It's funny cause one of the ideas during your "new card type" discussion was minions that take up multiple board slots. We sorta got that, though not as a new card type but a keyword.

Dredge seems nice because often the card I need is a bottom 3 card in my deck... but now it's going to be the 4th bottom card in my deck. Well I'm sure Mark is going to run a few of these

I see Collossal minions are the "Primes" of this expansion and I'm so freaking hyped for it. Can't wait for literal Exodia

When I first saw the new keyword Dredge, the MTG player in me was experiencing some PTSD.

These really feel like scaling power back a little from the high powered questlines while making cards seem fun

I don't know if these will be any good, but I already love them for the flavor. The interaction with the bottom of the deck and "fishing" for cards in a deep ocean expansion is great!

What I am really hyped about is… Regis in scuba diver outfit as the expansion’s ‚wallpaper’

I can absolutely see Okani being played in every single deck. Not just cause it’s free, but it is such a great tool to block your opponents plays and will absolutely hurt Kazakusan decks Edit: when I say everywhere, I mean to a similar popularity as Mankrik was during Barrens

I dont like DH, but the moment I saw Xhilag, it has me hyped for the future of hearthstone, because this is such a cool concept. I'm genuinely excited to see what else they can pull off. Having massive minions that play around needing more board space is a unique way to play with the board space limit in hearthstone. Even if they don't see play competitively, they're mechanically a hit for me. Keep it up, Blizz.

Man for past 5/6 years whenever i was talking with someone about our custom hs sets ideas i always bring up nautic theme set. Im so happy its happening but also i'm kinda sad. (but to be honest my version was about Murloc revolution against Naga so yeah it was kinda out there)

Okani gonna be absolutely insane for any class that can recycle minions or battlecries. "Counter the first Minion, Spell or both once a turn" will be fun.

i love the colossal keyword, the fact that it’s not a battlecry meaning you can revive or evolve into it makes it so much cooler. really makes the card feel like a huge entity

I have been waiting soo long for a "sea themed" expansion. Very exciting.

I'm so hyped for this expansion. I've always loved the theme of giant creatures, like Un'Goro's dinosaurs, or the Whispers of the Old Gods', well, Old Gods. Loving the gigantic sea creatures, and also Nazjatar is a beautiful place to explore

Dredge is a really cool keyword. It gives you a lot of control and information about a portion of your deck that is, to balance it out, hard to access. It’s a pretty cool implementation of a scry-like mechanic.

This is literally my favourite ever expansion theme. Love a good sea theme

Hey Regis idk if you will see this, but the description is the same from Onyxia's Lair. Just wanted to let you know. Anyway this expansion already has me interested because I have wanted a water themed expansion for so long. I can't wait!

I like the new twists in general. The "if you cast something while holding this, get extra stuff" will probably play out in a satisfying way as long as they don't go too far with it. Dredge is weird and probably causes confusion with Magic the Gathering players, but it could turn out well.

I didn't believe the hype of the designers' tweets. But I have to admit that I'm very interested in the set. Looking fresh and interesting. Let's see what we'll get... Thanks Regis for the ratings! You really have the balls to rate still. So many stopped that. And of course thanks for the video and the work behind it.

I'm looking forward to seeing how golden cards and the diamond card will animate with the high likelihood of water and splash effects being involved.

Loved the review! Do we know how cards that shuffle things into the deck interact with Dredge and adding cards to the bottom? In the past when you would Polkelt to put the deck in descending order, if you then shuffled cards into the deck it would once again be randomized. Do these new mechanics work the same way or does Dredge always guarantee the next draw? Also how do these effects stack with each other? Does playing 2 Dredge cards guarantee the next two draws?

Honestly Okani looks so cool. It's mind game, combo break, and skill expression for both players. Really looking forward to the voiceline/animation as well, because the flavor is sick

looks cool.. the rogue combo card seems massively underrated at 2 stars. its assassinate + 4/4 for 5. very powerful swing.

The colossal mechanic seems amazing, but Xhilag seems insane! 7/14 in stats for 7 mana, AND deal arcane missiles, AND the damage increases

As the cards indicate how much colossus will be summoned as keywords, I think there will be cards that increase these numbers, working like spell damage.

