I live in Australia and we’re in our summer now so it’s incredibly helpful that the releases are so far ahead!! I need to wear the spring colours now and save holiday collections till our winter in July!! I bought al the holiday collections but struggling to wear them in our sunny days 😊
I agree that the liquid eyeshadows and eyeshadow palette are the stand outs in the collection! I love the eye look you created using the palette! Those colors are stunning! I think I might have to pick it up myself!
I bought the Chantecaille Holiday highlighter and ended up returning it. It also was very powdery. The Chanel looks similar to it, yet looks like more pink . Not into "metallic powders and also returned that Laura Mercier Baked powder. Love Chanel blushes and I will check out this Glow stick. Thank you for your informative video. Your a breath of fresh air!
Was so surprised to see this collection this early. It does look beautiful. I have freckled, medium-light skin and am waffling on the Golden Light glow stick. I already have the transparent and sculpting sticks and love them, especially on the oh so cold and dry days in the northeast. I would like more color than the two other sticks offer. Would you say its kind of a "bronzing" effect glow stick?
Hi Erin: A little off topic but wanted you to know that I had my hair done like yours yesterday and I love it! Will be a challenge to see how the style is affected when the grey starts showing up but I am determined to make this work. My husband loves it too! :) Have a backup hairdresser in mind in case I need a second opinion when I need a touch up for the grey. I really don't think this will be an issue and I love the contrast.....makes my eyes really stand out even more. Thank you, Erin, for the tips you kindly gave to me when we chatted about this in the recent past. :)

I love the versatility of Chanel, am loving the eclat du desert as an all over illuminating powder with the Baume essential in golden on the eyelids, palette essential blush in beige clair on the cheeks and lips. gives a very modern, sun soaked look. The dust cloud formed by swirling in the pan makes the sand dunes feel believable 💕

With this collection released way too early you managed to get it AND be safe with your January no-buy plan😉 I am really hoping to slow down on getting all the LE collections in 2020; 2019 was a bit too much with countless LE releases... I really appreciate how Luccia keeps the spring theme so tender and ethereal, just like in 2019 (in my opinion, spring 2019 collection was one of the very best ever done by the brand. I feel like I can pull out the quad, the highlighter, the cream shadows from that collection & it would be still super fun & fresh & spring-trendy). I’m even glad the new highlighter is not really as desirable as I thought it would be (the opalescent one I think is more unique). The liquid eyeshadows are definitely a star here. & I do like the nail polish. Still, I’ll be the first in line if Chanel releases a new 9-pan eyeshadow & I adore their nail polishes & would like to see more options for the spring/summer & I would like to see some new lipglosses (like they had with the Napoli collection- I really regret skipping those) Thank you for showing us all these pieces, it’s very helpful!😉👏🏻👏🏻
LOL January no-buy is going to be very tricky...but hopefully I can do it! I also love more ethereal makeup, it always looks soft and beautiful. I wonder if they will come out with another 9-pan palette for cruise collection? I love those too! xx

I have been waiting for this and you did not disappoint. I have studied. the collection and like your choices. I may get the desert wind liquid eye shadow as well. Love the peachy colour in the quad. I will get that too. I was going to skip the highlighter but not now! Looking good Erin and my husband was tuning in too as I took my daily dose of you! Oh my god I am in love with the liquid eyeliners. I use the Giorgio Armani liquid eyeshadow... I am curious to compare. This collection is right on the money!!!!❤️❤️
The liquid shadow reminds me of the Armani liquids. I normally will use those alone or as a base for powder shadows. My Armani last all day so hopefully these will as well.
the highlight was definitely a surprise for me, i was also expecting a more traditional highlighter but when i first swatched it on my hand i almost though it could have been used as an all over finishing powder! But now seeing you use it on yourself, it looks too bright and shiny to be used for that purpose!
I agree Cynthia it's a very interesting texture. I love that it's different from the other highlighters they've come out with recently but it would have been really nice to have a luminous face powder. xx
Erin, beautiful look. I ordered the same 3 liquid eyeshadows as you did and the Mauve eyeliner stick. I was so tempted to order the Warm Memories eye palette but have the Chanel Quadrille, Seduction and Blurry Mauve eye palettes and felt I could get the same similar colors from those as well as from many singles I have. I also did not order any lipsticks or nail polishes and the Desert cheek highlighter though tempted. I have so many highlighters. I am anxious to receive my order. Anxious for the Dior Spring release and your review- love your videos.

