The Capital One Lounge at Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) opens on Sept 7. We were invited to the media preview day to review the lounge. Access the lounge by having a Venture X, Venture X Business, Spark Miles, or Venture card. If you don't have any of the cards, you can pay $65 to access the Capital One Lounge.

@@anthonyc8499 Yes and No. Capital One is super weird about who they approve for the Venture X. It’s kind of a hit or miss.. you could have an 850 credit score, few credit cards, and a long credit history and still get denied while someone with a 700 credit score and 14 credit cards would get approved. You kind of just have to test your luck when it comes to the Capital One Venture X.

@@anthonyc8499 to put it into perspective, you’d have a much better chance of getting the Amex Platinum with a 650 credit score and $50k/yr income.

Years ago, that was the airport lounge/restaurant. You would step down into it and there were steps to the outside and the old open air observation deck was on top of the roof under the control tower. Loved it up there.

I only hope that the lounges in the US start taking note of Capital One lounges' offerings. The US is so far behind many foreign lounge offerings. But maybe, just maybe, they will be forced to up their game and improve....I hope so. Thanks for a great video!! Cheers from Alaska!!

The new Cap One Dulles lounge is looking really nice! I plan to get the Venture X in the next year or so after adding the Chase Ink Cards so I'll have to check out it out, and get the Mystery Cheesy Peach 10/10 dish haha. Great video as always Sebby and great meeting you in Vegas!

I’ll be at the DFW lounge Friday, can’t wait!! Super excited to experience the IAD one. The C1 lounges really seem to take the U.S. lounge game to the next level. I hope they open DEN soon and hope they announce that more are coming!! I remember hearing they brought a unit in LV?? We’ll see… Probably unpopular opinion, but I’d be happy paying more on the AF if they had a bigger lounge footprint.

✈️The lounge looks great! Perfect if you have late checkout and you have a flight leaving in the evening. Get that last bit of exploration in in the morning, check out at 2PM, get to the airport @ 3, get through security and chill in the lounge until boarding.

✈️ This space looks sooo cool and I’m so glad it’s open now! These lounges are only getting better and better and now I need an excuse to go through IAD with my Venture X haha. Looks really good. Flying from IAD to Dublin in a couple of weeks so hoping the lounge might be open for general admission by then. Just got my Venture X card a few weeks back and loving all the perks. Seems to be a really good card for my level of travel.

It took forever for Capital One to get another lounge opened after the one in Dallas. I have never been to IAD airport but this Cap One lounge looks really nice. Hope to get to try it out at somepoint.

✈ would love if they kept the showers for IAD and future airports. the showers just make sense at an international airport especially one as busy as IAD (DCA and IAD are my airports). the showers were one of the main things i was looking forward to for the C1 lounge at IAD.

This kind of excited me even though this airport isn’t in my path of travel 😂. This lounge looks really nice and sleek and I honestly think fitness equipment would’ve been a bit overkill. I love working out, but I couldn’t imagine the need to do so in-between flights. ✈️ ✈️
