lol for someone spend 10M-30M or more on house ..can forth the tax & maintenance easily without the blink ,most of the buyers in these kinda luxury mansions pays FULL in one shot, like 30 day closing!
Why do these people buy such beautiful homes with all the nooks &crannies, bowling allies,3-4 pools,gyms,5-6 car garage,6-8bedrooms,not to mention all the land?i have heard ,got more money than sense🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I once had a house of 7500 sq. ft. with my family of four. Totally ridiculous. We had rooms that we would enter once every other year. The living room was only used as a pathway to the family room. We realized that you never really use more than 2500 sq ft. for actual living, and even that was a bit large.
Really? ISO you’re an introvert. I had the same set up and the only room we never used was the theater. Having 4 kids, even if each kid only had 2 friends over it was a lot of bodies. Arrangement matters as well. Sounds like your house was outdated. Who has ‘hallways’ that lead to the family room?
@@debbylou5729 It was a 1920's house, and my kids were less than 10 yo. I think we would have used more of it when they were teenagers. Still, it was at the max of what I would think we would use.
Powder Springs is nowhere near Buckhead. I realized after buying a monster house that it was miserably expensive to maintain. I divorced, wanted no part staying there. I have a friend that has a house at least 20K sq feet on 6 acres in Buckhead, it’s a fortress bc crime is so bad you better protect your home. My kids are adults, I enjoy elegant simplicity and I would rather travel then pay housekeepers, lawn maintenance, a cook and whoever else. What a waste of money. Lesson learned.
Lisa Gunnison, housekeeping can be easy these days. You just buy one or two Robot Mop Vacuum Cleaners, you quickly dust off the furniture once a week and then turn on the aforementioned robots to clean and mop the floor while you are outside the house. Once every three months, you could hire a housekeeper just for one day to do a more thorough dusting off
@@Ladybugseason no kidding. The fantasy is a nightmare in reality all that stuff owns you! I can’t wrap my head around a friend who put in an offer for a 16m home on 42 acres. Of course it’s beautiful, but in essence no privacy and a battalion of staff and horses maintenance. Except one thing…..my shoe collection is bigger….😂😂🤣
@@Lisabug2659 I agree. After a certain dollar amount, a house really is just a house. The decisions become strictly lifestyle style and value based. It stops being about prestige or size and about comfort and ease.
@@Lisabug2659 lol hmm seems you married up and left with a bag. This is why marriage is no longer appealing to the young but again I don’t know your situation. You sound like a decent lady so maybe he was a bad dude or it just didn’t work. Who knows. Hope you help out the poor tho cos I realize in US the rich hate the poor. Darwinism and what not
Great video! For 2023, it’s hard to nail down specific predictions for the housing market is because it’s not yet clear how quickly or how much the Federal Reserve can bring down inflation and borrowing costs without tanking buyer demand for everything from homes to cars.
Given current recession pressures, it is unlikely that the stock will yield substantial returns in the near term. However, it may be a suitable investment opportunity. I will monitor market conditions and consider purchasing when there is an improvement in the relevant economic indicators, any idea which stocks this may be?
@Craig Daniels You are right! I diversified my 450K portfolio across various market with the aid of an investment coach, I have been able to generate a little bit above 750k in net profit within 2 years across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds.

The Rock's house is VERY nice, it's not totally overstated, this is the sort of house almost anyone with a large pocketbook could enjoy living in. I've seen houses that are WAY WAY overly lavish and specialized. But this one is very much in the old style country house style.
@@squirrelcovers6340 Clearly you know nothing about Georgia. Most of the State is literally run by blacks. Many of the most "backward" counties in the south of the state have majority black populations-- black sheriff, black judges, black doctors and nurses... People learned how to get along a long time ago. That said, the race card is a cash cow and plenty of people cash it in whenever they can.
so if it is so great being out in the middle of nowhere Georgia, why don't you buy it? People who can afford a mansion with those amenties obviously don't want it based on one very important factor of Real Estate, LOCATION.
@@JohnS-er7jh Oh I didn't say it was great, it's just much, much better than Atlanta. There is not a house of any size or type in the entire city of Atlanta that I would live in. You never get those hours back of sitting in traffic. Atlanta is a garbage can. I do own a farm in Northwest Georgia on Lookout Mtn.
