Fab and Ell, pick up some fabric glue and you can repair your album cover. Be sure you are prepared to pay the cost of repairs and new battery for a electric car after the dealer coverage expires! Here in the USA we already know our electric grid would never be able to service electric cars and our homes and businesses.

Electric cars are not good! Charging stations are hard to find and a friend of ours went on a 4 hour trip that turned into 7 hours because they had to wait to charge up on their way.

If your car is a diesel if its cold when you press the start button you have to wait for the glow plug light to go out before the car will start Basically the glow plugs come on when it's cold and takes a few seconds for them to warm up before the car can start

Over here in 🇨🇦 electric cars batteries are dying quickly and they are very expensive to replace

@@fabandell I'm in northern Canada, and our little old Nissan leaf (all electric) has not had any issues even though it's kept out on the driveway even when we got a week of -40 to -50°C at night. Though we've never used charge stations (heard something about it weakening the battery), since trickle charging overnight in our driveway was all it has ever needed. It's actually the best vehicle we've ever had! 😊

We have had an electric car for 3 years and we love it, we have a MG ZS Exclusive. Its so precious experiencing their firsts and a snow day is a good one x

You are a joy to watch 😂 it is never ending ,I had 3 children under 5 my god I'm still recovering although they are grown 🤣🤣🤣 yep those terrible 2s 3s 4s 5s 6s 7s 8s ,,20s 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 only joking ,I would not change my children or my life loved every second min hour of everyday ,the years goo soo fast enjoy every precious day ,build your memories and when the time comes for them to fly the nest ,you can look back at your magical and very precious children ,❤

Honestly have a look at Tesla. I love mine. I initially wasn’t too keen on the look of them. But it’s grown on me. But it’s just such a lovely driving experience. The screen and lack of dash might take a bit of getting used to. However, the field of view when driving is unmatched. Get a test drive!

Twin parent hack every time we need to get in the car if they line up by the door they get to pick a snack for the car( these are the special treats not the normal daily snacks ) my girls are 4 now and it still works. Also helps that when they get older it can become a game of who gets to the door first and they get first dibs of car snacks

The skoda enyaq suv is worth a look. We hunted for a large suv in 2018 not electric, we visited every dealer ended up with skoda kodiaq now on second one. When my husband suggested skoda I gave him a look but when we saw it i was shocked it was best suv we had seen. The electric enyaq has a great look.

If your happy to drive a little from where you are some good rainy days out are Abergavenny, they have a good soft play called Kingdom Come and Ross-on-Wye have a place called Little Panda’s which is fab for the boys age too, my daughter is a couple of days older than them and likes both!

My husband has been trying to persuade me to agree to an electric car for years. First he wanted a Tesla and now he wants a Skoda Enyaq. They're all ugly so I'm still not on board haha

Hi there my fave you tube family🥰, I’m a bit late commenting this week as I had to watch it in 2 halves as I was so tired I had to go to sleep first time!! (Joys of fibromyalgia !!!) Hi fab and ell enjoying your videos your sons are adorable. Our daughter has an all electric Audi electron but I think it had been discontinued but she has loved driving it x we have just ordered a Skoda enyaq all electric as I am disabled and use a power wheelchair and it was the most spacious hope that helps x

Highly recommend a hybrid if you're going to go electric. The range of electric cars at the moment are not great and you'll spend all the time searching for places to charge up! Srsly. It's not fun 😅

I wouldn’t go near an electric car just yet. Too expensive, not enough infrastructure around the country, not enough range and the technology is still developing. Give it 5 years at least.

Volvo all the way, take a road test. I have a XC60 and previously a XC40. Both excellent cars, with great safety!! A car for all ages.

Look at a hybrid car as an alternative to the fully electric, electric cars still have a lot of problems at least with a hybrid if you are low on a charge you won’t have to worry about getting to your destination,

Fab if your going to drop down to one car how can the car you want just be a business car ? You need to go for a car that suits a family of 4 with a lot of baggage that looks smart enough for business when needed. It doesn’t make sense to get a sporty business model if in 3 months time you drop the second car and you find you have an unsuitable vehicle for you the twins and all the stuff that goes with you. Just imagine packing up for a holiday in Cornwall which is a place I know you love and how much you have to fit in the car for a week and then find something that can do everything you need it do. Test drive all types even the ones you both hate because something may just surprise you both when you have actually driven them. ❤

When I spoke to BMW recently (I have petrol car), they were telling me about the disadvantages currently with electric. You have to be mindful of how far you are travelling without running out of power, and the sheer inconvenience if you do a long drive of having to stop to recharge. Also, if you are in a long traffic jam on a motorway, and have lights on, heating on, wipers on, etc.. be mindful of how much power you could potentially drain. For me, it's personally a no-no, but your situation may be different. @@fabandell

Exactly. They still dont know how to safely dispose of the batteries either. And the batteries cost AUD$30,000 to replace after 10 years or less.

Do your homework on electric cars..People here turning them in. They go on holidays and can't charge when needed. Ask how long it takes to fully charge😂..The infrastructure in canada can't handle electric cars..Really do your homework..ask how much a battery costs if goes dead..thousands of $$. You 2 love buggies and cars..lol..youll have bought 3 brand new cars before electric mandatory.. you guys are funny. Nice to work from home with two lovely..lovely boys. Beautiful and so happy. I would never ever buy an electric car, they are still bad for the environment just in other ways, there's also a lot of them catching fire, one that had to be stopped by a police blockade on the motorway as they couldnt break. There's so many reasons. I also think because you love performance cars, i can't see them being as good, even a diesel performance car isnt as good as a petrol, the electric will be slower and laggy. I drove a jeep, sports model....hybrid thing, it was awful, the thing barely moved when i put my foot on the acelerator! Also, having driven from Wales to London today, every services we drove past, on the overhead messages they all said they had no ev charging available at the services. I wonder if many more people get electric cars, how long will you have to queue to get a charge while you're travelling? What about the kids in the car, are they going to wait patiently? I personally wouldn't risk any of these factors with little kids but thats my opinion. There are other ways to save the environment, getting a non sports car, a more ecological car would be one of them x

The range on them all is absolutely shocking real world figures about 100miles less than they say and charging network is terrible personally I’d still keep a second car for Ell even if it’s just a cheap £1-2k car just so if your ever away and she needs to get somewhere in an emergency or rain or whatever she can doesn’t haven’t to be anything fancy
