I smelled Lancôme one on paper the other day and didn’t HATE it (my nose must be changing a little) but Luminous chokes me out. Something about it - powder? A mixture of really sweet and patchouli? I don’t know. It’s not a dupe for Flowerbomb? I don’t like that one either
I love that they did this but it does prove something I said a while ago if they can do this they can dupe themselves and bring back those scents that I've been mentioning and that other people have been mentioning they had one called Dulce Berry Venice dolce Berry I think it smells so good
I’m obsessed with Covered in Roses. I had to get it home and put it on to completely fall in love. I don’t own Delina, but hopefully I will someday. I’m probably going to need multiple backups of Covered in Roses since I’ve been wearing it pretty much nonstop for the last week. I just wish they would’ve released some matching lotions for these!
I am glad I was not the only one that reacted to covered in roses that way. I was so excited to smell it and when I did...oh no! It was sharp and herbal and tart and I was like, "what is this?" I made up my mind and left it in the store. I went to another store and I kept getting wafts of this beautiful sweet jammy rose smell and was surprised it was covered in roses. I did not go back to get it because I am not paying that price, but once we get another body care sale that will be first on my list.
Floral Fantasy is probably one of the best in the line. I’ve had it on for two days and it’s so strong, so beautiful. I think Luminous smells horrible. It reminds me of old powdery Avon perfume. I’ve tried so hard to like it but I just don’t. I let my husband smell it and he made a face and said it smelled like an old woman. I know there are people who love it and people like me who really dislike it. Most reviews have been extremely favorable to Floral Fantasy. Your review is very surprising. I’m wondering if maybe you got a bad batch. It happens. I have a bottle of Flower Bomb and it’s almost identical. My mist is deep and rich, I was actually surprised with how beautiful it was. 🤷🏻♀️ My favorites from the line are Viva Vanilla, Floral Fantasy, Pink Obsessed, Oh Cherry, Covered in Roses and If You Musk. I’m also completely in love with First Sight from the Wedding Collection. I actually agree with you on the Oh Cherry. I think it is a softer cherry and not as sharp as the Tom Ford, I actually like it better. Oh Cherry is very pretty. I layered it with my newest Black Opium Over Red.
From what I’ve seen viva vanilla is either mod vanilla or vanilla vice. I dont think I’ll keep mine its a bit too heavy and i wish it had more of a vanilla bean smell.
I got them all except Musk since I already have I am a Musk by Fine’ry which I love. They are so good I might get it anyway! My fave is Covered in Roses. Glad I got two. I got two On the Horizons so I could gift my sis who’s into aquatics. The Viva Vanilla is better than I expected ❤! The Santal will be saved for winter. They showed out with these strong scents! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ #thelonely10
Ms.Shaughnessy, I feel that people would be upset over them making the dupe collection, because they fear this changes the direction the company is taking from here on out. I have heard others worry that this means they will not be the original, nostalgic B&BW they have known and loved for decades.
I agree of course they have been duping for a while. I guess them making it an official collection worries customers that the company will change into something less original altogether. Anyway, thank you for this lovely review before the sale coming up. ❤
Hey girl. I said the same exact thing you said they've been duping popular perfumes. Examples In the Stars, Fall in Bloom, Into the Night, You're tje One the list goes on. I sampled the new ones too. I plan on getting Oh Cherry & Pink Obsessed during the body care sale next weekend. I think its a marketing thing too, they see their customers are venturing out to Finery and Mixed Bar.

For me, all I got from Viva Vanilla was the plum. Now if I had let it sit, I might have eventually gotten the vanilla, but the plum was so strong and I hated it so much that I couldn't keep smelling it.
I love Floral Fantasy…it’s definitely a pretty floral to my floral scent loving sniffer! I only picked up two from the collection but with space limitations I’m fine with that. I’m wearing Whipped Rose and Vanilla today. Part of it is in my use it up basket currently so that’s a need.

I ordered Covered in Roses, If You Musk, Oh Cherry, Pink Obsessed & Viva Vanilla. I returned them all today, except for Pink Obsessed. The roses scent made my head hurt and the rest were not my vibe. I exchanged them for Sweetheart Cherry, Bridgerton, Butterfly & Pink Pineapple Sunrise. I loved all of them and am so happy with the new fragrances!

I felt the same way about Covered in Roses. I’m still holding on to it because I plan to layer it with Delina Exclusif. I can’t see myself wearing it alone, too pungent.
I haven’t had a chance to smell any of these yet. I did skip the $5.50 sale because I was being cheap😭 I’m hoping for a better sale soon, more like $4.95😩. I know I won’t be getting covered in Roses because I don’t like Delina and Oh Cherry, especially if it’s that sticky sweet syrupy scent.

