This is really a good system, I feel this should be used by every manufacturer, specially in HEAVY / MEDIUM SIZE trucks / every public transport carrier....and large size petrol/ diesel cars (like safari / xuv/ fortuner ) this helps in higher fuel economy and lesser real world population figures. TVS was also working on same technology for its 2 wheelers. The only difference was , they were trying for CAPACITORs in place of expensive LITHIUM BATTERY

Sir As usual you are right. Maruti should have reduced the price for SHVS they have removed. By removing they have indirectly raised the price. The cost of regenerative braking is also reduced. So a price cut of 1lac calculation is also correct. The positive side of story is SHVS is more or less gimmick rather than its use considering the price of 1lac. Also hybrid permission for CNG is not coming most probably. The gimmick given 4-5 years had tax benefit which has been removed since long. The cost of SHVS gimmick against CNG benefits is less hence Maruti took a bite of price hike by removing it. Smart move by Maruti and counter smart smart move by yourself. These leads to square 1 what know?😊

I booked brezza zxi plus in Dec 22. Just after 7 months the delivery is being offered to me without smarthhybrid. It means intentionally they kept me waiting to offer downgraded model. Now if you book any vehicle there is no surety what you'll get after 6 months.

Aisa mere saath 2 saal pahile Tata Tiago lete waqt hua tha. Meri pehli BS 6 XZ+ thi jismain Reverse Parking Sensors nikal diye the. Jab main PDI karne gaya toh muzhe pehle laga ki shayad thuki hui gaadi chipka rahe hain jismain bumper change kiya hain isiliye sensors nahi hain. Dealer khud shock ho gaya ki sensor nahi hain. But I took the delivery as they replaced it with Tyre inflator and I didn't feel it as a deal breaker.

Even though this has the mild hybrid system, from my experience, it is of no use, maybe a very very little. As it is the k15c engine they use in this one is quite weak.

Smart Hybrid was Removed by Maruti for all Manual Vehicles in early June 2023. Smart Hybrid is only available for Automatic Models. So if you've booked after May 2023, you would not get Smart Hybrid. Same happened with me also. Mine is ZXi+ 5MT.

the probable reason for removing smart hybrid - BREEZA has 1.5 lts petrol engine, which is above the 1.2 lts / 4m length norms for tax benifit . It already attracted higher tax rates then its rivals . in RECENT GST TAX structure change the tax rates have risen, this has made heavy impact on overall cost of breeza . So as to keep the cost down the company, MSL , has decided to remove the smart hybrid system.

Tax charges really don't matter, considering the ultimate, final price is paid by the customer, not by the manufacturer as the on-road price includes the tax price as well...

Maruti service center fooled me 4th service I did still mileage is max 10 in city rarely I go on highway that time 12.. Before every service they tell me after service it will improve.. I'm fed up its 2021 zxi AT petrol in 2 years run 16k km atleast 10k km 8 max mileage I got, fed up planning to sell now..i purchased from Hyd varun motors. Service also at varun motors, by cousin purchased Tata Nexon diesel for 9.5 lakhshe is getting 22 mileage and me purchased for 15 Lakhs what a waste of money. 😢😢😢

Yes... this is true... In Brezza they have removed the Hybrid feature from basic and mid variant and it is only applicable for top end trim. The dealer is genuine but the company has not informed this earlier. Thanks for sharing this with new users.

Kareeb 15 din pahle hamne jab Suzuki ki taraf se ye information suni, ham to shocked rah Gaye the kyunki isse mileage bhi drop hoga, Jo ki customer ke liye bahut bada issue hai, wo bhi price me bhi koi changement nahi kya. Hame laga tha ki sabhi Moto blogger ise jaroor highlight karenge, but kisi ne bhi ise criticise nahi kya. Manual se Mild Hybrid ko hatana matlab ise aur bhi mahnga banana hai.

When I purchased my new brezza zxi MT, the official brochure i got from maruti Suzuki claimed 19.89 KM/PL milage for ZXI MT where as after watching your video I checked today brochure where it shows 17.38 KM/PL milage. Please make video on this.

I had also booked the Breeza and happily waiting for it's delivery but suddenly finds that the Smart Hybrid feature has been silently removed by MSIL without any declaration from their part!! Wow, MSIL! When did you get so profit greedy that you'd stoop so low!! I'm really disappointed by this step and because of which, I'll be cancelling my Brezza booking. I won't even consider another MS SUV as an alternative. Bye, MSIL 😔😔👎👎

Maruti is cheating its customers because they removed hybrid system which costs around 1 lac . But they didn't reduce the price . A big cheating . I think many of its customers who planned and booked brezza will cancel their bookings.

Brezza is being sold under Maruti Arena. I am going to get my GV sigma today. 2 days back salesman told me that Maruti Nexa objected this feature in Brezza and due to this they removed it from Brezza.
