We just finished Trumpet of the Swan, which my two bigs adored. From Lamplighter, I read Basil to my 8 year old son a year ago and it was impactful to both of us. Thanks for the book haul video!

I would add, you MUST read Tip Lewis and His Lamp. It’s is hands down my favorite (until my next shipment anyway 😆… every month it seems I have a new “best ever favorite”). It teaches about evangelism in an amazing way and makes you want to stay in the word!

I got rid of the Tv before we had kids but we’ve always had streaming!!! I just only allow certain videos!!! My youngest boy doesn’t watch it at the moment as he watch stuff I didn’t agree with!!! Basil sounds awesome!!! I love the idea of fireside readings!!! We are in the tropics but we sit round a fire on the beach!!! I love the story of Mary jones!!! We often discuss the differences between a head and heart klownege!!! Sorry I can’t spell!!!

Thank you for your videos. I love the content you share. Also thank you for the giveaway. So my son who is 7 has a favorite book. The Mouse and the Motorcycle. He loves it so much. My favorite book that I have read with my son this year has actually been the very first Boxcar Children book. We have actually read several of them and I just found the very first one. I enjoyed reading how their journey began.

Summer is the time I push the reading for my kids that is for sure (of course my oldest I never have to get her to read but to put books down and get her other work done 😂) Thanks for sharing this great book haul Shauna 💜

I was unfortunately never a reader growing up but one of my favorites is The Little Prince. It’s so deep. But that book you’re giving away sounds amazing. I want to read it!! Lamplighters is on my list of future read alouds!

As of late, my favorite book has been a pre-read for my almost 9 year old daughter, it's The Wild Robot. It was a quick and easy read, it was interesting and sweet. ❤

I can’t remember the name, but it was about a ship. We listened to it from our church library on Cd. It was amazing. It still keeps coming to mind at times…