😂! Celebrities shd think realistically in future spending on such huge mansions. After all life is short and changing as well as all humans ages.., watching from India 🙏
Rhiana's house hands down. Love it. Second choice, too bad it is in Detroit. Love your choices. Ok, third, the mansion with the 45 acres, stables and so. It would be a resort that would be tied with a legitimate non-profit.
If they can’t sell for anything that’s interesting. If the taxes are super high as an expensive house that’s a con but if the house sells for super cheap then taxes should be cheaper. Be funny if a non profit would buy a massive mansion and then like turn it into a homeless shelter or orphanage. Kids being raised in luxury. You probably could house a ton of kids in a mansion.
Unfortunately where most of these mansions sit they have laws that won't allow you to do that & real estate agents in those areas will blacklist you if they get wind that that is your intention.
When non profits turn houses into a shelter for kids… watch what’s going on behind the door. I don’t trust organizations like that. They don’t do anything just for free. They are usually a kids …… use your imagination.
If these mansions were turned into homeless shelters or an orphanage, doesn't mean they'll be in luxury. What makes a mansion luxurious is the furniture, not the fact that it's a big live in building. Stop only thinking of things that they only show on camera and think about behind the scenes, what we don't see, like mansions without furniture
It's so big , the utilities the maintenance , 45 acres I mean the up keep is significant, how many ppl for its upkeep?Like having a personal entourage all the time, and a security team, just too big.
Happy New Year may this 2023 be filled with peace love and happiness this video was a absolute banger keep up the good work much love and respect to you
The thing about celebrities is that they don't think ahead 10 years (or 1 year) as to whether or not they'll be still living there. And what they have built is unique but so huge that in some cases unsellable just because of that never that it was theirs.......
I was surprised to seeThe Rock bought a home in Powder Springs Ga. It’s a small town with a tiny downtown area that looks like Mayberry. They were filming a lot of movies in the surrounding areas once Atlanta had the big boom in giving tax breaks to movie studios tho.
Powder Springs is very close to Marietta & Atlanta, it's on the rural side but it hardly resembles Mayberry. It's demographic is 60% Black, 30% White & 10% Other.
Hey Kyle, enjoyed the video. I wouldn't even pay a million for a house. I just can't see myself doing that. Even winning the lotto. I like my house and my car. There are things I would do to improve my living in my house, but I just can not see myself buying a million dollar mansion. Happy New Year! Kris
Well of course these places aren't selling! It's a very small market in the first place, and most people, when they get to that level, want something absolutely personal, not someone else's "dream home".
Here's the question people should be asking. Why are so many stars selling their houses? Why aren't they buying new ones? Where are they living? Why do so many of them look so different? Watch the song Lopez did with Bulldog at a slower speed and you'll begin to see. Also look up Executive Order 13818. That'll explain all the above questions.
(Rock's house)Yes I would love to live there to bad it was not more NY, Philly area OMG I would buy it with no questions, I have been seeking a house like that and it hits every mark for me lol no joke I need to hirer you
Okay automatic subscribe we've never met and I have been running across or videos over the years and as I stumbled onto this channel I knew it was speaking I said that's that Kyle! Well done

here's the problem -SUPER HIGH taxes , insurance , maintenance . And finally the threat of impending price collapse caused in part by the aforementioned.
Kyle, who can live in such gigantic houses? Any house with decking is a no, no, as wood rots, and does so remarkably rapidly. I dislike being near deep water, and that includes lakes and rivers. The maintenance of many of these houses is nigh impossible. How can you have a house with 6 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. That has to be a blunder. But interesting nonetheless!
we thought about buying overseas but this would be a problem...Someone whom wanted to live in the same country, in the same area and had the same relative taste in homes would have to be interested...In other words, we'd be stuck with the property...
Heres the problem, especially right now. Nobody can purchase much at all due to hyperinflation. Houses are extremely overvalued currently. You'd be a fool to not wait a few years, see what happens.
Real estate and architecture isn't what you think it is there are literally thousands of homes that are abandoned and mansions. Things you buy cost you even more money than it's not exactly an investment.
