Good is a understatement... like wildfire will completely wreck people that have no nopify as this archetype won't have serious trouble to find at least 4 wildfires in a match (which are 10 damage just from that) and play 6+ cards per turn or activate plunder I know when a tier 0 archetype is around the corner and this... well gives me tier 0 vibes.
A minor good thing about the Dedicant of the Challenge that wasn't mentioned is that it helps you empty your hand and avoid burning your deck due to having too many cards in hand, which feels like it could be a real problem with Nilah
Fiddle will likely be near the end Nilah is seeking monster and threats to defeat with voli being the 1st major threat and her stopping at piltover to find janna
That's actually a really good idea. I suspect that Janna will very much be a 'support' for decks, so making her support for fleeting decks with an aura is pretty fitting for Janna.
I'm thinking Janna will shuffle the big whirlwind spells we saw into your deck to find with Updraft as a win condition. So Janna/Nilah seems to be intended
Janna is going to hit nexus with spells, elemental spells that you can +1 dmg and also draw/create a lot Is Nilah for plunder/ezreal decks Nilah is more like dmg on board
I can somewhat see Nilah's kit and spells knocking the enemy board to 1 hp then that one Janna ping (plus whatever else Janna has in her kit) to knock them down
If Janna's mechanic is gonna be updraft, then volibear's mechanic is most likely gonna be elements, it makes sense since most of the elemental cards are on freljord
@@doodlegarbage6769 dataminers seem to have found the number of cards of this expansion and the region they're from, the three regions that have most cards are bilgewaters, P&Z and freljord, in my eyes, the bear is all but officially confirmed

@@doodlegarbage6769nilah’s flavour text mentions volibear by name, we got a frejord lighting bird alongside a nilah and Janna card in the variety patch, and the elemental reveal came with a list of cards becoming elemental cards that had a few new cards teased in it one of which was called sky splitter which is volibear E in league.
She looks insane because she synergizes with so many decks that are already meta or recently lost one of the things that made them meta or are so close to being tier 1 decks that already use Bilgewater as a support region. Immediately what comes to mind is Swain, Samira and Ekko/Jinx but with the sheer amount of draw and mana cheating that this package (Dedicant of the Challenge guy is legit just Hearthstone's Thaurissan with extra steps) is bringing to the region I can see Bilgewater quickly becoming the premier splash region for any mono region or any decks that aren't really utilizing their second region. I can see some decks going to Bilgewater for a 37/3 deck just for 3 Dedicants Also crazy theory but I could see a Nilah Deep Deck that uses Nilah to go Deep with Nautilus as a win con that avoids Shadow Isles and potentially uses a different region like Freljord or Targon for support.
@@snowycatmsm2786 yeah... no the thing is that fleeting draw combines terrible with removal. If you were out to combine swain and nilah you would have to make sure that every spell is always usable and for example flock is not and an absolute staple for swain decks
@@tobias97erdt Nilah level 2 insta levels swain, swain also has ow so Nilah level 2 enables swain level 2, Nilah level 2 is also out of combat damage so u instantly stun the strongest enemy (which is usually the one with the most health as well).
Nilah will be INSANELY good. Her level 2 is INSANE. It's similar to a nasus level up if not a little better.. (edit and nocturne too. More of a mix of nocturne renekton)
@@moguel1524I think he means how Nasus level two makes it easier for him to hit face, much like Nasus reducing power. Nocturne would’ve probably been a better comparison though.
well, nilah actually seems pretty hype! i was a bit concerned from the reveals yesterday being so spell heavy, but hoo boy, im glad they didnt just leave brash as it was. nilah is gonna be the new tf alright. shes gonna go in so many decks just because her kit is so draw heavy
What I love about Nilah is that, right off the bat, there are a LOT of potential builds for her: Jack, Jinx, Nami, TF, Den, Samira (even if I'm not a great brewer, just from seeing her kit I think those could work), and she even seems to be intended to be paired with Janna (whom we haven't seen yet and who could work with Annie or Jhin because of the elemental spell/skill thing). I can't remember the last time we got such flexibility with a champion and that makes me really excited for her, even if yesterday I thought she wouldn't be as interesting because the kit didn't appeal much to me.😍
honestly Boat is my favorite card game mechanics in Lor, really no other card game have that, it's a tutoring card but high mana to not feel like cheating, while having the ability that synergise it's champion serverly even if they are already drawn
I think a lot of old spells and skills will get an elemental tag, Anivia and Annie are sure to get it, probably all the frostbite spells and avalanche too, I could see a ramp deck with deluge and anivia, anivia attacking for 2 before lvl up is great and 3 dmg avalanche is deadly too .
it's strange how the chaampion who actually plays off of the keyword brash is realeased 1 expansion after it was introduced, either way she seems like a fun character to play in POC
I’m praying to the LoR gods that when we see Janna that she’s a respectable card since she’s a fucking GODDESS! For real! I better not see a 1/3 elusive card with fucking support or I’m gonna be so mad. She’s far stronger than most other champions so I hope that gets reflected in her card
Remember druid in Hearthstone? The reason for it being op is because it not only have ramp and aoe clears but Also alot of draws to Get the ramp early. Ramp decks need 3 things: ramp, draw and a finisher. Nilah package might push ramp decks to a different lv because now freljord have a way to draw rampa more consistantly. When freljord gets some great finishing units/spells in the future its gonna feel insanly bad to play against
Something fun about desiccant is if you only updraft one card you still get to draw 2. Also is Nilah’s level up her fighting against Nagakaboros? That’s cool
29:20 the Ziggs ''everytime a ally landmark is destroy deals 2 to enemy nexus'' ability DOES increase with tybalkus and skill damage increases so is not sure that Nilah won't scale with it
With nilah, and tf on eternal, im already thinking about the ULTIMATE nab deck, with the 5 mana slow targon spell, that makes buffs permanent, thats gonna be terrifying

You want wildfire? Why not just print it in the printing region that has draw, predict+draw, AND ALSO HAS THE GODDAMN SUMP MONUMENT! Protect your nexus with landmark, ignore whatever's happening on board, just hit their nexus, and have Teemo and clockling for some extra dmg. I stand here praying wildfire gets the Siren Song/Ruinous Acolyte's landmark treatment.
tho I'm kinda disappointed there's no Joy Demon as her big 8 mana card, like that is the most hype charater in Nilah's lore Ayyy maybe fiddlestick tease?!?!??!?!
