Hey guys, just wanted to say the support on this video has been absolutely WILD. As I’m writing this, this video has just over 4k views and not a SINGLE dislike which is rare. To be honest I contemplated editing out my “moment” but I decided against it and you guys have really blown me away with y’all’s feedback! It’s so awesome to see people who all love the same music and artists come together and embrace it! I hope you guys enjoyed the video and huge thank you for 6k subscribers!!! 🙏🏻🖤
@@SFutureReacts For me, this is their best stuff since Phobia....it even beats Dear Agony at some point. I didn't particualry like Ember because it was little bit too heavy for my taste. I like classic, melodic BB - which is exactly what the new song represents, hehe.
Dude I sobbed like a baby. As someone who struggles with mental health BB has ways been such an outlet for me, to have new music now, it’s overwhelming
Same. ❤ I've been a fan for 23 years and they have brought me through every pivotal moment in my adult life. They are amazing live if anyone gets the chance, go see them!
The sound works! The reason their songs pack a punch is because Ben pulls the lyrics from his soul! Almost always dark but with a growing thread of hope.
The tears you shed are understandable. I was the same. It’s that nostalgia and yearning for a time that will never be again. It feels like an extension of Dear Agony, in the best way possible.
Starset has a couple good songs, that’s it. Ben’s voice is vastly superior to the singer of Starset’s voice. Starset doesn’t hold a candle to Breaking Benjamin.
You are not alone!!! Emotional AF. Me, my wife, and my 8 year old daughter all cried. My wife and I are recovering alcoholics and BB hits so damn hard. We listen daily. My daughter lives and breathes BB, Starset, and Nothing More. We cannot wait for more!! ❤❤❤❤
Made me cry too, the "I still hear the call of life" line hit me like a train, to all those that struggle or have struggled with mental health, always look for that call of life and dont give up! Awesome song and awesome reaction man!
I know exactly what you mean brother! When I heard this song yesterday I couldn’t help but say “THAT is Breaking Benjamin right there.” It’s an absolute banger, can’t help but get emotional.
The first new Breaking Benny song in 5 years is a verified "when men cried" moment. Don't sweat it, man. If they got you through as many tough times as they have me, I would expect nothing less.
BB was also my gateway band! I still remember exactly where I was when I heard Simple Design. That chorus got me instantly. I told my brother "I didn't know how much I needed new BB". With them and Starset my life is complete. Thank you for getting a reaction up so soon! I have been waiting :) Also, never apologize for stopping. If I wanted to listen to the whole song I'd just go to the video. I'd much rather see you have a genuine reaction and need to pause.
I saw them this month on the 6th. First time seeing them freakin awesome but would have been great if this song was played. I remember playing roller coaster tycoon listening to Breath. Love this band I'm soooooo glad they're back
This song made me cry too and I was never the biggest fan. Took me back to a simpler time in life. I will never forget hearing Polyamorous in Run Like Hell for PS2. Brought me more into metal for sure. Beautiful song.
My favorite band of all time and I’ve been waiting so long for new music. This song made me feel like I was ascending. I also got teared up during the chorus. This band has also been my gateway into heavier music
Yoo that last chorus made me tear up so much. Such a beautiful masterpiece of a track man. Breaking Benjamin is also one of my favorite bands probably top 3 for sure for me. I pre-ordered their awaken sweatshirt to support them and this song cause it hits me. 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
The chorus got my eyes watering. I had no idea where I was but I went somewhere with the chorus. It's just such a needed and powerful feeling I needed right now.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that got emotional when that chorus came in. Felt like my inner child was healing from hearing Breaking Benjamin again. They were my favorite band growing up and was the gateway to all the deathcore and death metal I listen to today. Breaking Benjamin has always wrote emotion evoking, huge choruses and I'm glad to see that hasn't changed!
I've seen BB live a few times in the past 2 years; when they were support for Disturbed and this year from their headline tours. Their opener set for Disturbed and the first show of their headline tour in March was defo a little rough as far as the live vocals go, and Ben joked about it saying he wasnt in tour shape anymore. He had a lot of help on the vocals there. HOWEVER, we saw them again later in the summer/fall part of the tour in July and he was doing much more of the vocals live. So i think if people are judging his live vocals from before the latter part of this year, its not as indicative of his actual ability. When i saw them in 2009ish, he sounded very similar to the studio recordings. ANYWAY, sorry lol. Great reaction. I think a lot of us who grew up with them had similar visceral reactions to hearing this one. You were able to articulate how it felt really well. Subbing for more! 🫶
I feel you. This band is my biggest nostalgia beside Linkin Park from my teen years and I feel so much emotion when I hear those familiar sounds and melody choices
Its an amazing day to not only HEAR their new music but also SEE REACTIONS! Glad to see you were just as emotional as me! I needed them back! Such an amazing song! I cried too... I only cried to Dear Agony lol I was hit so hard.
