BMW iX Review: Electrifying Luxury with a Bold Face
The BMW iX represents the Bavarian automaker's vision for the future of electric luxury SUVs. This striking vehicle combines cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and a controversial design that's sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
Powertrain and Performance
The iX is available in three flavors: the entry-level xDrive40 (326 hp), the more powerful xDrive50 (523 hp), and the range-topping M60 (619 hp). While the iX offers generous passenger space, its 500-liter cargo capacity falls short of some competitors. However, folding the rear seats expands the space to a cavernous 1,750 liters. The lack of a frunk (front trunk) is a minor disappointment in this segment.
