I am kind of obsessed with the haus labs blush balms even though I didn’t think I’d like them at first. I have pomelo and tangelo and I am trying sooo hard to restrain myself from getting more, the two I have are just so pretty and honestly unique in my collection at least. especially tangelo, soooo pigmented & dreamy, I was scared of orange blush for so long but the undertones in tangelo are giving me juicy blood orange universally flattering deliciousness and now I looove a monochromatic orange look for summer! and of course it looks amAzing on you too Alicia!
Hey Adrian! Agreed, Tangelo took me by surprise. I was pleasantly surprised by how the color blended, and as you described, took on more of a blood orange hue versus crayola orange. It’s sophisticated and devastatingly perfect for the season 😮💨
The Haus Labs are definitely too pigmented for a ghost like me and I'm in love with the Pat McGrath Labs ones, I find them just perfect 💕 Thank you for your video 🙏
I still haven't even tried the DM blush balm Jublie has been on my list forever to try and now that PML stick in the shade u got is to I like the sun kissed bronzy kinda blushes. I haven't tried much from DM just the primer now that I think of it , I need to dabble some more with her brand . Every time I watch your channel I am buying or adding to the list 😂
I was thinking of trying the lilac blush and it looks beautiful in your skin and so soft and natural. I am getting it. I love orange, but I have so many orange blushes lol
When you swatched tangelo, I was like “Ohhhh no!! 🫣” Then you put it on!! I am in love with this color. I wasn’t going to buy any more makeup for a bit… but it’s soooo gorgeous! I’ve gotta have it!
Gosh darn it! I commented on the tangelo, then watched the rest of your video and the more I looked at you the more I liked the lilac!!! Now I’m gonna have to buy both!!! Thanks a lot 💸
HIII! BLUSH! BLUSH! BLUSH! I have been major into blush my glasses are lightly tinted so I have to go extra hard on colour for something to have impact so it's just easy to add on the cheeks. I love the lowlight because any of my blushes can be glowy. You are correct about the oil-fighting ingredient. It makes my blush stay on. My face likes to eat blush
Hi Alicia, I enjoyed watching this video, the Haus Labs blush sticks are more what I would go for, simply for how more pigmented they compared to Pat McGrath Labs ones. Love Katherine xoxo
I have Unforgettable from Danessa Myricks and really like it. I'm Light and it's a radiant blush on me. I have her Blurring Balm in Translucent (thank you Lexi Jong!) and it is such a problem solver! I hate looking powdery, particularly in summer. But I have an oily T Zone and need mattifying. This is my new Holy Grail. Just the tiniest bit on nose, chin and forehead and I'm mattified all day. And it works over everything. So I'm looking for more great products from her. Thanks for the video!💜
Yes! The universal blurring balm is of one the industry most innovative products. No wonder they can keep it in stock! I keep forgetting to try her water serum, which is formulated to mimic the balm.
@@aliciaarcher Oh! I hadn't heard about that. But upsalite is a wonder ingredient. I haven't tried her regular blushes yet either. But anything with that ingredient stays put and is non reactive. I may get one of her palettes too. They look amazing on you!
I’m curious about how the low lighter compares to the rare beauty glowy blushes. I got the peach one, and I feel like the color and slight color shift and shine are very similar?
I have Roseacia, and most blushes make me look redder. What color will not do this to me? I have very light skin(Northern European), and the Roseacia makes me look quite strange.
I'm just another subscriber, but I'm Light (Northern European too) and have rosacea. But I hate a heavy makeup look. I'm still using very light foundations and tinted moisturizers and there are a couple of things you can try. One is Complexion Touch by Chanel. I wear B20, but they have even lighter colors. However, for covering redness, a less light color can be better. I don't use it on my entire face. But it will cover red areas by lightly bouncing the included brush on the red areas then blending. It works surprisingly well. The other product I use is a Moisturizer that has a tint vs. Tinted Moisturizer. It's made by Perricone MD and is called Face Finishing and Firming Tinted Moisturizer. It doesn't come in colors because it actually oxidizes on your skin for a custom color. It is super lightweight and has SPF 30. It oxidizes into a warm color and seems to neutralize my redness. I buy that from their website. They have sales several times a year for 20-30% off. They also have some great anti-aging products if you're into that. Good luck!
I don’t 🤷🏽♀️ I’ll wear it under makeup, but don’t see a reason to wear it morning and night anymore. Although, you can consider my lye based soap and Vaseline as my skincare routine 🫣🤣
@@aliciaarcher lol I forget what u said ur reason was tho. Not into the clear glass skin look anymore ? Like sometimes I do go rogue & worry free but then my pores & texture be like girl we will crash ur party and bring dullness w/ us.😭😭 but tbh im mainly worried for long term & aging skin
