New Car Detail - Peugeot 3008 GT Line Premium! 

Wow watching your car wash was sooooooo relaxing to see. Peugeot would be so proud to see how much care you pay to this car.

New facelift version about to come out, can be ordered now but on the existing car the thing to know is there isn’t a ‘bad’ spec 3008 available in the UK. In France and other EU countries there is a lower spec level called ‘Access’ that doesn’t have the 8” centre multimedia display ... but not in U.K. All UK cars have the 12.3” i-Cockpit and 8” Infotainment display with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto & Mirrorlink. The obvious thing is to go for the highest spec you can afford but also go with the highest you’re happy to justify paying for .... it’s pointless paying many £ more for features you don’t want/need. If you can justify paying more for an Allure, GT Line, GT Line Premium or GT over entry level Active then great - if not the jump in spec from Active to Allure might be worth giving good consideration to pay for as it adds a lot, importantly it adds a lot of safety features. If you only want an Active, then you’re still getting a fantastic car with a great spec. Something to remember is that on every spec. the standard equipment is just that and options may have been added, such as Open & Go keyless or the Panoramic opening roof which is only standard on GT-Line Premium and GT. A common example of this being most Active spec cars have the 18” two tone wheels on them where the standard factory fit is 17” chrome alloys. The biggest jump in spec on the U.K. range is from the Active to Allure as it adds trim but importantly safety features. The jump from Allure to GT Line adds LED headlights and some nice bells and whistles, but nothing that’s going to keep you safer. LED headlights are nice and light up the road fantastically but the lights on the Active/Allure are more than good enough - having had a Jaguar X-Type I know what crap lights are (think tea lights). Active (spec includes). - 17” Alloy Wheels - 12.3” I-Cockpit and 8” Infotainment with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay - Automatic Dual-Zone Climate Control. - Automatic Emergency Braking - Driver Attention Alert System - Lane departure warning - Electric Parking Brake with Hill Assist - Rear parking sensors - Auto Lights/Wipers - Ambient blue lighting to connecting zone & head up instrument panel - Cloth interior Allure adds:- - Safety Plus Pack .. inc. front parking sensors, 180 deg. reversing camera, active lane assist, blind spot monitoring (indicated in wing mirrors), ‘active’ driver attention alert, ‘smart beam’ assistance that monitors road ahead using radar & camera in top of window. - 3D Touch Nav - live TomTom updates and Nav can be displayed on the 12.3” driver head up display inc. built in SIM for Peugeot Assist & auto emergency SOS which contacts emergency services with location on activation of airbags - Half Leather (faux) Seats - 18” two tone alloys - Chromatic rear view mirror (auto dims) - Cloth accents on dash and door card bits of trim - Ambient blue lighting to centre, door cards and footwells and cup holders and LED lighting to centre armrest storage - Chrome trim outside to lower front bumper & side bump strips - Lion (grey) lower bumper trim - Dark tinted glass to rear and tailgate GT Line adds:- - LED Headlights with LED scrolling indicators - includes different bumper & front grille setup to accommodate - Black roof & wing mirror caps (deletable option so a small minority may have chosen not to have) - Sport button which changes steering weight and throttle response (this is standard across all spec. with Automatic gearbox) - Chrome window weather strips. - Chrome (faux) tailpipes in rear bumper - I-Cockpit Amplify (adds air freshener module and modes for ‘mood’) GT Line Premium adds:- - Open & Go Keyless - Panoramic Glass Roof - includes longitudinal roof bars and interior blue ambient lighting on roof - Driver Multi Point massage function - Powered ‘smart’ tailgate - 19” or 19” ‘tall & thin’ two tone alloy wheels GT adds:- - Full Nappa Leather interior - Flared wheel arch trim - Adaptive Cruise control with Stop function - Visio 2 - 360 camera system and Park Assist (early GT’s didn’t have this as wasn’t available in U.K. at launch) - only available as 2.0L BlueHDI (180) Auto or Hybrid

whats the black panel that stretches near tailights like for cleaning, will it pick swirls up easily?

Can anybody ensure me about the diesel motor of 3008 model please. Been year and half i am driving peugeot 3008 manual 1.5 lt gtline 130 hp 2019 model. Some people gave me some negative comments about French cars. Now i am very much worried

Very smart! I have the 3008 GT Line Premium as well and just looking to see if I like this hydrofoam finish. I do. How is it applied? Via a bottle attached to the jet wash lance? Or by a spray bottle?
