NEW BlueParrott M300-XT Bluetooth Headset Review - LIVE MIC & SPEAKER TEST 

I purchased the M300-XT after seeing the MIC test showing how it blocks the mixer noise completely. However was very disappointed with the unit I purchased where the background noise is NOT BLOCKED at all! Tested with an air conditioner 3 feet from me and it sounds in the recording with no reduction what so ever. Compared to a non cancelling headset, sounds the same. Very disappointed! What a difference from the test in this review and my test!

Many vendors are cheaper still. I got mine shipped total for $68USD

Hi Michael, you should be covered under the 1 year warranty. There's no other switch that you haven't already tried we'd know about to get the mic working. Sounds like a defective mic.

Same thing happened to my m300xt!!!

When a call comes in on your cell phone, the parrott button should answer/end your calls. Is that not happening?

Hi Jeremiah, they're two entirely different type of headsets. The mic quality and noise cancellation of the M300-XT is nowhere near as good as the b450-xt unfortunately.

Sadly it isn’t that loud, I’m returning it today because of that, it’s like u want more volume to hear better but that’s it.. the other side they said they hear me like if I had microphone up(you know ).. It may works great for office tho.

Doesn't come close to 450. If your friend is using the M 300 and you're using the 450 every piece of crap that makes a noise in the background will make you go deaf on the other side. 300 is the biggest waste of money and the most worthless headset blue parrot has ever made.

Hi Daemian, you should be able to if you have enough room to get the earpiece on with the helmet, but we haven't had tested or confirmed this with a customer.

Just to let you know, fits perfectly, item is super comfortable, anc cancels all surrounding traffic noise, my bike engine noise, surprisingly well. Due to my job, I need to be on the road, and be on call, 10 hours, so another plus for this item, 14 hrs standby is perfect for my needs. Lastly, microphone is loud and clear, this I have been told by, clients and customers. I have only had this item less than a week, so far so good, if you don't mind, I will use for 3 months and post a 3 month item review. Let's call it, Out of the box 😁

Sorry to hear the M300-XT didn't live up to expectations. We've heard mixed review with some saying it works great for mic noise cancellation and others who say the opposite.

@@ushalit I agree 100%. If you look throughout the comments that's where I'm basing the information of hearing mixed reviews. Our microphone tests are raw and unedited. We plug it in or pair it up to a computer, press record and let you all decide the result, so it makes it hard to know why you didn't have the same experience as what our video shows. We're always open to feedback or suggestions to improve.

I'm not a trucker, but I can tell you Blueparrott also failed the office workers alike. The sound is awful, and you have to turn the volume all the way up to 100% in order to be able to hear something, and still get poor sound, worse that cheaper options. And the mic simply will register a faint version of your voice. A complete disappointment. The voice prompts by the headset are the only clear and crisp sounds you'll get from this headset.

@@jorge.urreta yes, I as well was very disappointed. So much that I went back to the old over the head style and a different brand all together. I have never seen Blueparrott put out such unsatisfactory work. I have been driving for a little over 6 years. Always had blueparrott. But this one turned me totally off.

Try looking into bone condition head phone it's something new I've seen at lives truck stop I might give them a try . A few guys at the port say they love them but I think it's some type of new technology.

We connect the headsets, play the background noises and hit record. So, it must be!

@@epiciniumguild8564 Good point. This was an older video that we were trying to figure out how we can best share the audio through a video. We have since learned and no longer do this on newer videos.

Hi Aaron, is there another headset you tested that's worked better for you? Maybe the B450-XT would be a better fit. Although not an earpiece style, it should block out a lot more noise.