The Rocks house is almost 20 years old, that’s not “new”. It’s hard to sell an older home for millions of dollars when most people that can afford that price just build new and custom.
When you mention some of these homes in mansions you really should mention how many bedrooms because that's a priority too many people that's looking to buy Mary j blige's last home in Jersey it would be nice to know how many bedrooms and baths it has and if it has a wonderful kitchen!!
The main reason why celebrity homes don't sell is because they are too personalized/customized to their needs. Not to mention over priced. It's like trying to sell a car that has been modified to your taste. Rims/Sound system/Paint etc. You narrow down the market of potential buyers by a huge margin with the assumption people will like what you like. That is not the case as demonstrated in this video. When it's more work to undo what you did to the property, it's not worth buying. That's why they don't even get offers close to what they are asking for. Im sure they get low ball offers but are never mentioned since the seller has too much pride to let it go for well under the asking price.
There is a reason all these celebrity homes cannot sell. Most people don’t need that much space. Houses require payment of property taxes, regular lawn maintenance, other maintenance. Unless someone wants to assume all those liabilities and bills to pay every month why would they want that? The number of buyers is relatively small.
Just way too big, too many bathrooms, too many specific extras. Too much electric cost, water, gas, etc. Too much taxes. The kids could hide and get into trouble way too easily without parents knowing. Teens, oh my, what trouble could they get into. It also would take a staff to keep it clean, upkeep, landscaping and other. Not practical at all.
I only really heard about MJ and his chi Town mansion. These other homes are new to me. I can't live that big. I'll take a nice condo in NY (only NY)🗽💙💪🏾🐐
The pricing certainly seems out of line, but I am not familiar with the areas. The problem of buying ie a vehicle, and customize it and make it even more select. The celebrities are not unique, where they want the maximum, and not necessarily realistic for the +/- if it. Kid Rock's was not over the top. And jlo, and not cut the selling price?
I always thought that Mansion in Georgia was a strange purchase for The Rock. I mean the house is out of place being in a remote area of Georgia. If it was located on Long Island or Greenwhich Connecticut area (Wall Street Money) it would have been purchased right away (Even for a LOT more money). He should donate the property / house and turn it it into a Camp for handicapped and/or disadvantaged children.
Nobody wants the taxes, utilities for a huge place expenses, maintenace and repair expenses, hired worker expenses, organization and supervision necessary to keep it going, insurance, and all the inventory for all those rooms and it's upkeep and so much waste and unused space and belongings. It seems daunting and more demanding than enjoyable in concept when it gets to such extreme sizes. Having land for activities or privacy is one thing-as long as the land is not acres of landscape to keep up-, but those colossal buildings and contents seem like a prison demanding way too much use of time, money and resources. Also, a lot of people worry about being in a building so big that you have no idea if there is a fire or intruder in another area. That is why I think so few people want these huge homes even if they have the money to buy them.
You don't get money for things only you like. No one pays extra for star cloud. I generally think neighbors are too close. Couldn't they afford a little bigger lot?
Which mansion would I want to live in? Duane Rock Johnson's Location, location, location. I wouldn't want to live in the crowded areas or WHAT?! Detroit?
Except for the white and black exterior, I like the first house. Too bad it's near Atlanta. Hard to believe the second house is 6,000 square feet. Looks more like 2,500. Kid Rock's house -- pretty landscape, but no thanks. It also claims 6,000 square feet. I'd say it's more like 2,500. Buyer beware: Check the square footage. Rihanna's house: not very attractive. Shakira's mansion: Ugh. What's that monstrosity looming over it next door? Architecture and interior decor also leave a lot to be desired. Rihanna: more bad interior decor. What is it with people wanting such colorless, bland interiors that look more like offices than homes? Just because "everybody" is doing black, white and gray doesn't mean you have to. If choosing soulless decor reflects people's character, we're in big trouble. In two of the houses, the ceilings look like they could be in a parking garage. The terrace of Rihanna's place is really nice, though. Blice "mansion". What a joke. Looks like three industrial storage sheds that crashed into each other. As for her "French chateau" mansion, I don't know why American architects don't just copy the originals. Their "interpretations" are unfailingly pretentious and ridiculous.
