV is a company that either releases something expensive or something low cost. The low cost items are the ones with issues due... to the low cost. Their low cost prices are hard to beat in many cases.
Thanks for the overview, great video as always. On paper the 3 Pro looks like a big improvement over the previous LiteRadio versions but I'm a little confused about what will fit in the external TX module bay. I understand it's Nano size, and BetaFPV says in their specs sheet that a bunch of protocols are supported, but apart from an external ELRS and TBS Crossfire in Nano size, will anything else fit? Hoping for a multi protocol external TX module like the JP4in1 so I could use my old receivers/whoops.
I'm old school so I like to use 4 in 1 radios and add on an ELRS module when needed or a CROSSFIRE module when needed. If most of your drones/planes are ELRS, then you'd probably do the opposite.
There is a model with the CC2500 chip in it, but that is not the same as a 4 in 1 chip, so you would be limited to FRSKY, FLYSKY, & D8, D16, etc. It may work with the EMAX Freestyle because EMAX normally uses a D8 or D16 receiver. But, I can't confirm this.
If you have the older Lite Radio 3, all should work 100%. Since you did not mention what the issue is with your radio or mention which model you had (ELRS or other), I'm guessing it could be just an issue with you not being familiar with such radios.
I’ve been flying camera drones for a few years but I’m a noob to the fpv drone scene, so here is my noob question. Can I use this controller with the Veyron 35? I’ve been trying to research it, but everywhere I look for they just give you vague answers. It seems that in order to get to the fpv hobby you need to know someone since all the videos tend to be vague, or maybe the info just goes over my head lol. But I just want to know the answer to that question. Thank you!
The answer is yes. You just need to order your Veyron 35 with a receiver in it that is compatible with the BetaFPV radio. Something simple like an FRSKY XM+ receiver.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 awesome!!!! Thank you very much for your knowledge and prompt response! I love your content btw, I have learned tons from you. Thank you!
That is a strange question. You are very new to the RC hobby world. Please understand that a radio of any type is designed to talk to specific RECEIVERS. This means the RECEIVER in an RC hobby product must be compatible with the radio. I have no idea what receivers are in the EACHINE planes so I have no idea if this radio is compatible.
I’m curious. How would you go about setting up and binding it to a tinyhawk? I want to get a new transmitter other than the default one and I’ve heard a lot of reviews on this one
My name is Clinton and I am General Contractor in Boston, Ma. I am to using drones. I recently bought a HS720g and after 4 flights it went on the fritz and landed in a pond. Most likely operator error. I want a drone to do roof inspections and would like to know what you would recommend somewhere in the $1200 range. I figured I started with a cheaper one for the reasoning of not being a good pilot but am now thinking that the cheaper one might be harder to control. Would appreciate your advice....thanks
This remote is designed for people with very little income. If you want a good remote that works with many things you'd start with a RADIOMASTER remote that is a 4 in 1 type.
Hello,😊 hope you are doing well, I need your help again😊, I have literadio 3 Pro, can I buy TBS-Crosfire Nano module, and use it, as I know in manual it said that supports a lot of Nano modules but ,i am little bit confused, please helm 😊
It depends. I don’t have this radio anymore so can’t check. Just see if you can select EXTERNAL TRANSMITTER when you setup a model in the receiver section. If you can, then see if you can select CRSF. If you can, then it means you can add a crossfire module.
Yo im a complete noob guys, i fly sims but took the plunge and got me a BETAFPV Lite Radio 3 Pro and the Meteor65 Pro. The drone wasnt configured properly by the company who makes these as when i first plugged it into betaflight i got a warning telling me my motors are disabled and i needed to apply the DSHOT350 setting in motors myself lol. How on earth do i bind this controller to my drone?? Where do i do it guys its really winding me up and to top it off im having Internet problems so cannot update the controller using opentx companion and I keep getting an error telling Failed to flash or some nonsense, its apparently my cables, ive installed the vcom drivers as instructed by some other yputube dude and the error persists, all i wanna do is update the drone and controller to its latest firmware and bind it and fly it lol any tips tricks advice etc please let me know 🙃