This set looks exciting. So happy naga is finally an archetype.

Praying Paladin has access to a juicy colossal minion to play after dropping down Dun Baldur. If there's no class ones, Faelin + dredge maybe?

Funny thing about dredge is that it’s similar to legend of runeterras predict with a little of the bottom deck spice form it’s toss effects which are also in the game

Blademaster Okani is definetly a cool card. It's disruptive but has counterplay, and involves some actual strategy, unlike Tickatus.

Maybe this is a silly question but after Polkelt was introduced i believe it was clarified that cards that manipulate decks in some way also tend to shuffle that deck as a secondary unlisted effect (therefore potentially breaking Polkelt's one time effect) and i was wondering if Dredge also has this pseudo shuffle effect on decks. Obviously not on the card you pick as that has to go to and stay on the top of your deck, but what about the rest of it? If you use Ambassador Faelin for example and then play a dredge card to pick one of the colossals, if you then play another dredge card would 2 of your 3 picks be the remaining two colossals or would the deck be "shuffled" at this point and instead you get 3 random cards from your deck that happened to end at the bottom to choose from? I imagine the answer is no (to the overarching question of: Does Dredge "shuffle" your deck), but i still think this is something worth getting clarified as Hearthstone isn't always as straight forward or consisent with it's rules and effects as it might seem.

Called it on the Sunken City and Naga getting added as a Tribe/type. Still waiting on new League of Explorer cards... but I'm still holding out hope since i'm pretty sure that was Finley in the trailer.

Another really nice thing about Dredge is that it tells you what you WON'T be getting any time soon. Should help to both gain some value and allow some more knowledge about what cards to not expect coming soon and adapt around.

White Eyes, Shaman legendary, adds the Storm Guardian to your deck and it comes with the legendary rarity symbol

This has already become my most favorite set of all time

Bloodscent Vilefin is a fun callback to Seadevil Stinger all the way back from Gadgetzan. Let’s hope warlock gets actual murloc synergies this time.

Colaque will be good with the 5 mana minion that summons a copy of a beast on your field. Target colaque and you get another shell from the summon.

Bootstrap is a Combo disrupter which to me is a great idea.

Serpent Wig is absolutely adorable

Bloodscent vilefin might make my shenanigans deck strong enough to compete in wild if we get just one other solid murloc piece

Bootstrap sunkeneer likely will have other benefits. Does putting an enemy at the bottom of the deck make it shuffle? It could be a disrupt or effect for other dredges. I’m thinking of scenarios like where shuffling the deck breaks effects like that one minion that ordered cards from highest to lowest cost.

As a wow player, BFA wasn't a big hit story or final raid wise, but Eternal Palace (the Nazjatar/Naga raid) was really fun, and the zone was actually quite thematic. So while the story of BFA wasn't great, this is definitely a zone i dont mind revisiting in hearthstone, lots of cool minions and legendary enemies they can use.

Is there anyway to make a minion stealth in Druid? Can’t think of one but if there ever was pretty sure that turtle becomes super OP

Tradeable will interfere with dredge after putting things at the bottom of a deck

I'm really curious how some of the bottom of the deck effects will work. Because I know your deck is functionally "reshuffled" any time something gets sent back or added to it, so I'm wondering if the game will track bottom of the deck effects differently or if they'll maybe readjust some of those other mechanics or what.

If you bootstrap sunkeneer a collosus does it remove it appendiges as well or just the main body?

Xhilag seems cool, but the Tentacles are just 1/2's. Doesn't seem difficult at all to be able to deal with it.

i have a question about spellcoiler naga, how you can discover a spell while hold this card in your hand when this card have a battlecry efect who will be activated when you play this card ?

Did they say anything about changes to duels? I only play duels now and it feels like BG and mercenaries are the only alternate modes that blizz pays attention to

Sunkeneer it's like a better vilespine cause it's a pirate and destroy can activate deathrattle, if rogue will become a more control oriented one with the new expansion that card will be everyone nightmare (for me it's a 4 star card but only if the meta or rogue will become more control)

what happens if you activate spellcoiler and then shuffel her, is it going to keep its activation and if thats the case could your copy multiple activated with stuff like scheme or even just copy it with potion of illution?
