Thanks for taking us deep into the drying rooms and equipment/sharpening areas of the camp. Looks like you'll be a pilot soon, too. Always fun to watch, Bjarne.
bad weather better get your pan and do some prospecting or make a small sluice box with stuff laying around camp and run a bunch material in the creeks👍
Yes, that chopper is a KMax. Heavy lift utility helicopter with no Tail Rotor. Counter rotating blades instead. Worked with Kmax choppers setting lift towers for ski areas. When they get a heavy pic, sometimes they spew a little flame from the exhaust. Great Video, showing us around, thank you.
Almost got Got on the goose once going to camp..port engine grenaded on takeoff leaving Smith inlet..close call it was..But hey if life ain't dangerous there ain't no fun in it..great vids Bjarne..
Looks like it's going to be a lot better this shift . I like gold prospecting too . I built a high banker with a 1" monitor years ago converting my sluice . Works good, but I haven't used it in years . :(
Amazing views. Not sure if you have already but if you’re in the area of Lake Cowichan check it out. Beauty area and let me know so we can have a beer. Lake Cowichan is just west of Duncan. 😉
Comin from southern hills of Appalachia that’s one place I’ve longed to visit someday and love to get to fall some on coast as I’ve been tree man good while …when you gonna man up and pack the 3120….….….😉 Matt
I liked the tour of your new camp, do you sharpen your own chain? How about a go-pro video and explain how you do your chain, what angles etc. I saw you on video doing a file touch up leaning over a stump once. Also what do you use to remove pitch buildup on your saw.
Those vertical grinders are Simington 451C's cutting square ground chain ... cuts faster than round file chain. I bet you'd like it get some one to school you up on it.
I've run it for 35 years, can't beat it. Anyone who says it dulls faster either hasn't used it or or their putting beaks on their points. I average 70 trees to a chain sharpening and sharpen a loop 27 times before I toss it
Good on you Clint ... every few chains l make a "God chain" thats so sharp and cuts so quick l almost drop the saw in amazement ... keep up the square ground story ..l owe bucking billy ray for that ... only a couple of us that l know of down here in New Zealand using it ..could be more hopefully.
@@stihlnz I know exactly what you mean. Had the same happen for me as long as I've used the grinder. I had one last 4 days, finally felt sorry for the chain and changed it out.
