Kinda seems like the way it works now disincentivizes the funnest part of beamng though. It needs a solid gameplay loop, not just what we have now with more features. I am confident the passion is there, I just have seen feature creep before and this is how it starts.
@@fossil98 I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing? I think having an incentive not to crash is a unique challenge in comparison to most racing games, and is a great way to make the realistic crashes, fittingly, impactful in a realistic way. On top of that, depending on how how hard it is to make money, crashing may not be that big of a deal.
i’m genuinely speechless. when career first dropped, i wanna say around 0.26, i tried it, and thought it was a cool with lots of potential. haven’t tried it since. but holy have they updated it. i’m definitely going to hop on beamng tomorrow to try it out
Your way of reviewing new BeamNG updates is on the next level! You show absolutely everything without missing any even tiniest details. Even though I already watched a lot of videos about 0.30 only in yours I found some interesting features no one was talking about. Amazing job👑
@@toastczdid you notice the bug in the new steel factory on west Coast? When driving infront of the oven, your tires pop and you get stuck. Annoying in a police chase :/
Literally no other update video showed the new career mode features, even though they literally showed how close we are to a complete career mode. We can literally buy parts, used cars, and even gasoline! I know it's buried in the release notes, but how can anyone miss this?!
Honestly WCUSA is the map that I believe needs the most work. They tried to cram everything in a map that is far too small for what it intended to achieve. Just look at the rather depressing attempt at replicating the Pacific Highway. Its literally a stretch of road that is less than 50m long. Im glad they keep adding stuff to it, and that it seems like the barriers of the edge of the world have been officially breached, and that they will keep expanding it outwards. It desperately needs it.
Im glad they added paying for repairs and gas. I got bored of the power of sandbox and being able to crash and fix your car at any time. I love this update.
Yoooo I'm subbed, you have dope content! And you're right, I didn't know about the new hidden stuff until I saw this video. I was kinda disappointed when I saw the one car and two trailers and that's it, but there's actually an update to my favorite part of the game: career mode!
There is also the cracking sound when you turn off the engine and it need to cool down, try turn off your engine after you make it reached near high temperature, it will make cracking sounds.
i hope it comes out soon, its really fun, i really like that you have to step out to go to dealership and stuff, feel like the walking get overlooked alot, also its really fun to upgrade cars on a budget
i gotta be honest, i think sychronizers are way more resistant in real life because the ammount of times ive missed my second gear and the thing still works, it wouldve already breaked by beamngs standards 🤣
@@joshuamccutcheonnot really my laptop gets a solid 60 1440p on everything but italy which just stutters every now and then and my pc is very outdated. I7 10750h and 2070 max q
Can anyone tell me how to disable parked cars on career mode, My game is running at 2 FPS with parked cars and the traffic AI menu is locked. I still want traffic AI just not parked cars
Imagine if there comes an update where career mode is so realistic that you should unskrew every bolt off your broken bumper like in my summer car. Also I'd like if you could buy your self made automation cars in career mode.
