Today, I'm unboxing and reviewing new Chanel skincare! They recently launched a new gel cleanser, exfoliator, clay mask and a few other pieces. @Erin Nicole TV How come the le gel smells weird. I got it at bloomingdales not even a year ago online, not sure why it smells weird. I haven't been able to smell it in the store to make sure mine was ok

I got a sample of the Le Lift and I loved it, and purchased it. Chanel is very generous with their samples so you get a nice feel for the products. Great Video.

Really enjoyed this video Erin, this was actually super calming and now am ready to sleep. I have samples of the camellia mask and I really love it. I’m looking at also getting their creamy cleaner, and toner as well as the gel day cream in time for summer in Australia. Must use my current skincare first

I was converted in Chanel skincare last September during Chanel days in store. I have in my daily routine the whole arsenal of skincare now (oil cleanser, masks, tonic, fluid, cream).

Nice review! I like the charlotte tilbury clay mask thats the only skin care from her line i have and its not drying at all. Jennifer Anniston mentioned it as her favorite mask in one interview and tried and really liked it

I have the Sublimage Gel-to-Oil cleanser, and i am loving it because it is just a single cleanser that could remove all makeup! even the waterproof eyeliner and mascara. A unique cleanser that is.

Hi Nicole 🤗 i already received in store the new Le Lift for night, i absolutely love it😍 the only thing i don't have is the clay mask, i don't know if it will be available here in Europe...i'm using the L'Huile and i also love it🥰🥰🥰you can use a cotton pad with some rose water to take off the mask, the thin layer, before your daily routine, i do that with some of my Sisley masks😉i only wash off the ones that are to wash off 🥰🥰🥰

I miss the mousse cleanser too. I recently bought the Brightening Tri Phase makeup remover. It is similar. I also like a gritty exfoliater. I need to feel like I am really doing something!🐗

i think that the pared down cleansing line is in the right direction, as it only encompasses the first step of the skincare routine. the actives are concentrated in their leblanc, le lift or hydra beauty lines for example to address the respective concerns following the cleansing step. the hydra beauty mist would be a great followup to the masque, before using the hydra micro serum and then the le lift moisturiser. the mist adds a hit of hydration but also preps the skin to receive more moisture in successive layers. these are very old (and very good !) products so i’m sure you know them !! 💗

What would we do without you, Erin. Such a useful review. I have a rose clay mask by Dior and that one is really gentle, non-drying whatsoever. However lately I’ve been getting irritation & breakouts on my chin & nose from wearing a mask (the protective type, you know 😏), and I hate how this affects my skin. Foundation- any- is no longer an option; so may be this new vitamin mask is worth trying to spot treat those areas of the face. Thanks again 😉✨

Wish I'd known they're reformulating before I went ahead and bought the old Le Gommage. I'm looking forward to these new products hitting the UK & Ireland so I can buy that mask. As for the Le Gel, I might try it, but I doubt I'll switch over from the Le Mousse which is my absolute favorite cleanser.

Cleansing gel,mask,scrub seems promising, I love the package, thanks for explaining the details about this .while using cleansing gel do we need double cleaning method?, plz share your thoughts about this I already finished cleaning oil ,looking forward to get a new one .thank you 🥰🥰🥰

You only need to double cleanse if you wear a lot of makeup. In the mornings I just cleanse once. At night, I use a balm cleanser to melt my makeup off and then a clarifying cleanser like le gel to remove what's left xx

I’m like you. I need a rough exfoliator. That’s why, despite trying more high-end products, I keep returning to Clinique’s exfoliating scrub. Do you recommend another?

Ooh yes, the 7 day scrub! I think that's the best one for the price. I really love Lancer polish and Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion scrub but both are pretty pricey. They last forever because you only need a small amount but the Clinique is far more cost effective :) xx

That surprises me, I didn't think it had a strong scent at all especially compared to their other skincare products! I guess everyone has different sensitivities of course. I still can't believe how intense it was lol xx

I am curious about Chanel skincare, but I assume they don't have good technology. I assume it's just "floofy" skincare from a high end makeup brand. Perhaps I am being unfair. I want effective cleansers and creams with legitimate ingredients that are proven to be beneficial. I will do research for sure, since I shouldn't be so skeptical without researching. I like a lot of their makeup, so it may be fine. I appreciate this video and seeing your thoughts! Thank you!

I completely understand because that's how I used to feel! The skincare is actually under appreciated I would argue. They do a lot of research on ingredients and are moving to more natural ingredients, which is great! xx
