*JUST AN FYI: The last Camaro rolled off the production line on Dec 14, 2023!!!* So, with that being said, one CANNOT merely "walk in and order one" because you would first have to source the new Camaro for them to modify.
@@duramaxdad The 2024 model year is the last one. Chevy/GM cited slow/slumping sales numbers AND Americans love for SUV’s as reasons for its demise. Sadly it’s going away again. Coupes are quickly becoming a thing of the past in this country.
@@Blownbbc496 According to GMAuthority website: Adding it all up, we find that GM produced a total of 1,335 units of the 2024 Chevy Camaro Collector Edition. Production of the 2024 Chevy Camaro kicked off at the GM Lansing Grand River plant in August of 2023, with the final example of the sixth-gen Camaro rolling off the line on December 14th, 2023. The exact same information was posted on Road & Track, Car and Driver, MotorTrend, MotorAuthority and numerous other websites, blogs and in various magazines.

Yenko is a tunner like Hennessey. If you blow the engine, you would have to send it back to the tuner to get it fixed. It probably doesn't hook up very well, so you can't really use all horsepower. The cost is probably over 100 grand.
The articles I read said they came with a full GM warranty. At least the ones a few years ago were. There was a dealer in Kentucky selling 900 hp (I think) ZL1 based YENKO's with full factory warranty in place.
Maybe they could get the rear exhaust tips from looking like they are wiggling around and not installed correctly with a vehicle that expensive!😳 But that white with blue stripping is something I can get behind it’s a nice little homage to the original version.
I have ordered a Stage III car, number 49 of 66 that will be produced. SVE told me that they ran out of suitable Camaros to build. I am looking at a late September delivery.
It's worth it if u Don't over drive it...the value will skyrocket eventually! Plus that's probably the sweetest stock motor developed by gm for a long time
Ridiculously expensive! Wait for the possible dealer markups. Plus, you're going to need alot more than just a high hp engine if you can't hook it up and the suspension & rest of driveline can't handle delivering the power to the asphalt. Makes the DEMON170 built from factory an awesome deal now that will always hold its value.
Try an know what your talking about first before commenting. This car is a yenko which is not only just power but they re did the entire car from ground up so it can handle the power they put into it. It also goes fast in more than just a straight line unlike the Devon 170. So for around the same amount of money you pay for a Demon 170, you can get this and enjoy how fast it is anywhere but just the drag strip.
please understand it’s not about the big hp numbers. It’s about the history and heritage of a yenco camaro, from the late 60’s when Don Yenco was building bad a$$ car. from the camaro , Chevelle and nova’s of the 60s and early 70’s
I see a problem already.!!!😂 the torque is bending the rear chassis. In the video you can watch it bend under a load.i wonder how long before the chassis bends to the point of destruction, and glass breaking occurs or chassis breaking occurs?¿?😂
A lot of negative comments on this Camaro. He's 100 percent right, if you don't like the price don't buy it. I think it's a sweet car, can't even come close to affording it but enjoy learning about it. People take things too personal when it comes to things they can't afford or don't agree on the value of it. Chill out and enjoy the video.
Sadly, these Camaros are underrated AF, plus they're way better than overrated Mustangs and Shelby's. and also GM made a big mistake pulling their plug.
who cares if you dont Like the WING or its NOT your taste , obviously Chevrolet knows a little more than you with a car with such H/P that can reach at hyper speeds the wing is needed for stability of the car in keeping it on the ground ! who cares if you Like it or not ! talk about the car not about what YOU like !
Only a Camaro enthusiast would understand the aura and intrigue of having a Yenko Camaro in their stable. If I was wealthy, I would buy this Camaro and turn it into a ZL1/1LE monster. TOTAL TRACK MONSTER!! Won't ever sell it, never garage it, just totally enjoy it.
Most people can't extract the potential of a 500 hp car. Unless you're drag racing I don't see the appeal, unless it's just about bragging rights for guys with deep pockets.
Kick out the cash to get the Stage III. Take it to your local DRAG STRIP. Have 3 to 4 cameras set up to take pictures & videos. You Tube it as well as other formats. And you’ll be overwhelmed by the amount of people interested to see the video.
@@blackpatriot3 Yeah, when I was in Frisco last, it looked like Beirut, full of illegal aliens and shitty drug addicts. That's way more important than freedom and responsibility and holding your leadershit accountable. 🤤
Not worth $180,000 to me. Personally I’d rather go purchase one of the many one owner Hellcat Challengers I see on the site with 20,000 or so miles for $67,000 CASH and keep the extra $113,000 to put towards a newer 6.7 H.O. Cummins Turbo Diesel 2500 4x4 one owner for $53,000 CASH and keep the $60,000 still left over to put towards a home.
If you want a New one, better do it now. The last Chevy Camaro unit rolled off the assembly line on December 14th, 2023. What they left at the dealerships from SVE is it.
