I absolutely love the Bisyodo Long series for the aesthetics, variety of brush shapes, and variety of hair types. The only negative I find is whatever the black dye does to their dyed saikoho bristles. I wish they would either leave them undyed, or use a dye that doesn’t process them in the same way. It makes them feel kind of synthetic, or overly processed, or… something.
I couldn't have said it any better! They are lovely! I have only tried a few of the dyed goat hair brushes and you are right the undyed is better. I wish they made the undyed travel brushes in full size handles too. Thank you for watching!!
I adore this series! I have several brushes and they are all amazing! Exquisite quality but the price is not extortionate. I'm really considering getting the powder brush. I would have liked to see it next to the Niji Pro rather than the Jumbo Bronzer, though, since I feel those two shapes are a lot more comparable and this brush is a lot cheaper. As for the flat top brush, the closest one I can think of is the Chikuhodo Z-3 (except it's grey squirrel, obvioulsy). I also think the cream eye shadow one is very close to the Suqqu F, which is now synthetic. And the tanuki one reminds me of the Rephr 33.
Hi!! I will try to take some picture of it next to the Niji Pro - I agree it is a great comparison option but at the time of filming I couldn't find it. Well I still can't find it but once I do I will have to take some pictures. May I ask where you are located? For me the Niji and Bisyodo powder brush cost about the same but I am based in the USA. Thank you for the other size comparison ideas!
Thank you for the great descriptions, demos, and comparisons! I now have a couple of these in my cart. Shipping fee is the only thing holding me back as I just purchased from Fude Beauty last week, lol.
Hi Joanne, on the contrary thank you for watching and for your very kind comment!! It made my day! I am so happy to hear you found it helpful. Bisyodo brushes are great and I hope you love them if you decide to purchase. Thank you again!!! ❤
i might need to pickup, the eye brushes with the mixed hairs at some stage this year. love seeing you demo the application strength and such detail analysis of the hair and properties. thank you
Of course!! Thank you so much for your kind feedback! I thought the product demos might be helpful for these unique hair mixes. I think you would enjoy the two pine squirrel hair mix eye brushes. Thank you again!!❤
Such a good video - thank you. The comparisons are interesting, and the swatch demos very useful. The B-ES-10 looks so cute! Your appreciation of this brand and these brushes comes across clearly. 😊
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind feedback!! ❤ I greatly appreciate it and so happy to hear that you found it useful!! Thank you thank you!
Thank you for this amazing video. I have their newest powder brush and I agree that it’s amazing. It feels substantial in my hand. Great quality and weight to it
Thank you for your very kind feedback ❤! I am glad to hear you are enjoying it too. It's lovely and I can't do it justice, needs to be experienced in person :)
Great review! Thanks for the info. Any extra opinion on the comcealer brush? Would you say its similar to a finger tip application..considering buying but not sure. Thank you :-)
Hi! Thank you so much for you kind feedback. I really appreciate it! ❤ Yes of course, but could you please let me know which concealer brush? The B-TC-01 tapping concealer one? I would say you can get a finger-tip application outcome but you will need to use a different technique of tapping in the product first. The brush is firm enough to press in the product a bit first and I find that works best to do before blending. Let me know if you have any questions!
