She really doesn't seem too broken since cc absolutely destroys her plus her blood frenzy can very easily put you in a sticky situation I think she just needs a team that can follow up on her engage
it doesnt help that nb3 keeps using W immediately in like every fight rather than saving it for when he needs the movement speed and/or attack speed for the lifesteal, he just uses it instantly and that basically locks him out of using his E, because then he will just cancel his W with it and waste it

her q is already a point and click stun, her e slows, and your w is just autos. she also most likely builds bork every game which has a slow already, so you’re probably better off just building on-hit ms items like cleaver or stride breaker if you really want a stronger slow
@@electerz4781I've been testing it and Serylda is actually ridiculously broken on her. It allows you to engage with W and save your Q until a little later, when your enemy starts to consider to run away, and only then you use your Q to hit some more in the Frenzy and just finally use your second W to chomp, deal a huge damage and heal a lot. Makes it almost literally impossible to disengage from her, specially because of the existence of that Q. Goredrinker + Serylda's + BorK together is super op on her, specially with Overheal, Legend:Bloodline and Revitalize on her runes which are ridiculously broken on her runes, specially Overheal. With Serylda's, if you combo her starting with W, holding a bit, then Q, then second W and only then finally ult if your enemy is just starting to get away from your reach, it is almost impossible to escape or dodge that ult which basically guarantees a kill. I even added an Axiom Arc to the build, added a Death's Dance and swapped my boots for a Dead Man's Plate late game. Got the easiest and quickest Penta of my life with that build... and I used to main Katarina and Akali before and after both their reworks.
Waste of item, Cleaver and that one item anyone with a decent amount of self heal buys should be good enough. BotRK would probably be a core item. BotRK and cleaver + her passive has some crazy synergy, a Q and 2 autos and you've practically removed a large chunk of anyone's armor, plus her armor shred isn't self but on the enemy so everyone can profit from it. Which is crazy if you're ganking for a AD assassin or ADC. Then you can build her with more sustain or a guardian angel + whatever lifeline item you need for engage yolos. I don't think there's going to be much point in building her outside of those, her kit literally locks her to be a melee attacker or an AP nuke.
Dragon to baron *is* the whole map. Thats the radius. Look at 12:50, you are standing near baron and it reaches dragon exactly. Its the whole map because diameter wise you have twice the distance (its still only 1 radius away from briar, but because you can launch it in either direction you effectively have the full diameter) of dragon to baron, so as long as you are standing in mid where the range isnt wasted by going off the map, its essentially global.

Briar drops tomorrow. So she should be playable in about a month. Two weeks for the standard permaban for being a new champ, then two more weeks for the people who have been wanting to play her to get their games in.
i wonder how this champ would work with a full life steal build? with a passive that heals you, that ought to be something? considering what i have seen right here, i think that this champ works better as a tank/bruiser that has its focus around sustain.
We need to take into account that she may not have been optimally build in this game. There is much more to her than what we see right now, but she definitely seems broken in the right hands. I can't remember other than ivern when a new champ was released but wasn't broken.
What made this match even worse for him is that caitlyn and ekko CC is usually really hard to hit but it's piss easy on briar because she walks in a straight line
Sunderer, steraks, cleaver and blade seems like really strong items. She wants some as then ad to scale her autos and all abilities and finally heath to not get one shot and to increase the value of the resist from ult.
Haven't seen anything related to Briar and the vid started with that TTS so I thought that was it's joke and was amazed at how Riot was wilding with it
i can imagine a bunch of people throwing the ult, missing the person they wanted, the ult hits an enemy who is in their fountain and they just fly to their death haha
You can press W after you ult and you need to if you want to do the 2nd part of the W(the bite) I also heard after ultimate you can press w to re-position but idk.😊

All the people already crying about her needing a nerf just need to get gud, adc main here myself and shes fine ult included, sure the range is huge but most apes wont be able to hit anything let alone snipe with full range just like with vex when she got released.
Plus as an ADC you get used to kitting even when farming, so the chances of getting hit are low Plus cc kills her so with a good support she won't be a problem, is like fighting a Yi
Her ultimate gives her a lot because she is a melee carry. Melee carries NEED cheat mechanics to work. Also another champion [Like Naffiri] who will never ever see competitive play.
She looks fun but I see very little skill expression for her. You will have to focus more on macro decisons and less on micro and skillshot dodging. Since you have no control of her for half the abilities. I can't tell if she will be good or not, also can't tell if she will be better or worse in low elo. I imagine she will get lots of changes after release. It's lame that they nerfed Yuumi to the ground yet make another champ similar to Yuumi and warwick. I'm excited to play her but not sure if she will fit well.
Yuumi literally doesn't play. You at least need to know when and how to engage with Briar because of available CC or else you will die in a millisecond
You Serious??? Her Self CC will get her killed very easily if you don't learn how to control it or use it within the right time. She can suicide under tower or get chain CCed with no issue whatsoever, which by itself makes her a hell of a lot harder to play for low elo players than anyone like Yuumi or Yi.
skill expression can be more than pressing the buttons in the right order. i like this macro focused champions, and i feel there will be a lot of skill involved in when to use W and ulti at the right times.
That tip message almost got me thing rito lost it with the voice line. Also it seems to me like she would be good mid with that ult range. And rito should take this and the next 6 Champs. Or just the next 7 and use the 7 deadly sins as the basis.
Her E shouldnt have a charge up, its useless as a pushing away ability, if an assassin jumps on you you have to stay still meaning j=your just straight dead.
@egfu2393 the ult would be nuts for top lane people just be afk farming and farming plates as fast as they can when you back, but free tp and 300 gold with her ulti