I've been a BB fan from the beginning. This song is amazing. I'm so happy they finally had some time off the road to release a new song. Looking forward to more.
Hey man, I don't know if you'll see this, but I watch reaction videos like yours all the time and I have to say, you nailed the format. Don't apologize for pausing the video, that was a real raw moment and in my opinion, truly made this reaction hit for me. Well done my dude. Great reaction. Keep these up!
There music has given me so much hope and given me a place to put so many emotions and things in my life. I love them so much. This song spoke into my soul like nothing does
Yeah ive been listening to this song since last night, that chrous is actually incredible and nostalgic. It gave me the same feelings during the final chorus and I started tearing up too. Love your reactions bro! 😊🤘
I struggled for awhile in my early 20s and they kept me going for that reason you tranced out. It makes you self relect and have hope. Well most of the time, sometimes you want to punch somebody in the face lol
Brenjamin is one of those bands where I would be honestly upset if they changed their sound much. I felt like a kid again listening to this song. Diary of Jane was the song that got me into rock and metal and honestly changed my life because even as new metal comes out and affects me in many ways, I owe that all to them. The amount of people that have also been saved by this music, far outweighs whatever criticism people have for them sounding the same as well imo. Brenjamin, 3DG, and Linkin Park are imo the 3 greats that deserve to be remembered for generations.
When you find someone who has the same band that got you into hard rock and heavy metal as you 💯 👌 I will not bow is the song that started it all for me
Of course here for BB, but just wanted to say you're very well spoken and first time seeing a reaction video from you. Most of us here watch reactions just for that, your reactions. You do not need to apologize for pausing the song, we want to hear from you and what you feel. Feel free to pause more when you have comments, its hard to hear what you have to say while the song is still playing. Obviously its your channel and you do you, but just my two cents as someone who genuinely wants to see reactors' reactions. Thank you for your video! Rock on brother
Ay man I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, I know a lot of reaction viewers want reactors to pause when they have something to say but in my experience of being a reactor for over 3 years it seems the majority of viewers prefer no pausing which is understandable. I used to pause a lot more but I’ve grown to give my overall opinion after the song 🤷🏻♂️👍🏻
@@SFutureReacts fair enough i totally get it! Different strokes for different folks i spose. Attention spans and things. Anyway keep up the good work!
Bro I still cannot listen to dear agony without crying so I get it, Ben's singing is just next level, been a fan of BB since my teenage years (I'm 31 now) they never fucking miss! Cannot wait for the album 🔥
Modern metal needs to take notice and learn from BB. Modern metal has become so generic and it's nice to hear there's some bands out there still producing the music that got them famous. Love the reaction man, had a similar vibe listening to it for the first time!
This is what people were probably expecting from “San Quentin” by Nickelback. Good mix of traditional rock elements but with some drops and bends and a bit of angry vocals 😂 This guitar tone is a little tighter than their older stuff, and the drums are more crisp, but otherwise this is exactly what they used to sound like. When they hit those signature BB chord progressions, or Ben nails those signature vowel sounds, you get pulled back to 2012 instantly. I love this song and would be blessed to get another from them.
I never make comments, but I feel compelled to. Going through a really difficult breakup, and these few minutes made me feel alive again. I had the same trance-like experience when the chorus hit, made me feel like I transcended to a higher realm. Fuckin epic
If it weren't for Breaking Benjamin I would not care about music at all let alone having learned guitar. Now I play a baritone 7 string 🤣 I saw Ben and the boys in concert and it was honestly the most emotionally fulfilling experience I've had in my entire life.
Nothing new, nothing different. But Breaking Benjamin fans want more of what we've already gotten. So good. Hard not to get emotional with stuff like this.
I'd say Phobia is the best, so many great songs. Dear Agony and Ember are competing for 2nd place. If this song is any indication, the new album will be up there with those 3.
BB love is fantastic, but what your friend told you is only half true. I saw them earlier this year at Sonic Temple festival and he does a lot of the vocals, Aaron mostly doing backing vocals and the majority of the screams. Ben still does almost all of the cleans and harsh cleans. I would definitely recommend seeing them live if you can!
you said its just breaking ben...nothiing new nothing different...to some extent i agree but i also feel that everything in the sound and with the line up of the band that it sounds like old breaking benjamin but just evolved. good review
That’s fair! My statement wasn’t meant to be negative AT ALL. I was more so saying it in a good way, I’m glad nothing has drastically changed for the potential worse 🤘🏻🖤
@@SFutureReacts i hope you dont think i was saying that as you were being negitive... i was just saying my opinoin on the current state of breaking benjamin...again good review
I know EXACTLY what you mean when you say you went into a trance. This song is so perfect in every way and gives off some serious old school vibes. Straight up brought me back to my middle school days of playing Runescape with my friends.
