Ever since I bought a Q3, I get myself shooting more and more. Suddenly a fixed lens camera became my favourite. There’s something about the simplicity of the Leica, the lens, the colours and contrast of the raw files being so easy to edit, the Leica Fotos app being ridiculously good…really a mix of everything, summed up with its relatively compact body. The Qs are really special!
34 photos and I absolutely love your videos. You inspire me every time you upload a new video. Thanks to you that I started taking photos again and fell in love with street photography. I would even say that I got my current job because of your videos 🙈 so just a huge thank you
I enjoy the simplicity of the Leica menus/button layout and the tactile feel of a handbuilt product - it really does remove the distractions and lets you focus on the photography. I've tried so many cameras over the years - Nikon, Sony, Fuji - all great in their own right, but it's the well-thought through simplicity of the Leicas that makes the process of photography so enjoyable - and that's ultimately, as a hobbyist (i.e. not a pro earning money) is what I'm looking for.
That shot at 3:20 is incredible! Rented a Q2 a week ago (1st pro camera I’ve ever shot). And fell in love with the photos. Waiting for my Q2 Ghost 👻 edition to arrive tomorrow. Tried Fujifilm XT-5 for a week but found myself scrolling through filter options and interrupting my flow. Having the Q2 makes me want to go and shoot, can’t say that for the Fuji.
There are 34photos ! Lovely to see you went Hong Kong I will go this October, I’ve been doing photography to help companies advertise their services and product as work but also as a passion , so glad I met you multiple times in London! Would have been fun doing a vlog there
i follow u couple of years and in this video u capture the greatest shoots ever... throw in trash all of your gear, Leica or Panasonic Lumix with Leica lens is for u def!!
Q2 owner here. I'd recommend setting exposure compensation to -1. The camera can handle a boost to the shadows in post and it'll save your highlights 👍
Great video and shots! I also have a Q2 and love it for its portability, lens, the way In which the images are processed and of course the quality of the camera itself. When I have to take my Sony RX10 Mark IV for landscapes out of the country, I miss my Leica but don’t want to take two cameras. Also, like you pr camera strap. Please let me know brand or website link. Thank you.
The Temple shot was damn good and the edit too... After seeing that shot.. i am pretty sure.. you gonna love INDIA... Also the overall video has a dark moody edit i guess... it was good too(just some places it was very dark)
Of course! Sustainable fishing is totally fine. They catch and cook for themselves. The issue is industrial capitalism. It’s nice to see more tradition fishing / living. Thank you for taking the time to watch 🙏🏼
But how so not just the Fujifilm x100Vi it's cheaper and also feeling of real photography. Still yes i will also take the Q2 over the x100 but if it's about raw shooting feeling. And small / light camera it's a good other option.
I love the compactness of this camera! I've tried cosplaying it with my A7C2 and a Sony 20mm but didn't really get warm with the "tiny" focal length yet (not a really cool location tho so that might change C: ) Pls correct me if I'm wrong here but for me the audio of todays video seemed a bit quiet. Have fun everyone :)
I have protanopia (red colour blindness), but the colour grading on the video footage is making me feel even more colourblind for some reason. The photos all look fine though. Can't put my finger on why the video seems off to me.
There’s quite a few reds throughout the video so it might be that, I.e some of the bridges / lanterns / doors / shop fronts could be that I’ve used a warmer pallet as well instead of blue highlight tones I’m using orange. Could be a combination of all of the above. I’ll try to keep this in mind in the future but from my end the grade looks good. ❤
@@OpticalwanderI've never noticed an issue with your videos before. It's just really desaturated looking to me. It's probably a quirk of my own vision more than anything else.
Everything in the video is in focus. and that's better. blurry bokeh background sucks. you know how to go and shoot a video. Photos are not your purpose
@@Opticalwanderhe’s saying you’re better at shooting videos as opposed to shooting photos. Smh, he hates bokeh in photos. So apparently, you shooting photos on that camera makes everything in focus instead of having a blurry background is what he likes. I’m assuming he’s criticizing your photography skills 🤷♂️
@@FadedMindz210 but the video has a bokeh background when it focuses on the camera so it doesn’t make sense. So my point is. What they’re saying makes no sense. I don’t care too much if they don’t like the photos / or even the video. I can’t please everyone. 🫡
Can’t see what the fuss is about with these liecas and viewing your images confirms it , if you said these images were taken with a phone I wouldn’t disagree with you ..
You’re viewing them through RU-vid in all fairness the quality doesn’t always come across. The fuss is a combination of things build quality plus image quality etc. image guilty I agree I can take the same photos on my song a7iii which is 3x cheaper. But the whole package is what’s nice about it. Definitely not a need. Nobody needs a Leica. People want them. That’s the difference I think. I just love the camera and the feel / simplicity of it that’s it. It has a thicker form factor than the x100v that I also own so feels nicer in the hand, it also takes sharper images than the x100v but like I said above. Image quality isn’t why you buy a Leica. It’s the same conversation about watches. They all tell the same time. But some prefer one watch over another. This camera for me is a nice subtle travel camera I can use for smaller professional campaigns. Hope this helps 🙏🏼 Btw I agree my iPhone 15 pro max could definitely take all the photos I took in this video.
love ur viedeos Startert to shoot a little 3 weeks ago 34 Pictures @stefanraubold keep it up man love ur the night photography excuse my English please
