I am on pins and needles for this collection to come to the US! A lot of colors that really speak to me. Was lovely getting a little preview through your try-on.
Hello Hanna. I ordered both of the blushes (skipping the quad for now) and cannot wait to try mixing and matching them on my skintone! It seems that I'm becoming quite the Chanel blush addict ,lol! I particularly enjoy collecting the LE offerings! Thank you for showcasing this collection on your pretty face!
I think the lilac perhaps could be used as a shade adjuster, if a blush is too warm it could be used to bring it back to a more neutral tone or cool. Just an idea to get some more use out of it. Thank You Hannah you did a lovely job xo
I love the palette but completely disagree about needing orange over the, more contemporary and less vivid, orange. Orange has been all over the place for the last 3 years. I find the camel very mod and complimentary to the other colors. It might look better on someone with a more Mediterranean or darker complexion. You did a nice job. 💕
@@paulacarter9498 yes I know what you mean, wanting an orange is very much a personal thing for me because it suits my skin tone and eye colour. I don’t think this colour story works very well on me but it could work very well on other people. They are very high-quality formulas so if anyone likes the colour story I don’t think they will be disappointed ❤️
I love the look you managed to create with this quad! I won't buy it, but I'll try to replicate the look with what I have in my collection. Thank you so much for inspiring me! Glad I found your channel!
Yes I am waiting for the eyeshadow palette and the lilac blush. I think I will follow the Chanel video for it to start with, the lilac and purple with just a touch of the green and mustard and the lilac blush and camel lips, as it looks amazing and I am curious about it on my colouring, then I will play around with the colours. Thanks for this video ❤
Dear Hanna, thank you so mush for the review , all the products are look very nice on you , also the palette , its look beautifull on you. I am waiting the next review.❤
Hi ! Thank you for demoing Chanel’s fall collection. The eye look you created is indeed autumnal, thanks mostly to your artistry, your gorgeous eyes and the warmth of your natural skin tone. The Blood orange blush is fine but not my favorite on you. Combining the lavender blush with the Berry blush is flattering; so when the collection arrives here, locally, I will try this combination. Thanks again!
@@jocelynel-fab5214 this is quite a strange collection, isn’t it? I am very happy with the lavender and berry duo. I will definitely be using that one again. I hope that you love it too. ❤️
It definitely works for that, if you watch me applying it again I was wearing a bronzer and you can see how it really cooled that down and actually changed the colour of that cheek. It also had quite a good blurring effect. ❤️
These comments are kinda harsh, I think it looks so pretty on you, the names are kinda spooky but it’s just makeup, thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed it
@@juanitalopez2070 thank you so much, I don’t mind the comments as I know that this quad is not one that suits my skin tone and to be honest it was very difficult to even work with. I tried the look suggested by the brand and that looked even worse 🤣
hi Hanna, usually your looks are stunning, i think maybe your top was too busy to create a makeup look, the palette is gorgeous, i think it went awry when you used the purple on the outer v , then you add all that glitter, the blushes look stunning, but your bronzer changed, the entire vibrancy of the blushes, i think you should do a look with a foundation as your canvas! i wish you could recreate the look, showcasing the actual blush to each cheek, or recreate a eye look without blanc pearl, that camel colour is absolutely stunning, so is the green on you!
@@niaabader329 it certainly was a challenge, I’m going to film shorts videos with a different eye look and another showing the lavender blush in 3 ways. Thank you for your feedback ❤️
Thank you for this! 🌝🌞 I know what you mean about the bruise-esque tones, but they look stunning on you. 😊 What stumps me about this palette is that the four mattes come in shades that will get muddy, which limits the looks anyone can create as you can only wear two shades together on the lid. When I first saw the palette, I spotted that immediately and glad I did not buy it until I watched you swatch and apply it to be sure. But the shades are autumnal and gorgeous! ❤
I do like it a lot more than I thought I would, but if I wasn’t buying this for review, I would not be picking this one up to be honest. It’s just okay for me and it needs something special which it is lacking. ❤️
Hi Hannah, I had my doubts with the eyeshadow quad, however with the blood orange blush, lipliner & lipstick it goes so well together, I’m not a fan of that lilac blush for me on my cheeks but would wear it as eyeshadow, I enjoyed watching this video. Love Katherine xoxo
As a tan olive skin toned person, I normally wouldn’t be interested in this eyeshadow palette but on me, this unusual color story would read as a neutral palette with a pop of purple/lilac. Adding a corresponding shimmer from one of the new Chanel shadow sticks would look gorgeous!
This video was so helpful!!!. I like the quad but don’t absolutely love it. I’m going to pass on it. I love purples and greens, so I have a lot of them already. I agree, if one of the purples or the green had been shimmery it would have been nice. I think I’d wear the camel and green together and the 2 purples together for separate looks. I’d get the blood orange blush but I wish it was more pumpkin brown orange for the fall instead of more bright orange. The lavender blush is too light for me, although you made it work very well for you!!! I do think I’ll pick up the 198 Beige Orange lip liner. I could use a nice browny orange shade!
