NEW CHANEL HOLIDAY MAKEUP COLLECTION 2024 REVIEW! 

I hope everyone is having a great week! The Chanel collection should be available online October 12th, the holiday sets are coming later in November. While I initially found the oversized palette really tricky to work with, I'm glad I didn't give up and kept trying to make it work. I stand by my opinion that it's not an easy, travel friendly, beginner friendly product so shop accordingly. I will have another makeup look using these products coming soon complete with an updated mani! xx

I just love how honest you review Chanel while still loving the brand! Loving them too but not every product is always great. Though I really like the colours of the palette, fall out isn’t great 😬 Stay safe ❤

Stay safe dear Erin. The highlighter is a very beautiful one. There is an overspray on it. Once the over spary is gone it is a slightly pink shade. xoxo

Thank you for your review! I hope you and your family/parents stay all safe! This collection is not for me I will be skipping it all. Contemplating to get one of the pink lipsticks but not sure yet. I will instead pick up a Dior eyeshadow and maybe a Chantecaille one I saw some reviews and they look very pretty. Both Dior and Chantecaille have nice gold holiday packaging. Hope Chanel's spring collection has more neutral shades :)

I don't know what Chanel was thinking 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's reminiscent of Chanel in the 80s and 90s where they had the baked blush that near impossible to get any colour payoff from Out of all of the holiday collections thus far I think Dior has hit it out of the park! It's elegant, classy, and beautiful.

They say the highlighter have an over spray with glitters! underneath it’s gorgeous ❤

I feel like the highlighter too closely resembles the pearly white highlighter from last winter's collection. Probably a skip for me. I miss the normal sized sheen highlighters like reve de camelia or perles de lumiere. Hopefully soon! Stay safe Erin!

In terms of eye look, it’s amped up coral treasure palette. In fact even the Les beiges cool palette. So cool, coral treasure, enchanted night are light, medium and dark - kind of!

Love your review Erin! I am with you on this release. I’m going to get it, but I’m not like super excited about it. I also skipped the Chanel the fall collection. I’m not sure what’s happening with my favorite brand😩. First half of the year was wonderful! This second half is truly lack luster. I'm glad you are okay! Please stay safe! I am passing on the holiday collection as I just don't love it, and I don't think I can make it work for my style and complexion. The Dior collection tho is so tempting! They capture the holiday spirit.

The highlighter glitter is 98% overspray. Once you get passed it, it's a pinky champagne that is quiet subtle

I cannot see the emphasized texture on the right cheek - but I did love the tone of the bronzy/ coppery shade on the cheek!! 🤎

I couldn't put my finger on why I was on the fence about purchasing this release because usually, the holiday collection is one of my favorites from CHANEL. I would have purchased it if it was not oversized! The amount of product is not something that I will wear enough to justify the extra amount in the package and if it were a smaller palette, I would have purchased it. This will be the first time in a long time, skipped the CHANEL holiday collection. You hit the nail on the head for me with this review!

I have seen this palette on persons with darker skintones. This is a hit on them But on most people with fair skin it mainly look like they have Been geting or having an allergy! It totally Depend on which color they use in the palette.

I'm not liking some of the makeup reformulations. I got the other face pallet and it's just not the same. I prefer the eyeshadow singles they came out with and actually the older formulas. I do like Chanel. They are one of my favorite brands. Hope you are staying safe and dry over there Erin. :)

Yes, I don’t like the way the palette is oversized. A regular size would have been much better, even though the price difference is not that much.

I've been praying for everyone in the Florida. I am passing on everything from the Chanel Holiday Collection. I didn't like it from the first time I saw it. I'm hoping they are going to come out with a 1.7 oz size of Chanel No. 5 Parfum. That's what I'm holding out for.

We survived the hurricane here! Hope you are good in Miami and your parents in Tampa. 🙏It appears Milton did not hit us like we all expected. I love this palette....but it's not an everyday look. Agree the lipsticks were a fail. I did get the same nail polish as well as the palette. Besides those to items not interested in any other Holiday looks. Dior did a better job.

Ok… pass for this. I was looking forward to this, but not being able to build it up is a no for me. I’m going for the Nars or Dior holiday collections. Chanel’s releases have been so mediocre these days. So disappointing.

Unfortunately the entire collection is a hard pass for me. I wasn’t impressed with it at all.

I’m not liking the palette at all. The pink berry polish and pink lipstick, and maybe the highlighter. My counter will have the Guerlain and Dior collections on it for holiday. What is wrong with Chanel? Their collections since the gorgeous spring/summer one have been simply awful. The Cométes need to step it up!

The creators are doing a very bad work, they are ruining chanel

I do not like this collection at all. To be fair I haven’t seen it in person but the colors don’t scream holiday to me. Tonia Wells (she has impeccable taste just like you) was able to make the pallet work but she didn’t seem to be crazy about highlighter either.

I don't get that palette. Every single shade looks like a bruise. For whom was it made for? lol

Geezus 😂 Chanel is a hot mess right now. I just spent a small fortune replacing some of my Chanel staples, and so this disaster is welcome!! Money in my pocket. Kidding aside, i pray they dont continue down this path.

Chanel is so bad at the moment! I pass the Fall and I pass the Holiday! I´m a big Chanel lover but at the moment the product so clown typ of producs!

I like this collection for going out in winter. Not every day collection of course.
