Hey Chris, that looks like a really nice looking backhoe. My family has had a John Deere 210C, 310C, then went to the Caterpillar lineup with a 416B, finally we have a 420D as the sole backhoe owned now. All have been 4x4s. Was climbing around on an identical unit to the one shown in this video, and really liked the features and how it looked. Looks like a smooth operating machine for you. I thought it was funny both you and I posted up a 430E video within 30mins of each other.
They made A LOT of changes in the new F series. They redesigned the backhoe boom, redesigned the cab, changed the location of the exhaust stack, changed the location of the batteries, changed the aesthetics of the the hood (its more squared which I like), and did a ton more stuff to it. I think this is one of the best versions they've come out with yet and I believe it is much closer to the level of an N series Case machine. How did you like it?
yeah the whole set up on the back is completly diff. I think the only advntage with centre pivot is fact your outriggers extend out further making it more stable but at loss of visibility
You are correct sir! I had heard something different from one of my co workers, but after a close inspection there are no major design changes to the backhoe boom. Cheers