I actually don’t like the original Delina …. I have smelled it multiple times at Saks and I just hated it however, I love covered in roses something about it is just sweeter and a bit jammier. I loveeee it .
I get Mon Paris from Floral Fantasy. I only got Viva Vanilla, Pink Obsessed and Oh Cherry 💕 I’m here for those 😊 viva vanilla is vanilla vice. And spray that pink obsessed next to Donna. Man to my nose they were identical 😍 very happy with them
Is it me or gingham glow smells similar to getaway? Like I smelled getaway from my sister in law cause she had it and when I smelled my gingham glow I was like idk if my nose is messed up but to me it smells every close to it 😳🤔
Me too! I prefer sniffing the shower gels in store because i can barely smell the body mists since they get swallowed up by all the other smells in there.
Love that they did these. I wish I had a lotion or cream and shower gel to go with perfume that I have 😢. But glad they gave us these. I love pink obsessed to me it smells like prada paradox intense.
I can’t wait to get my Viva Vanilla in the mail! I’ve heard so many things. Some people said Eilish, some said Vanilla 28, some said Vanilla Vice while others said Mod Vanilla (because of the plum note). I will be okay with any of them. So I can’t wait! I’m so mad that I didn’t get Petal Parade. If I would’ve known it was similar to Paradoxe I would’ve ordered one. Some people said Good Girl (but I already have Dahlia so i didn’t need another one) and others said it smelled like My Way and I don’t like My Way at all. I didn’t hear the Paradoxe comparisons until after I put in my order. 🤦🏽♀️
Floral Fantasy is more comparable to YSL Mon Paris in my opinion. I reviewed Floral Fantasy and compared it to Flowerbomb and YSL Mon Paris in real time in a video on my channel, the dry down of YSL Mon Paris is spot on for Floral Fantasy. I felt similar that Floral Fantasy could be reminiscent or a family relative of Flowerbomb, but Floral Fantasy is not a spot on dupe for it ☺
Correction - sorry - I can get it for $5.95. I won’t ever pay full price even if it’s WAY cheaper. But I know what you mean. 😭 I bought Santal Supreme at TJ Maxx and it’s nice- would mix well too. But I hate Santal 33. I’m glad I got Glossier You before it was watered down in Sephora, but it’s very peppery to me and almost too strong. I need something to tone it down. Is there a chance it’s duping Light Blue intense? I have that one and I know what you mean about sweetness. Viva Vanilla is Billie Eilish, which I love

I think Viva Vanilla smells like a combination of Vanilla 28 and Snif Vanilla Vice. I don’t get Eilish at all, I also don’t get Mod Vanilla. I’m a huge vanilla lover and own all of these, for me it’s not one certain fragrance. I really think Vanilla Vice and Vanilla 28 combined are the closest comparison. I love the scent and think it layers well with so many of my fragrances. I bought six bottles! Lol

While I’ve only owned Oriana by Parfums de Marly I do know what Delina smells like and you are not lying. When I first smelled covered in roses I thought it was a horrible dupe of Delina until I let it sit for a few minutes I smelled it again and it was SPOT on to Delina.. I felt the same about pink obsessed I was about to take it back but after it was on my skin for a few more minutes I began to really like pink obsessed it smells so good each time I smell it, I was not a fan of petal parade it kind of smells a little too mature
I picked up the pink (Donna dupe which I don’t really like Donna but this is softer so we’ll see), musk (glossier one), covered in roses, and vanilla (vanilla vice for sure which I actually returned vanilla vice after trying it out because it barely lasted so I’m happy to have a cheap dupe that probably will last just as long, ha!) on the sale the other night. When I went to pick up my order I smelled all of them and floral fantasy I will pick that up at the next sale (it smells like a softer Flowerbomb to me). I don’t think I’ll get the rest.
Yes girlfriend if you don't have the real stuff then yes you have to go with your second best I feel you girl I know how to read it between the lines I'm seeing your face expressions okay and I know exactly what you're saying okay but those people who cannot afford the real thing okay this line is good for you I also agree with you if you have a teenage daughter know if I had a teenage daughter know when I go and pay that kind of price $300 for some real perfume for her know will I buy the body bath and body work yes I would but me myself personally just like you I got the real thing too so therefore you know I'm going to go ahead and get some of those items okay on the 5th through the 7th yes I am because I believe they do smell nice some of them not all of them but some of them but like you I like the real thing.
I’m late to the party, but the only thing I’m upset about is that they didn’t come out with matching lotions for these mists. I think they smell great, but my skin eats perfume, so body mists don’t stand a chance. Gone wayyyy to quickly. Maybe if they see enough interest in the lotions they’ll release them at a later date. A girl can hope.
