OMG a **real** ombre... in a fuzzy yarn!! Okay, I can forgive the fact that a certain *other* ombre never made it to the store shelves now, LOL!!! (Not that I was holding a grudge or anything!) This yarn is amazing and .... oh gosh I'm gonna have to buy some even though I swore (to myself) I wasn't buying any more yarn until I emptied out a couple bins. My yarn room overfloweth!!! But I can't pass this up!! I've been making TONS of child-size ponchos (from your tutorials) to sell at a Fall Festival we have around here in October. I think these colors would be awesome for little ponchos!! Thank you SO MUCH for showing these! 💜💜💜

Halo = fuzz hanging off it. I love the desciption!! That's why I watch you!! I like the down to earth descriptions and explinations.

This yarn is Soo pretty. I wish I could afford to buy this yarn and make myself a blanket out of it to cuddle with. Yarn prices are out the roof now. Thank you for sharing Crystal as always. ❤❤❤

They are all pretty, but if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the one with the olive green in the middle. I wish there were more choices of greens.

Thank you for such a thorough review. Lucky me, I happened to peruse the yarn at Walmart today, and saw this one colour on sale. I live in Canada, and the regular price is $12.97. I got it for $3.00, on clearance. I bought all six. The colour is ‘Silver and Gold’. It feels so soft, and the colours are silver, light yellow, and deep yellow/gold. 😊

From a price perspective, I’m so happy this one is at Joann’s since Michael’s never does 40% anymore. I’m hoping Joann’s starts carrying more Caron cakes because I love them but I can’t afford or justify the price as someone on disability. I use a lot more Mandala cakes because I can pick the bonus bundles up with 40 and 50% off coupons. So more Caron cakes at Joann’s please! These are so obviously worth it at $6.50-$8 on coupon!

Awesome job with the ombre! I agree, perfect phasing. Now if they could do that in a 3 weight and 4 weight acrylic ,Red Heart Ombre would have some competition..and I'd be broke, lol ❤❤❤😂😊

The only problems with these terrific yarn reviews is it stimulates my imagination for projects I may never have the time to make up!! For sure these cakes make me want to do a warm, fuzzy wrap of some kind or even a throw to wrap up in!❤❤

I just noticed the "perfect phasing" written on the band ball! I wonder if that is referring to how smooth the transition is. I've never seen that smooth before and hope this is a new trend for all yarns because it would be nice if more yarns had no distinct line when transitioning colors.

I was doing so good at not buying yarn for the past several months except for yarn for specific projects. I love those yarns.

I like the OGo form. I know a lot of people don’t. But I have noticed that cakes can collapse and you can’t always move around with them. But the OGos stay in the correct shape and unwind without tangling all the way down to the bottom. But cakes are prettier to look at :-) either way, this is a great yarn! I am currently working on a project for my daughter. :-)

Wow, that may be the best ombre yarn I've ever seen! They seem to be focusing a lot on blue variations which I'm not complaining about because I love blue

I just completed a twisted snood out of a Caron Latte ‘Claret’ cake. I have had it for 2 years. I love it. But now? I must get some Caron Colorama Halo. I can’t decide which, maybe 2 of each would be nice. A gorgeous soft pink sweater for my granddaughter out of pink, and beautiful scarves for my daughters. Your video gave me a multitude of ideas. I made an afghan with this in o go form, I think I would love the cake form better! The afghan turned out pretty, I used a c2c, starting with dark to light, then light to dark etc, ending in dark. I absolutely love it as is came out softer after washing. Oh, man, I have to go shopping now!

I absolutely love colorama halo! Those new colors are stunning! Like another commenter said, you are not helping my hoarding!.😉😘 It is a good thing my oldest bought his first house and moved out a couple weeks ago.😂 For my birthday this week, my boys are coming together to purchase all the stuff to clean up his old bedroom, including removing the rest of the wallpaper from the previous owner and all the painting supplies.🥹💕❤️🥳 That way, next week while my hubby is on vacation, he and I can paint the room and finally bring my craft room out of the basement. 😶‍🌫️It will be a considerable downgrade as far as space goes, but I think we have a good plan as far as that goes.🤔 Only sewing and yarn crafts in there. 🫡 My woodworking and furniture flipping has to stay downstairs I have been told.🫡 No power tools allowed in the bedrooms!🤷🏼‍♀️ Lol I really don't understand why I can have my heat press, multiple sewing machines, embroidery machine, iron and ironing board, my computer and printer but my miter saw, all my sanders, chop saw, band saw and jig saw all have to stay downstairs. I mean, other than not having the space up here, I would certainly have better ventilation up here.

Oh my goodness, they finally did it… They came out with a new hombre a true hombre. I can't afford it right now but when I can, I'll be getting some thank you so much for showing it worked up and I agree that is the best I have seen in hombres, and I am very impressed with the gradient, which I usually avoid for the hombres because you are right, the change is so subtle!

I would say you're adding to my yarn hoarding, my but my home was recently vandalized and I mean totally destroyed by a family member and he destroyed everything I own. My yarn stash 😮 mutilated to the point where I have to start over but I wasn't harmed physically just my peace of mind was taken from me. Therefore after I've finished cleaning up I'll start to replenish my yarn. So I'll continue to watch your channel Crystal because it's how I know what's new in the world of yarn . I love this new yarn the colors are beautiful

I love this yarn. The ombre is flawless. I think that's my favorite thing about this yarn. I love the Quran latte cakes and if they had an ombre in the Caren latte takes that would win. However, I really like this yarn for the ombre and the seamless color changes.