I’m glad that it was helpful and to be honest the liners would be my top pick from the collection although I do like the orange blush now that I have tried it with that highlighter, I don’t prefer it to the ones from last year though. ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 they look really good on you! I was surprised to see the third liner on EU chanel website because there weren't any spoilers about that brown shade. All I saw was the 2 you picked up swatched and advertised on the web. :)
I sooo much wanted this pallet and thank you very much for this review. After you said it looked like bruise, i just cannot unsee it! It really does and now im not sure about buying it 😢
I do think it won’t look like a bruise if you try the colours and a completely different way, next time I will be trying the purple on the lid and using the green to line underneath and maybe a pop of the mustard in the inner corner. I don’t think this will have the same bruise effect. 🤣❤️
I definitely think the quad is not meant to be used all together either separate shades or just the 2 shades in each row together, I'm not impressed. I do like the blush on you . I just don't know if I love this collection they could have done something great and I think they missed the mark with this one . I was thinking maybe the blush but I have the coral from the winter LB collection and I have the coral beige from last fall. I think last falls blush collection was way better. Yeah I think it's alittle to orange for me.
I don't like that the brush comes seperate to a blush. If I go away for a weekend I like having an included brush so I don't have to remember packing one 😂
They needed a cooler brown shade instead of that mustard. You saved me money on this. I had the same concerns about these matte colors. I don't wear oranges or reds on my eyes, so glad they didn't add those colors. The Lilac blush reminds me of Dioramour, which doesn't show up much either. This seems to be the year of invisable blushes. If I keep Dioramour I'll use it to soften another blush color. The lilac blush looks best on you with this look. You in the UK seem to be getting every luxury launch before the US. I honestly don't mind, I prefer seeing reviews before I buy. The only thing I'll probably get from this collection is the green/purple nail color. I do my own manicures and pedicures, so I'll get some mileage out of it. Thanks for the video!💚
@@DeborahCarlston I think the light blushes have their place but I’d rather they came in duos with a deeper shade. The quad is a bizarre colour combo isn’t it? We haven’t had the Chanel cream to powder blush or the Fenty blushes yet so launches seem to be split. ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 I don't think the Chanel cream to powder blushes are part of the fall collection. Maybe that's why they're being released separately. But in the US we haven't gotten any of that or the YSL Liquid blushes yet. You also got the Dior launch before we did. I don't wear Fenty, so I haven't kept up with her launches, so don't know. But both Dior and Chanel seem to be launching everything in the US last. In fact, the Aussies seem to have us both beat for launch times. And they never say why. I had one SA tell me that the Chanel palette you just reviewed won't be here until mid October! I hope she's wrong.
@@DeborahCarlston it is very strange why they are doing this with the slow releases. The YSL blush is available in the US. I did post a link for it. It is just available in one store that I know of. It did say that the YSL blush would only be available in October, but then this one link became available. I hope this collection is with you a lot sooner than suggested. ❤
@laurasenz Interesting. Are you an International Trade Law attorney? I'm al;ways curious. We makeup lovers are all over the map in more ways than just geography.
@@hanbeauty101 I just saw that I can get the YSL at Sephora as a VIB Rouge. I'm kind of over the liquid blush thing though. Am more curious about the Chanel cream to powder. But, honestly, at the current high price points, something has to be exceptional. I'm testing out the Tirtir cushion over the Danessa Myricks powder serum today. It went on beautifully. A little goes a long way. I'll see how it wears. But, if I like it, I might get the larger size. On application it applied like a much more expensive product. Also, I've decided to keep the Dioramour. (I change my mind multiple times a day on this.) Today I put it over the Danessa Myricks Lowlighter in Unbothered. That works as a blushlighter on me. Then the Diorama on top softened it and I could finally see the pink and lilac. I honestly hate to have to work to make a product work for me. But I had that "winter blush" picture in my mind.🤷🏻♀
It's hard to count this video as a review of that lavender blush, because you applied it on top of a bronzer and then added a different blush. So... we'll never know how it looks like on top of foundation... 😔
Sorry you didn’t find that helpful, I was trying to show the way I would use it and how other people might want to try and use it as it is just too light for me to use it on its own. I might create a short video to show this being used directly on my skin, but I’m not sure if it will even show up on camera which is the problem. ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 Short video sounds great! I didn't pick up the berry duo from chanel, so I won't be mixing it if I get a lavender one. The lavender blush sounds super unique to me. I think they were going for "Halloween - I'm dead - luxury" look 🤷🏻♀️ And also if it doesn't show on your skin tone, the video is still valuable because that's how the "blush" works on your skintone. I think it is worthwhile.
Nothing for me here. I have plenty orange and purple blushes in different formulas😊mustards and swampy greens look terrible on me and I don't even like looking at them😅 I think there are much better shades to mix w those purples. They should have went for proper cool toned greens or teal. The earthy tones can't mix w those pastel purples especially not in matte formulas. If they made the purples toppers or metallics you might get somewhere
This seams a project from last year university, doesn't seam a collection made by a professional. Hard to use, hard to mix with clothes....also the names are very creepy, its seams to me a Balenciaga infiltrated creator, or a french Olympic games creator to ruin Chanel
@@inira7418 it is a very strange release but then I have seen a few strange releases coming out. Maybe because of eyeshadow being less popular they are trying to release something very unique. Very odd though. ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 No, it isn’t. I’m very sorry. You are beautiful woman, that looks very beautiful in neutral and warm tones. Cool tones, just like you noticed, will look on you like a bruce, as though someone punched you in your face. The lavender Palette is very beautiful, but very specific: it’s very cold.
I'm interested to see the looks they use on their models for this. I really don't like this eye look. You applied it with skill so it's not you it's just the colour story. It's odd.
The two suggestions that it came with said to either use two shades only or to use all four, but I did opt for the camel as the transition shade instead of the lavender as they suggest, maybe this would have worked better. I don’t like following the rules though😂
Please forgive me I don't mean to be rude but putting that lavender under the brow bone looked awful. That color story just don't do anything for your skin and eyes. Again don't mean to be rude.