Problem with these is 99.9% of the people out there will be like, “it’s just a Camaro”. Then they will say ,”how much?” Then they will walk away laughing.
The individual buying this would be very wealthy and probably already has a demon 170 and is adding this to the collection. This car is definitely a top 1% buyers vehicle. It's still a badass camaro and very rare.
I know one dealer that has 4 of them and they range from $170-250K. You can’t order one they were dealer allocated. I think only 100 of them were built? This car is not for us blue collar car guys lol
I just purchased a DSR performance 426 fully built engine with a Whipple makes 1000hp to the wheels on 93... I will be running e85 and it's costing me around $50k.... it's capable of 1400hp after I upgrade the transmission.... it's going in my 2020 redeye....
Im guessing it's the Warranty from Dealership sale why it might be so expensive incase they gotta fix something u already spent a good chunk of change 🤷♂️
So....."You just walk in, you order it, you walk out, you have a ..." I believe the process is more like, "You walk in, answer a STACK of questions, will your house and children to the dealer, SIGN your life away, walk out and wait for the call a year and a half later, and you MAY be able to pick it up next September of the following year." sort of deal.
Guy near me has one these monsters....with slicks it runs mid to high 7s at drag strip!! Nothing coming off dealers will touch these!! Absolute monsters! Fastest GM ever...fastest anything coming from a dealer..
I'm older 55 and I think it is AWESOME THAT THEY THINK OF US ENTHUSIASTS!! ALSO, FROM WHAT I SEE, THE CHARACTERISTICS OF IT THIS IS A REAL SOLID OFFERING, BUT THE PRICE IS TOO MUCH, LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE TODAY PART OF THE STIFF FU_K UP THE AAAZZZZZZZZ!! BUT IT IS GOOD TO SEE IT OFFERED, IF I HAD $$$$ TO BLOW, I WOULD GET IT, CAUSE IT IS BUILT TO LAST, BUT MINUS THE WING, ALL BLACK OR JUST A SOLID COLOR, NO STRIPES OR ANYTHING, A "SLEEPER CAR", TAKE IT OUT CERTAIN DAYS AND PRIVATELY HAVE FUN, ME AND MY SON AND OR BEST FRIEND, JUST RELAX AND MAYBE MESS WITH A FEW SUPER CARS RIDING AROUND SHOWING OFF...😅😂 ***HEY MAN BUT I THANK YOU FOR YOUR PASSION IN THIS AREA, I APPRECIATE YA🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏🤛👊🤜😉😉😊🤗✌️✌️✌️✌️
Why should we be forced to buy soulless EV sportscars, when EV's only begin to be "better for earth" after reaching 100k+ miles? That's when they finally emit less c02 vs. ICE when counting c02 & pollution from mining the minerals, making the batteries & generating electricity (of which 50-80% comes from coal, oil & gas anyway). Cause common sense & basic research shows that sports/super/hypercars are driven so little, that combined they only make-up 1/100th of 1% (0.013%) of ALL transportation emissions globally. Just 750,000 tons out of 7 BILLION TONS in total. (Meaning building batteries, just for the cars to sit.. is actually MORE polluting than ICE). So wtf gives Democrats the right to kill our passion & mandate EV's when the science/data is unclear & contradictory to begin with? And when EVEN IF C02 caused "global warming", ICE sportscars are literally a drop in the ocean? Vote Trump/republican to save gas powered sportscars
God that hood, color schemes & vinyl/badges are so hideous. Its clear some old 60y.o. guy designed it. Im a die hard 6th gen Camaro SS 1le/zl1 1le, & 5th gen z/28 fan. But these are pretty tacky & old-timey. Why cant we get some more extreme performance options like the Mustang GTD or new(ish) wide-body Shelby Super Snake?
When you consider the cost of a suppercar it's not far off. I own a 1LE and I like the wing, I think it's cool, just my opinion, I've seen guys stick the wing on any SS or an rs and it looks cheesy even on a ZL1 but i think it goes well with the 1le package. Iyd practically supercar, it's no Ferrari but its a really good car. Dealerships will probably order and mark them up another 50 grand. That's what happened with that challenge dragster thing, I'd rather have a Camaro, Camaro is more of sports car. The interior leaves alot to be desired but that's normally what you get when with a high-performance car
So now those who can afford them will be hogging up the roads that much more will all that extra monster power n torque for the street. Me driving down the E-Way 70 mph. New Camaro 1500 plus HP 1000 plus TQ blowing past in fast lane doing 230 + mph. WHAT DA HELL
The 1le Wing isn't ricey. American muscle cars and Nascar had it way before Enthusiast started bolting them to hatch backs. Pontiac GTO had it in the early seventies or late 60s, Dodge Daytona had them, Olds Cutlass had it, those are some a the particular models that are worth a fortune now... 89 Camaro RS had it too