I agree with you it’s so hard to think of spring/summer colors when we”re still waiting for Christmas. Hey Erin! Love your channel! I've switched almost everything to Chanel from mostly MAC because of you (including all my brushes). A lot of friends have commented my makeup looks more natural and less cakey which is great. Question.. do you have a video on here showing le gel sourcils longwear eyebrow gels? if so, do you recommend the clear or tinted blond/brun? thank you!!

Hi Erin, thank you for the helpful swatches and for creating a look. The eyeshadows seemed to deepen a little. I'm very encouraged that they might be the star products. I'm curious how the bottom two shades in Warm Memories compare to the similar shades in Mystere et Intensite. absolutely loved your glowing cheek and could see using these products transitioning from spring to summer. My picks so far would be the darker liquid eyeshadow shades, the highlighter, and maybe the balme essential, which I'll try on at the counter. It's too early for Spring collections but this looks like a good one!!

Hi Erin, I ordered mine from the Chanel website several days ago! So glad you demonstrated these. I was hoping that the powder was more of a soft all over glowing face powder....Lord know I don’t need anymore highlighters 😁 hahaha! Both the liquid and powder eyeshadows look stunning ! Xoxo 😘
My thoughts on the new collection The liquid eye shadows are gorgeous and stay put all day but they dry and set so quickly there is little play time till they set. The glow stick stays a little tacky but goes over foundation fine. I like the tackiness because I have dry skin. Both products are winners for me👍❤️

I was not particularly impressed with the collection, especially the quads but I am curious about the liquid eyeshadows. After watching your video, it was very helpful and I think I might try the Quartz Rose as an eyeshadow base. Thank you :)
Thanks for sharing the collection! I’m going to try the quartz rose ombre première laque but I think I may love the Dior show liquid mono a bit better. The Chanel one may be good as a base color where the Dior is good for a spot light eye. I may also try the baume essentials as I love the sculpting baume essentials!

The balm is still too sheer to be used as a bronzer and the finish is glossy so I wouldn't want to apply all over... but maybe more on the temples and cheeks? It's really pretty! xx

Thank you Terri! I started with the liquid shadow first, just a little concealer to prime my eyes underneath. The lipstick was from spring last year so sadly it's no longer available but I linked a similar shade, No. 2 Rose Violin is nearly identical :) xx

Thank you! It's the rouge crayon de couleur 27 that came out last spring, sadly it was limited but I just updated the description box with a link to a similar shade. The rose violin is basically an identical shade :) xx
Beautiful as always! Do you know which palette they used on the ad model on the main page of Chanel.com? I "think" it's the one you purchased but the other one is SO my colors, lol. I LOVE the look they did and want to copy it.
It's the warm memories, I just checked! But they also used both of the new stylo et contour sticks... I bet you could create a similar look with the other palette :) xx

In the Chanel little promo videos they used the baume on the cheeks with a little brush as a bronzer and not really as a highlighter. Is there a reason you didn’t use it that way? Or when you said it’s too dark for fair skin did you contemplate it that way or just as a top of cheeks/nose pop?
Do you think the Desert highlighter could be used as a light blush? or combined with the golden light baum as a blush? Just curious because it appears to be a light pink beige that could be layered
I still use it often! The liquid shadows are really beautiful too, the only piece I rarely touch is the highlighter but it's just because I own too many xx
what are liquid eyeshadows like to wear?? I have never worn them and am curious b/c of the colors (seems easy...). However, I am not a fan of creamy eyeshadows as they dried out.
Liquids are much thinner than creams so they are very easy to apply! I love them and they really won't dry out like creams as long as you close tightly :) xx
