When you're doing 400-watt intervals on the trainer and wearing aero suits during racing. I don't think people really care what you wear during a 30 min photoshoot. IMO
Excited to see Lionel after the hour record and all the amazing E sports stuff, Cam Wurf after La Vuelta + INEOS, Frodeno doing what he seems to always do and everybody else all racing 2021. Should be fun to watch
The PTO race in Daytona will be EPIC. But as it's the only major race, with a stacked field, everyone will be bringing their A game. Looking forward to it. Can't wait ❗❗
That is a beautiful bike. Canyon is catching up to Specialized. That deep-section down tube with an integrated hydration system and a drinking tube secured with a magnet is essentially the same as my older-style Specialized Shiv's "Fuselage Hydration System". The older-style Shiv has been around at least since 2012. The older-style Shiv does not have a pocket in the frame for a spares kit, but an optional "Fuel Cell" with room for a spares kit was available that fitted the space between the seat tube and down tube just above the bottom bracket.
The "Beauty and the Beast" have more logic now! You're a Legend!!!! Thank you Lionel for inspiring this confidence and this attitude of "never give up"....
Definitely a leap forward regarding integrating everything into the frame including the refueling port for bottles. Can’t believe it took this long to come up with this. The kit to dial in position at the bars definitely sells this design. I’m sure the only problem will be finding which speed max is yours in the transition area since there will be a lot of them.
What's the deal with those giant loops at the end of his shoes? Doesn't seem to be too aero.... Nice touch with the Canyon-branded socks in the video ;)
"I am going to crrrrrrrrrush these guys on the bike!" rawr I heard the lion roar here :D Little edit : for sure it was a bit bold from Lionel but I mean I can totally relate to this feeling of being a superhuman on the verge of great thing when I get THE shoes or THE bike. But reality hits back quickly in general ^^ (oh there goes gravity); still it is nice feeling
@@rosslacey8555 Agreed. I think Lionel will need to have improved to close to ITU level to be within touching distance by T1. If he's over a minute or 3 behind it will be tough, I think.
When he said “I’m going to destroy these people”....and then the camera hits him......he realized he needed to dial it back a bit and all he managed to get out was “with all due respect”........and then the grin. He couldn’t help himself....I love to see that bulletproof confidence in full display. Challenge Daytona is the de facto Unified World Championship....man it’s going to be great. Those ITU guys, I think, will have the leg up, but don’t count out these long course guys.....they are just as stir crazy for a championship slugfest.
is it light enough to do one more mt LEMON!? :D would like to see that! :P would be epic day of training towrds Daytona as the times wouild be close to daytona , though max out.. hmm..
Hi Guys! Anyone knows at what saddle heigth Lionels bike is at? (Or hes leg length) I know he is 1m78 and this is a M frame. Reason is that i am ordering one and in doubt about the size. Thank you
the real story here is that Lionel is back in Tucson .. i read that as super cold/snowy at home in Canada, but is there confidence for some start to the '21 tri season?... nice bike btw, prolly will make grocery runs easy ;)
Is it true that the aerobar tilt is limited to max 6 degrees of tilt?? Surely not in 2020. So no high hands. Most of us need 20-30 degrees of tilt to achieve optimal aero.
