Mandy, You are so talented; a natural artist!! Royal & Langnickel are a manufacturer of art supplies, mainly brushes for painting, I believe. They have several lines from the more economical to very expensive. It makes sense that they have branched into making brushes for makeup. The Moda line is by R&L, more budget friendly and still very nice brushes!
Your conversations to yourself make me laugh, and yes, I too, have those kind of conversations. Yes the bronzier(?) tone does temper the pink color. Love this look!!
That is such a fun look! I couldn't do that, but I like watching how you use colors to give me confidence to go into colors more. I really liked the pink and white look before the blue.
I like the way you did this - color for people who want something different but don't want a heavier layered, vibrant eyeshadow look. Looks very pretty.
One of my absolute favorite palettes. I use the colors a lot just on the outer part of the lid with a brown in the crease. Always works. This looks lovely on u!!!
I love this look on you, and that pop of color on the inner corner is everything! I remember when all I had was brown palettes and now I’m all about color.
I absolutely love this look for you! I tend more towards purple rather than pink but this look is gorgeous! That blue in the corner was the perfect choice! Great job! ❤️
I love when you wear colorful eye looks. One of my favs you ever did was one where you did a Blue eye look. Blue can be so pretty even in a subtle way. I often use it as my outer V to add colors like blue or purple and then I just shear them out a bit.
I think you did a fantastic job! I am super fair, and often look at those bold colors and say "nope". I didn't even think of a wash of barely there color, and the darker pink accent was perfect! I need to step up my use of color!
I really liked this--totally FUN! It's waaaay outside my norm but I think it would be perfect with a pink print sundress and sandals for a Summer party. You made the right decision about blush and lips.
I love this look, you did a great job. You are beautiful and this look is a great summer look. Thank you for going out of your comfort zone for us, I appreciate it. I would love for you to do an eyeshadow bingo? I love your adorable personality.
Oh my gosh Leah! You did a beautiful eye look! You did that! I think you should “play” more often. You know, I think this video is actually very helpful for people who want to do a little color, but don’t know how to incorporate it, and still “be them” as you said. I would have loved to see a little of that inner corner blue, just on the outer lower lash line to pull them together. But wow, seriously, so pretty!! I would totally wear that look. You’re the best girl. Hugs, Brenda 💄💄
I love the look Mandy! You’ve inspired me to use the bold colours in this palette. I love this blue but I was never brave enough to use it. tomorrow is the day 😀
Mandy - I adore your content and since I am one of your viewers who is over 40 - hell...over 50 -you always seem to get what I am looking for. Your techniques are perfect for me. What else from Juvia's place do you think is a is a must have??? and BTW 7 looks rocks!! I miss them.
I’m in the same age range as you! Woohoo! I’d recommend Juvia’s Place Warrior 1 & 2 palettes. They’re both beautiful neutrals but Warrior palette has gorgeous shimmer shadows. I prefer the mini masquerade palette because it has some beautiful duochromes.
As a woman in my fifties as well, I second the Warrior palette recommendation- it’s one of my favorites. I can’t speak to Warrior 2 as I don’t own it but the Saharan 2 is a good one if you like color. I just bought the mini Masquerade but haven’t really played with it yet. It’s nice that Mandi is providing some inspiration for it though😊
Loved this one!! You should DEFINITELY do more colorful looks. I'm definitely one who was screaming..MORE COLOR 😄 I haven't done pink and blue, but have done yellow/blue, and pink/purple/aqua. 😄🦋💖🦋
The masquerade mini was the first palette I bought since really getting into makeup. I really love it! Granted I wear a lot of bold and colorful makeup so that is my comfort zone. But your look was a very pretty and soft look!
LOVE this look!! Also love that you are polling here too... a lot of us are not on Insta and don’t want to be.... THANK YOU for another awesome video!!! 🤩
This kind of look is one of the main reasons I love your channel-you can take any eyeshadow colors and make them wearable for those of us who generally tend toward neutrals, but you don’t do it by only using colorful shadows as liner or something predictable like that. Nothing wrong with that, but I just appreciate your creativity in how you use color to achieve looks that are not overly bold, but also are clearly and visibly colorful. I’m so excited to see what palettes are in the running for the next 7 looks video!
Like my makeup collection, my brush collection is a mixed bag of drugstore and It Brushes for Ulta. I think you presented a very wearable, realistic way to war colorful makeup without going totally overboard.
Definitely a fan of branching into color! You said "I'm not comfortable going to the grocery store in this look," and I'm here thinking, "why, because it's so subtle?" haha
